Terrible experience and unprofessional staff. I went in the evening, the staff was gossiping the entire time I was there and my hairdresser was very rude. I expressed I was unhappy with my hair and she became very defensive and aggressive. She didn’t speak to me at all after that and it was very uncomfortable. A few days later I called the salon so upset about my hair and they couldn’t get me in until the next week to fix it. The salon educator had to be present to direct my stylist on how to correct it. The educator ended up leaving half way through and my stylists went back to being defensive and uncomfortable. When I left she stated “I hope you can find a stylist who will put up with you”. My hair was still messed up and further damaged after my “correction”. I lucky found a salon in Brier creek who was able to fix it in one session. I will never go back to Carmen Carmen and regret ever spending my time and money there.

I have been coming to the salon since last summer and I have only had the best experiences with the staff. The stylist that I usually see is Nicole. She listens to what I want, and always makes it happen. Thank you, Nicole, for your patience in getting me just the right color and style... I get so many compliments on my hair every time!

I cant say enough about Fran on here. I went in wanting to go platinum from layers and layers of dark red box dye. I anticipated several sessions and to have strawberry blonde or light ginger after the first session. Nope. She got me to blonde first go. I am platinum after the second visit. She also does short cuts very well which is rare. It was pricey, yes but on par with other salons offering similar quality services. And well worth it.

This was my first time at an Aveda salon and I LOVED it! I have curly hair and have tried out different salons here and there never really finding my person! I was paired up with Fran! Who rocked my haircut and brought my curls back to life! The front desk is very nice and accommodating and the manager is very informative and sweet! This salon is my new go to!

Hair cut not what I asked for. Needed a change at back for more volume! Ended up with more snipping here and there! With my hair being fine and straight it ended up looking limp with hardly any volume. I asked for a blunt cut! Will never go back, for sure!

Shanna is a true professional and an amazing hairstylist. At 55 I have been contemplating just letting the grey come in and go natural. I stopped by your store and was greeted by Sara a wonderful friendly receptionist that listen to what I wanted to do and had one of the stylist, Shanna, consult with me. Shanna set me down and told me what to expect and that to get what I wanted done was going to be a very drastic look from where I was. She had me do some homework and bring her in the color and cut and we reviewed it thoroughly before we got started. This was a huge step for me and I couldnt have asked for a more considerate, caring stylist than Shanna. Yes my hair is different and it will take awhile to grow use to it. I have gotten so many complements on it and I feel confident that as I allow the grey to come it that it will mix beautifully with the work Shanna did on my hair. I am so appreciative of her time, her attention and her professionalism. Sara and the other stylist in the shop were very supportive as well and that was just the icing on the cake. If you are looking to make a dramatic change to your hair and are scared about the outcome, I would strongly recommend calling Carmen Carmen and asking for Shanna.

Stop by for a hair and blow and Natresha did a fantastic job. She educated me on products and how to use them. Would recommend and would come again! Happy with results!

Nicole was absolutely lovely and both my cut and color are beautiful. Even my husband commented on how natural the color looks. He sees Jebbie and thinks she is awesome. Overall fantastic experience!

I had already been at the salon 3 times and though I thought it was pricy, I was happy with the highlights. However, I called in one day to schedule and appointment and when I got there they cancelled on me on that same moment. They claimed they had called and left a message in my mailbox, but it wasnt true, they didnt offer a solution, nor apologized for not having tried harder to contact me to reschedule. I had made arrangements that day to go to that appointment and I lost my time miserably going to the mall to meet with them.The person at the front desk didnt care at all, could not handle the situation professionally. I expected more from a salon that calls itself prestige salon and that has those prices. At least an apology, which I did not even receive. They tried to blame it on me for not having picked up the phone the day before.

I was there yesterday.I went in very excited to color my hair back to my natural color and to have a haircutAfter the hair stylist applied the color She left the store and took a while to comeback, when she came back she started helping someone else and I was left with the color for a really long time, she asked someone else to wash my hair and after she finished washing my hair they left me sitting there again for so long that my neck was hurting.When she finished with the other customer she came back to help me.The color turn out extremely dark not my natural color and the cut did not give the volume I was looking for..My experience was not very pleasant at all and the results made me very unhappy.
