Showed up at the walk in clinic at 1135 am was turned away and told the doctor wouldn’t see us because they close at 12pm and they have just seen to many people, is what the receptionist said. I asked her to please ask the doctor so we didn’t have to make an ER trip. She left for a moment then came back and said sorry he won’t see you. I don’t know even she really even asked anyone. Please tell me how that makes any sense. If you have no intentions of seeing a patient past a certain time then change your hours! Or post something online!

Stay away from Dr. Mary Cyr. 30 mins on hold to get a reception to make appointment. 3 1/2 weeks until appointment. Then zero compassion or listening when I had my appointment from doctor. Very disturbing...

I have a patient here for a few years now and have always had a good experience. Staff are friendly and appointments are easy to get. They are have an easy walk in clinic on the bottom floor. My provider listens to me - I feel like we are a team! I am totally satisfied. No complaints.

My daughter got a written prescription that was written for the wrong dose. I brought it back to the office and explained that it was the wrong dose and we needed a new one written with the correct dose. This is a medicine that my daughter needs. I have been calling twice a day to see if the corrected one is ready to be picked up and its not ready. It is now a week later and still no prescription. They keep saying it will be ready later in the day and they will call me when it is ready. I have not received any calls to say it is ready for pickup. To top it off I have been spending approximately two hours each day on the phone only to be lied to.What is people suppose to do when they have to rely on these meds and they cant get them? It is very frustrating.

Walk in clinic is a joke. An hour and 30 minutes to them means you wait all day. The receptionist was nice, but told us she would send us a link to see where we were in line, and it never happened, even after asking about it 2 times. She seemed over worked. So If your planning on going to the walk in clinic, go in the morning and plan on reserving your entire day to be seen, if youre lucky.

Beyond horrible experience. They don’t uphold there appointment times and I had to wait nearly two hours. In addition to that, the doctor I had was rude and short. I would recommend someone go to a different medical practice if they want to be treated with respect.

I have been going to SFM for many years. Other than when needing to go into the walk in clinic I have seen the same doctor Dr Daniel Wells and have always been very happy. I went in for a procedure in which several hours later rather than receiving after care instructions I received a letter through their portal saying I was no longer welcome there. No explanation why, no offering to pair me with a different doctor nothing. When I contacted the patient care advocate she stated this was out of line for protocol as well. I tried contacting Dr Daniel Wells and he would not speak with me. I would think that after that many years someone could at least give me an explanation. Upon reading the other reviews I can see I am not the only person this has happened with.If you are looking for a long term medical facility you may want to think carefully about going to this place. Dr. Wells is part owner and evidently they like to dismiss their patients with no explanation. It is unfortunate because I also appreciated the convenience and expertise of several of the doctors in the walk in clinic.

Front desk people are next very nice. They get very rude if you ask questions. I was placed on hold while I was still talking without even being told I was going to be out on hold and both the front desk ladies I spoke too (especially Vicky) was snappy and pretty rude. I don’t think any patient asking questions should be treated that was. Not a fan of this clinic or their staff.

Im really happy and grateful that I have Dr. Stout as my Primary Care Physician, and happy and grateful to know and to have each and every member of Dr. Stouts Staff taking care of me. Their testing tents are not clearly marked as they have three different white tents. They do not have the number posted to call so they expect someone who has symptoms to walk to the walkin clinic door to get the number to call.Someone apparently parked under the tent I was supposed to park under and then after calling the main appointment line for ten plus minutes had to wait until the people who jacked my spot in front of me got theirs done.The administration for these clinics do things so illogically. Mark your tents better and post the number in the tents.

Called this morning concerning a new patient appointment and was scheduled out a bit due to the doctor I wanted. The receptionist I spoke with encouraged me to see the urgent clinic as the wound needed to be dealt with prior to the march appointment. The urgent care was quick, efficient, great bedside manor, clean and really loved how well they worked together.

