I’ve been going to EA Well for at least 7 years. Laurie was my first hairdresser, and have been going to Melissa since Laurie moved away. I’ve never been disappointed! The cut and color look great when I leave the salon, and grow out nicely. Products used are top quality and have kept my hair healthy - even at 65 yo! I continue to get compliments on the results of Melissa’s talents 💇‍♀️

Michelle gives a great cut. She listens to what I want and we have fun figuring out what we want to do with my hair. She makes me feel relaxed and at home! I even learn about new styles. Got a money piece tonight and I love it!

My stepmom is visiting from out of town and made an appointment for today. From the website it says that Covid protocols are in place including wearing masks. Although she kept her face-mask on the whole time, NOBODY else was wearing masks including the woman coloring her hair!! She also told my stepmom that she wasn’t vaccinated! She was so uncomfortable but couldn’t leave because the color was already on her hair. Why would you put a ton of Covid protocols on your website and then not follow them. We will not be going back!

I felt so welcomed coming into this salon! Everyone was so professional and caring! This has been the best salon experience I have ever had! As someone who fears haircuts, Kalei Knight did an incredible job and performed exactly what I asked for - she is such a great listener and made it a point to ensure that I was more than satisfied. I first visited this salon with a Groupon deal and met Caitlin and have been coming here ever since. The whole salon is pretty and calming. I have never felt rushed. The staff is kind and welcoming. Caitlin has been amazing with my hair which is thick, long and dark so it takes a lot of work and she always does it with a smile. I love this place and recommend it to everyone I know in the area!

Im so glad to have found a salon close to me that uses organic hair color! The salon is very nice inside. The perfect size, very cozy and welcoming. The customer service was excellent. I called on a Saturday morning (as a new client), and they were able to fit me in that day! I got balayage and toner done with Caitlin and she was great! Very professional, patient and skilled. I love my new color and that Ive found this salon!

I was skeptical after reading some of the lower star reviews, but I still chose to give this salon a try. I can honestly say I was blown away by the level of customer service I received. My experience was everything I could ever dream of and my hair looks the best it has ever looked! Throughout my appointment, I was shocked at the beautiful cuts and colors that left each stylists chair. It was obvious that every stylist knew exactly what they were doing and did a good job at it. I was greeted with warm smiles every direction I turned and had many heart felt conversations with the employees. I loved my experience so much that I chose to book my future visits for the rest of the year (They even gave me a bonus for doing so. So neat!) I will be recommending this salon to every friend I know! My advice for new customers or anyone interested in giving this salon a shot = ignore the petty comments and book an appointment. You will not be sorry!!!!!!

I recently moved to the Raleigh area and was in search of a great hairdresser and hair salon. I came across EA Wells in a google search and came across Abbey, who seemed to do awesome work on blondes. I’m always a little nervous letting someone new deal with my hair - but I’m so glad I went with this salon and Abbey!Abbey was awesome. She took her time and ensured my hair was just how I wanted! She really did a great job. The rest of the team there were great too! Super friendly and accommodating.My hair did cost a quite a bit more than what I used to pay elsewhere, but for me I’ll pay a good amount to make sure my hair is done right and we’ll!I’d recommend this place to anyone!

After moving to Raleigh from Indianapolis, I wanted to find a salon providing quality service with organic products. EA Wells has exceeded my expectations. The level of customer service is white glove. For example, last summer I received a Keratin straightening treatment that was disappointing. After letting them know , I was offered another treatment free of charge. The second treatment worked beautifully. I continue to be impressed by the quality of care at EA Wells.

My experience at this salon was amazing. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and how welcoming it felt from the first time I walked in there. Michelle was professional, inviting and friendly. She listened to what I wanted and also paid attention to what complemented my face and the specific needs of my hair type and texture. I will definitely be a return customer.

If youre looking for a polished salon with a great atmosphere, well-known hair products, and decently hospitable staff, then this isnt your place. Basically a glorified Great Clips with luxury salon prices. I followed my long-time stylist here and was VERY happy when she decided to leave. I also would appreciate being removed off of their email list. $30 off our next 3 appointments isnt going to bring any of Katies clients back.

I always feel welcome. Melissa always know what to do to adjust my cut as needed. I always get a great cut and leave feeling good about my cut. As well they are always doing fun events at this salon. Never a dull moment!

I decided to come back to e a wells design after I got notification that the stylist I was seeing previously left. I felt it was time to give this salon another try as my first experiences with the previous employee were not good. I had a facial and brow shape wax with Caitlin for the promotion of September. For $30 dollar facial, this is a very nice facial. I am honestly so impressed on how Caitlin did my eye brows, everything about them is just perfect. A big thing for me is that there was no redness or irritation after the fact. The facial was relaxing and she included hand massage which was nice. Overall very pleased about my first time here, great atmosphere, everyone is really friendly. I will probably become a regular with Caitlin for my eye brows haha! Definitely will go back and may try more of their offerings.

I’ve been coming to this salon for almost 3 years now and have always been super pleased with the work done. Unfortunately, this last visit I was not so impressed. My haircut was completely uneven and the coloring was not at all what I had asked for. For charging such high prices you would think that it’d be a higher quality of service. The owner did have me come in to fix the haircut and coloring but tried to tell me that somehow a completely uneven haircut (when I said I just wanted it straight across and one length) was a miscommunication?? It wasn’t layers or anything put in, just a bad haircut. I was also told the during the whole redo service that the picture I showed her (a balayage I had done the last time I was there) was the same as what I had. They looked nothing alike. I felt like I was just being talked down to the entire time. At the end, I just left without getting what I had paid for. Will definitely never be coming back after such a horrible experience.

