I first saw Dr. Hightower over a year ago when my back went out on me. I could hardly walk and couldnt stand upright. He listened to my problem and treated me over the course of a couple weeks and got me back to normal. Each visit saw much improvement in my condition.I have recently had to use his services again and within 2 visits he had me just about back to normal. I love Midtown Chiropractic. I read so many great things about both doctors, but ultimately chose Dr. Tyler as his hours met my needs. I am so pleased with Dr. Tyler. I had been seeing another Chiropractor in Cary, but since I moved here I didnt want to keep driving out to Cary for a Chiropractor that I felt was only okay and wasnt even in-network. I have a c2/c3 fusion in my neck and what most impressed me is during my first visit he refused to adjust my neck without seeing scans. Makes sense right?! Well my old Chiropractor never saw my scans and took me at my word. But Dr. Tyler was like no, Im not going to blindly do work on your body that could cause you more harm. And so he ordered scans for me. He still did some things for me like a mini massage and stretches, as well as electronic stimulation and that helped me along until my next visit. After my scans came back he took the time to review them with me and explain in detail everything from how its all connected and what he is going to do to help ease my pain. I also love the way he adjusts my neck. If youre like me you get apprehensive when your neck is being adjusted, but he does it while you are face down so I dont see it coming. Therefore, I am more relaxed which makes for an easier and better adjustment. He really is the best, great person and great doctor!

Midtown Chiropractic has changed my life!! About six months ago, I got hit with a horrible bout of vertigo. Since traditional medicine had been unsuccessful, I decided to try acupuncture with Dr. Hightower. I called while I was having an attack and they got me in within the hour. When I arrived the room was spinning and I was incredibly nauseous. Within five minutes of the needles being placed, I felt instant relief! Symptoms gone. I went for a few additional follow-up visits and that’s when I also started receiving chiropractic care under Dr. Hightower as well. He began addressing the pain I’ve been in for years and I finally started seeing relief! I’m talking pain free days with no medication. When I started working with Dr. Hightower I was walking with a cane and had almost zero range of motion in my spine. I am now in probably the best condition and overall health Ive been in maybe 20 years, I am fully mobile, back in the gym, and training for a Mud Run in 2019! I could not have achieved any of this without the good Doctors work. UPDATE October 2019: I have run several 5Ks recently, and am training for a half-marathon in December. I went into it not expecting much based on how bad my back and leg were hurting. It would get to the point sometimes that it would feel like there was blood or some hot liquid running down my leg, and my leg and lower back would quiver from the pain. But!, with just one visit the sharpness of the pain was gone. The pain was still there, but only the dull lingering pain. Not the very sharp pain. What a wonderful suprise my experience was. I am going to be going back a few times to take care of the lingering pain again, and just wanted share my experience!

Ive had back pain for years and it was becoming more and more debilitating. After seeking a variety of treatments over the years with little to no help, I was feeling hopeless. A friend recommended Midtown Chiropractic and Im forever grateful. Dr. LaRocco has finally gotten me on a path of being pain free. I appreciate his holistic approach to wellness and ability to take all of lifes components into account. Everyone in the office is warm and welcoming and scheduling is a breeze!

Very disappointed in how I was billed. My insurance co pay for a chiropractor is $40. They charged me $70, which is the co pay for a specialist under my insurance. I contacted my insurance and they said it should be $40 and they would talk to the billing staff if necessary. Contacted the billing staff and they refused helping me and refunding the difference and stated that many patients pay a $70 co pay. In my opinion, that doesnt make it okay. Come to find out, without insurance, the cost of a visit is only $60. Doesnt make any sense to me. However, Im giving two stars because the chiropractor did an excellent job adjusting my back and helping me just not happy paying double what I should have paid and $10 more than I would have paid if I didnt have insurance.

My mom and I were lucky enough to find Dr. Hightower about 18 years ago when I was still just a high school student and competitive cheerleader, and I can confidently say that if it werent for him, there would have been many days where I couldnt have gotten out of bed because of severe lower back pain. His chiropractic experience, healing hands and positive energy have been a constant in my life for nearly two decades and I couldnt be more grateful for him (and Crystal & Tracey). Dr. Hightower is the most skilled Chiropractor working in the Triangle today. One of my children, who plays Division 1 basketball for UNC, suffered from chronic back pain after an on-court injury. Despite fine care from the UNC medical team, the pain and lack of mobility persisted. On referral and after a course of several treatments from Dr. Hightower: full recovery.Highly recommended.

I am pretty active person; long distance running, triathlons, and endurance events with Special Forces and other team members. I am also getting older (dont we all). A week ago I had to go to the ER with what I thought were kidney stones, and ended up being a bulging disk. I never experienced this pain and the Hospital already spoke of surgery and tried to prescribe Pain meds. I refused and went to Doc H (aka Witchdoctor which is what my wife and I call him). Doctor Hightower and his team took fantastic care of me, and I am up walking, lifting, and riding again a week later after 3 sessions. With some follow ups I am hoping to be back at 100% within two weeks. THANK YOU!!!!

As a massage therapist, no matter how we try to avoid an incorrected posture from our practice. We will still have some issues from work. Such as carpal tunnel, neck/ shoulder and lower back issue. Visited Midtown Chiropractic due to a very painful lower back problem. Dr. Hightower not only resolved that issue, but also fixed a neck problem that I did not even realize that I had! Truly exceptional in every way. Dr. Hightower and all the staff are outstanding in offering therapies that work. After going to at least 4 other chiropractic offices in the Raleigh area, Dr. Hightowers office is far and away the most helpful and effective. His office is also on the cutting edge of offering laser therapy similar to what Harvard/MIT are providing and researching through their Wellman Center for Photomedicine. Additionally, Dr. Hightower takes many insurances and pricing for some therapies that may not be covered is far more economical than other offices I have contacted.

I first went to Dr. Hightower 23 years ago. I had never been to a chiropractor, and I was also pregnant at the time, so I was very nervous. He made me feel very comfortable, and he explained everything he was doing. He helped me tremendously at the time with hip and lower back pain. I have been to a few other chiropractors on and off throughout the years, however none have been able to kelp me like Dr. Hightower. I only trust Dr. Hightower with my chiropractic care, that I am willing to travel 45 minutes to get treatment.