Just dont! Billing issues, staff that look unhappy to be there or dont remember you even if youre a long time patient, not to mention they will send you out after a procedure with no aftercare instructions. Extremely long wait times if youre trying to call in. The SFM portal rarely works correctly for messaging and its unclear who youre corresponding with. Also it is a private practice, Dr. Wells is one of the owners. He doesnt like confrontation so he will send you a letter stating you are no longer welcome there with no explanation as to why. Upon looking back at these reviews it appears Im not the only person this has happened to. Avoid private practices, years of being a loyal patient means nothing to them.

I brought my son to see Dr Smith and was very unhappy with how he handled the situation. He accused me of being hostile and I could leave... keep in mind, he looked at a computer screen from an ER visit and didn’t even touch my son or do a follow up.The only reason I rated this 3 stars is because Hared Rapier is our primary for our whole family and I know he would have NEVER handled it this way. Jared is amazing and very trustworthy. So he saved this review. (He had no appts today to see us)

Bradley Smith is my provider, he listens to what I have to say and offers options if there are any and doesnt just try to tell me what I need, he understand and respects the fact that I know my body and is willing to discuss options rather than just telling me what I need to do...he treats me like a human being and not just a patient.

I have used sound family medicine for years, and have never had a bad experience with them until now. I was diagnosed with a large hemorrhagic ovarian cyst in an ER and told to go to by doctor if I had any bleeding. I recently moved to a different area over an hour away, and my doctor in that area wasnt able to get me in for over 2 weeks, so I called sound family medicine and explained the situation. They got me an appointment for the same day to make sure Im not bleeding internally. I drove the hour to the facility, started checking in, and they told me they wouldnt see me because they no longer take my insurance. I explained that I need to be seen immediately because Im bleeding, and asked if they could send me a paper bill and I would sort out insurance later. The receptionist told me no, and that I can have an appointment in a few days. By that point I could be hemorrhaging and not know it. So qn hour wasted in extreme pain to get help, and I was turned away at the door. If I get a bill for a missed appointment fee, I will never use Sound Family Medicine again. They had my insurance on file, and at no point was I informed that my insurance would no longer be accepted. Now to go to an ER and pay the copays and bill for that, just to make sure Im not internally bleeding and to be referred to my doctor. Again.

I have been a patient at Sound Family Medicine for many years now. Dr. Wells has always taken great care of me. He is very honest and forthright with me and I appreciate that from a doctor. The clinical staff has always been accommodating and polite. Medical assistant Lisa has always done a great job with my intake and through the appointment. When calling with questions or for an appointment Nancy has always been very efficient and polite while dealing with me. These may sound like little things but in today’s environment customer service goes along way.I would highly recommend sound family medicine to anybody who is looking for a clinic who will take care of them for many years to come.

I was seen by PA Adriana Zamora and she was EXTREMELY rude and dismissive. If you want to be talked down to not listens then go to this lady. She told me to put ice on my arthritis and when I told her that ice made the pain 10x worse she did not care. She did not even look at me and started diagnosing me only on what I was telling her. She looked and acted like she did not want to be there at all. Don’t go to her!!!!

I was one of those folks who didnt go to the doctor. I met some staff members at a local run for breast cancer and decided to take a chance. Thanks to the gentle care of Tricia Streeter, I am now getting regular physical exams and enjoying good health. Thanks to Dr. Wells and his clinical staff, I am taking steps to improve my health even more by following his advice in the areas of exercise, diet, and vaccinations. This is my third year and it keeps getting better.

To say that I’m frustrated with the quality of care at Sound Family Medicine (specifically Hartland) would be an understatement. For starters, I can’t even count any more how many providers I have seen that are there for a short period of time and then leave. I don’t know if it’s a clinic thing or a string of several years of bad luck. Most recently, my provider refused to refill a prescription without me coming in, despite the fact that she prescribed this medication to me previously. So I made an appointment which they then called to cancel on me. The very next thing I hear was a letter that stated that she had left the practice - and the letter came after she was gone. Great. So I called to schedule with a new provider, was told they were accepting patients and made my appointment a few weeks out. Fast forward to visit day - I’m told by the nurse that this doctor ISN’T accepting new patients and would only be able to see me today but I would have to establish care with a new provider. What a waste of my time. Next available appointment for a doctor that IS open for new patients is end of June. I’ve now lost at least 2 months of my time. Coordination of care with SFM is an absolute nightmare. I am now relying on a specialty doctor to manage a prescription that she prescribed only because of the lack of support from my PCP and SFM. Needless to say, I am done. I will not return to Sound and would recommend that you think hard before you do. Whatever you do, DON’T get attached to a provider, and expect “miscommunication” and lost time in abundance.