I don’t even know where to start. Not only were they able to fit me in on very short notice, but my girl did an amazing job. As a dark brunette who had never had a balayage before, I was extremely nervous. However, I found my new go-to hair salon. The girls are extremely welcoming, kind, talented, and just rockstars. Caitlin did an amazing job. I can’t wait to go back!

So I used a Groupon here, my advice... spend the money and get someone with more experience if you go here. My appointment was at 10:30 and I didnt get out until 3:23. I got a cut with partial highlights. The girl who did my hair was extremely nice but obviously just did not have the experience, I cant even get a wide comb through my hair now and its different colors from where she started and where she ended because it was left on so long and some areas and taken out very shortly when she finished. I even bought the organic shampoo, which leaves my hair feeling like wire even more so than being over-processed.

Abby is amazing. Quality stylists and staff that treat you like royalty. I always leave feeling and looking better.

She is incredibly talented for such a young stylist: phenomenal at foils, personable, perceptive, and professional. I couldnt be more thrilled with the outcome!The salon environment is calm and clean, and the other stylists seem professional and on point as well. You really cant go wrong in this salon!

I had a recent haircut and highlights with Gabby and hated everything as the highlights were uneven and layers were choppy. Spent 5 hours of my life and money. I asked the master stylist Melissa flower to look at everything. she did not do much even though I mentioned that my layers are not blending. Again I email to follow up as how can this be fixed. Asked to do another consultation and I shared concern as what will change with second consultation with same person. She did not like raising my voice and Instead of finding the issue she emailed as Thank you for trusting my judgement of your layers and hair style. I take pride in my experience and expertise in the hair industry. On that note, my team and I have done everything in our power to mend what you feel was done incorrectly in order to achieve the look you desired. Unfortunately, at this point we can no longer correct what you are unsatisfied with and per company policy, we cannot offer you a refund on the services rendered. If you would like us to refer you to another salon we will be more than happy to do so, but at this time EA Wells cannot provide you with any further or continued services. I hope you understand my position as a business owner and stylist. Again, please let me know if you would like a referral to another salon. As per my experience they do not want to hear truth and would like someone else to fix their mess. Very unprofessional and unethical.

What an incredible experience at EA Wells recently !!!! Yes, I did use a groupon and was lucky enough to get Caitlin. This was my second visit and even more enjoyable than the first . Upon entering I was offered a beverage or chocolate cookie . Then promptly seated..Caitlin is very personable and interesting to chat with...while processing I was given ear wraps to protect my glasses...so cool...and relaxed in the massage chair ...I also loved the cold eye mask at the end ...Honestly a spa visit...OMG..... the Organic products smell amazing...think Italian orange blossom...no chemical fumes or stinging scalp...My cut is exactly what I asked for and the color is amazing....so shiny...I am relocating soon but plan to return regularly to see Caitlin ...Best salon, best service , best products I have ever experienced..!!!!

Chose this salon because they use organic products. Had highlights and lowlights done to correct a semi-color that didn’t completely fade, even after 8 months. I am really sensitive to chemicals and I couldnt smell any chemical at all whatsoever, until she got right around my face. I didnt even realize I didnt smell anything until I did smell it and then I realized I wasnt smelling anything!The color looks really good! The owner thought I’d still see a good amount of red from the semi-color because the highlights and lowlights wouldn’t cover it all but I don’t think any red is showing through much at all. I was hoping for a tad more highlights and lowlights but overall, the color looks great!

So happy I found this salon! Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. I just moved to the area and have now found my forever salon!

I went there a few weeks ago and used a groupon. I knew that with a Groupon I would get someone that was somewhat new. Although she was nice, when I asked if she was comfortable with giving me bangs she said yes, but she obviously was not the case. I showed her a picture, but instead of doing that she did her own thing, and they were very uneven and a lot shorter than I asked for. After a few weeks I figured they would grow out enough where they may look better, but now you can see just how uneven they are. I would definitely recommend not using a Groupon and just getting someone more experienced.

Terrible. Used a groupon and should have never risked it. No clue how to handle a pixie cut. Had to go and get it fixed today, but they ruined my hair in certain areas where there was no recovery. Worst hair cut of my life.

Nobody is perfect, we all have bad days, so I hv a three chance policy, after which you either strike out or its a hit. Moved from Chicago in 2014 & and the only stylist I found here that I liked was way too far; I was back on the market.Im not high maintenance, but I want to like my hair when I leave a salon. My hair had been crying for help for months, so after work one day, on impulse I just found a Groupon for cut & style in the area and called for an opening. EA Wells had a same day appointment so I took it & prayed for the best.I was assigned to Caitlin, she was super sweet. I very broadly gave her an idea of what I wanted hoping she was professional enough to read my mind!! ... I dont know how she figured it out, but it was EXACTLY what I wanted! I LOVED it! Set my second appt, that same day. Six weeks later, I left the salon smiling again, so set my third & determining appt. Six weeks later today, I once again leave the salon feeling relaxed, pampered, and LOVING my hair!Caitlin is my homerun. Im so glad I found this salon & Caitlin. Everyone is super friendly, down to earth & accommodating, and Im just so happy & pleased to call myself their client.