First time using Urgent Care at this facility.Screened promptly via telephone (ref. Covid). Waited briefly in vehicle prior to being called in.Pleasant staff. Knowledgeable & caring.Seen in timely manner. Assessed, diagnosed, reviewed plan of care and released in appx 40 minutes.Very pleased with ease of screening process, short wait time, knowledgeable Providers. I truly appreciate the wonderful & caring staff in my urgent time of need.Would use this clinic again, recommend highly. Thank you!

I called to schedule an appointment due to having covid symptoms. They were booked up at all locations. The receptionist got me a same day telemedicine appointment on hold to be worked in. I was seen within 45 minutes and was scheduled same day for testing. Everyone was so caring and professional. I have always received amazing care here and I highly recommend them to anyone!!

I’ve had 2 appointments here and will NOT be making another. The first was a new patient and everything felt very rushed. I was not asked if all my demographics were correct nor did anyone ask if I had any medication allergies. I needed a few refills, most of them were not filled correctly. Lab results were only posted to the portal. My second appointment I waited an hour to see the doctor for about 15 minutes. I spent almost 2 hours at the office total. Was only prescribed meds and didn’t really feel listened to. The front desk staff can be very short/cold and leave the chairs as soon as I have been checked in. Medical assistants also felt very rushed and unsure of medications. Overall, none of it has been a good experience.

I recently had to go to this walk in site with a serious shoulder injury. Everyone, was very kind professional and efficient. What impressed me most was the safety system they had on place to protect every one from the threat of covid. I never once was in the vicinity of ano her human being except for the doctor and staff who were also masked up and distanced. Best experience Ive ever had at e walk in facility.

SUPER happy with my care recently at the walk-in clinic. During these COVID-19 times, theyve got their stuff together. Wait in car, call desk for appointment, get call back only a few short minutes later. Then they help you however you need. Very impressed with the quality and timeliness of the service. I needed to find a new primary doctor due to an insurance change which was not ideal timing because of covid, but sound family medicine made it a smooth transition. I had been with my previous doctor for many years so I was able to transfer over my medical records and they were prepared for my initial visit. Because Id had a slight fever, they conducted my appointment through the phone and the doctor came out to my vehicle. The doctor was incredibly professional and attentive. I have a pretty complicated and extensive medical history and I was surprised at how receptive and prepared she was.

I really appreciate Dr. Vladimir and her staff at Sound Family Medicine in Puyallup. Dr. Vladimir never seems to be in a hurry during my visits. She is always patient and takes her time in determining what is best for me. I also appreciate Danielle, her assistant. She makes sure all of my vitals signs are in line and up to date. I feel as though Im in good hands with Dr. Vladimir and her team. Also, having availability to the weekend emergency clinic is a real benefit. I went in on Saturday for a hearing emergency and got successfully treated within 20 minutes by a welcoming and efficient staff!

Safety is the first thing run into when you walk into the the clinic, there is someone there to take your temperature and ask you all covid questions very pretty lady I might add and then if you get passed her,they warmly invite you to the check in counter where there is some paper work to fill out before you can see a doctor. Every one was very nice and polite.

I have been with SFM for 20 years or so and the staff has always been respectful and caring. I recently had facial surgery for cancer and it was hard to accept the physical changes as a result. I was having serious issues and had a telemed appointment with Dr Marc Aversa. I was very impressed that Dr Aversa had research my recent surgery, tests, etc. and was prepared to discuss my issues. It was a good 30 minute session and helped me immensely to talk through issues that you could only discuss with your doctor. Very impressive and productive.

Edit (January 2021): Unfortunately weve continued to have issues (appointments being canceled on their end multiple times with very short notice and rescheduling several weeks out). Now its feeling like poor patient care rather than just an inconvenience. Very disappointing because we really do love the staff here.First of all, I LOVE our doctor and the staff at the 10th street location. But since COVID started I have to say that SFM has lost a lot of my confidence. COVID testing turnaround time takes much longer here than at other facilities, and my family has dealt with numerous prescription errors which caused us to have to receive medication several days late. I know were in a pandemic, but its still disappointing and frustrating. I used to defend them when I heard complaints (Ive heard a lot, from other patients, pharmacy staff, medical providers) - but now I understand where theyre coming from.

This place has terrible service, i was trying to get a life saving medicine as a type one diabetic and they had no problem with making me wait for almost a month to get any insulin. After calling to complain all i got was an okay then the receptionist hung up on me, after setting me up for an appointment at the wrong location. Wouldnt reccomend at all as they dont care about their patients even if they need a life saving medication only aquirable with perscription, save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. The service is absolute garbage.

So Dr Wells is my primary but I can never get in to see him.I made an appointment with another physician of theirs, Dr Vladimir, due to Dr Wells schedule.My reason for the visit was to sue pain in the lower left flank of my back that I’ve had for quite some time. I’ll know it wasn’t due to any physical strain and informed her of this. She had me move in multiple ways to ensure it wasn’t a physical strain that is causing the pain. After all that she said in giving you a referral for physical therapy. And to take ibuprofen for the pain to which I informed her that I take Alleve daily for arthritis in my knee and it does nothing for my back.I also asked her for a referral to a cardiologist due to concerns I have over plaque build up in my arteries, guess what? Didn’t get the referral to a cardiologist either.All in all waste of time, which I don’t have much of due to my schedule.Oh and final thing was I was told I should really try and book my appointment further out with Dr Wells.By the way I had no problems with her assistant or the rest of the staff. Very nice and professional. And I’ve been there on the weekend, their urgent care (?) which treatment was great also.

Staff, nurses and Doctors are quite welcoming and they try their best to stay on schedule, but hardly ever happens. Each visit I make all my questions are answered and the follow up with prescriptions and tests is very good. Their site for messaging and records is kept accurate and the follow up with messaging is very effective with a fast response.

This is the last time I will visit this clinic. I come here because its so difficult to get an appointment with a new PCP, but each time I come here I end up waiting 2+ hours (at least an hour in the wiring room and then usually another hour once Im in an exam room) for a doctor to stick a stethoscope on my back for all of 10 seconds and tell me Im fine. Not a single test run, just a come back if your symptoms persist for longer than three (3!!!) weeks.Im sure theyll still charge me $300 for it though.

This is a fantastic group of medical professionals. My wife and I have trusted them with our personal care and our 18 month old sons care since we moved here from Texas 3 years ago. The entire medical team is knowledgeable and operate very efficiently while also taking the time to communicate their decisions for making referrals or providing medications. I have been going here for several years now, mostly to the regular doctor (Jennifer Pence), but several times to the walk in clinic. The doctors are all super and are very attentive and helpful, even when walking in. The phone systems used to be quite unwieldy and wait times were bad, but now you get an attendant almost as soon as you call. An amazing improvement!

I hadnt went to a Dr in a long time and found Sound Family - met a PCP two months ago for an overall visit. It went great so I thought Id stick with that office. I called that office with a concern of mine and they told me I should go to the walk in clinic to be seen, so I did. I was not pleased with the visit at all. There were about 3 people in front of me when I arrived in the lobby, paid a higher amount than I was thinking it would be but fine. The board behind the reception desk said an approximate 15 min wait. I waited for an hour. Once with the Dr it was like why am I even here, just really disappointing. Especially after paying such a high amount then he sends for Xrays at an office 12 min away. The Xray tech says the Dr will call me in 24 hours to go over results, good or bad. No call - so I call the clinic. Im told it can take up to 48 hours for the Dr or an Assistant to call. Still no call. I wont go back to the walk in clinic for sure but probably going to find another PCP too.

Dr. Pense is amazing! I literally wouldnt trust my life and my health with any other provider. She always goes above and beyond to make me feel cared for. She took care of me my entire pregnancy and delivered my baby boy! I decided to keep her as my PCP because I have never had a doctor like her. She goes out of her way to take care of her patients and truly cares. I highly recommend her for your OB, pediatric and other health care needs!

During my annual physical I required a blood draw. The medical assistant (I believe her name is Destiny) preformed the procedure on me and in my past experiences—different offices not SFM—I’ve had been told I have hard to find veins, my veins roll etc and always experience a lot of pain and bruising and multiple stabs in attempt to find a viable vein. Destiny was beyond exceptional. It was so fast and I LITERALLY did not feel the jab. It was completely painless and on the first attempt. I am blown away at her level of expertise.

I will actually begin research monday regarding taking legal action against this clinic. Not once has this clinic EVER communicated clear billing processes with me and when I chose to change OBGYNs (because of the lack of communication) at 6months pregnant, this office WOULD NOT release MY medical records. My new OBGYNs office sent in at least 3 different requests for those records and I called and left several messages, all with ZERO response from Sound Family Medicine. Now, it is June 2020, in the middle of a pandemic, and Im getting a collections bill over a SFM bill that was never sent to me! I left SFM in June of 2018. Please, unless you can afford to get yanked around and charged for years, PLEASE do not waste your time nor your health at Sound Family Medicine.

My experience with the front desk, assistants, and my Dr are totally and completely positive. Everyone is so friendly, so competent, and bedside manners are terrific. I love my Dr. She listens carefully, is open and honest, and remembers who i am and what my history is. I feel like a part of the family when Im there .

My Doctor is in the sunrise campus but I go here for urgent things. I love that they see pregnant women makes it a lot easier than going to Labor and Delivery.Ive always been seen quickly & Doctors always seem to be helpful and care.Id recommend them to anyone along with Dr Blackburn at the sunrise office.

All of the Doctors at Sound Family medicine feel like family. Our physician is Dr. Marc Aversa. He is very friendly, patient and understanding. Even if you havent seen him in over a year he will asks for updates on how the event in your life was going (as in school for example). Very knowledgable. The staff are friendly and his assistant, Heather is very sweet and comforting and supportive. They make a great team. I never feel rushed. I always feel well taken care of. If I could give 6 stars I would!

I see Ericka Gilson and because of her listening and wanting to help, I am on my way to getting back to good health. The staff here listen to their patients and talk to them not at them.

I had the worst experience at my most recent visit. Dr Vladimir couldnt find my most recent labs in my records. She kept insisting that I hadnt had them done since 2016. I kept telling her I had them done more recently and it was like she didnt believe me and kept showing me her computer screen like I was supposed to show her where they were. She was very condescending. I went home and found the labs on the portal. Im not sure why she couldnt find them. I also had blood taken that day. The needle slipped out of my arm and the nurse had to poke it back in, which was painful. Then when she was all done we noticed I had bled all over the table and the floor. She apologized and I knew it was an accident but an accident that shouldnt have happened. After this whole experience I received a phone call the next day and was told my blood would have to be drawn again because the blood wasnt put in the centrifuge in time. Needless to say, I will not see Dr Vladimir again and may find a new doctors office.

Sound Family Medicines walk in clinic is fabulous. Ive unfortunately had to use it for medical issues several times this year. They are always kind, considerate and helpful. Most importantly they are fast. I think the longest Ive ever waited to see someone is 10 minutes. Plus, if you dont have insurance they are very inexpensive. Contrast this to an Urgent Care facility I just experienced in Reno. Their minimum charge was $210 and I waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes. I had 4 people ahead of me and only one was called in. I left and visited Sound Family Medicine when I got home. I arrived 20 minutes before they closed on a Saturday and I waited only 5 minutes in the waiting room. Everyone was friendly and I have never heard the staff make disparaging remarks. I cant say enough good about them.

Do NOT go here. They refused to see me when I had a fever of 102 because according to thrn I had an outstanding bill. Their billing department was closed so I wasnt even able to pay it They turned me away in pain and very ill. Its less about patient care and more about money with this practice.
