Unwilling to work with me and order the tests i needed to keep me out of the ER after receiving abnormal test results that are time sensitive. Ive also had to cancel two appts with a specialist because the referral department dropped the ball and didnt send the referral in for two months. Better care can be found elsewhere.

I was hesitant to come back here after a somewhat sour experience I had several years ago, but they are the best at accommodating schedules in post falls and even have same-day walk ins if you arrive early. My recent appointments with Dr. Ford were phenomenal, and the current staff were very pleasant to deal with.

I am only giving one star because I have to. I am new to Idaho, I moved here to be with my boyfriend. I am DIABETIC and take insulin to maintain a good blood sugar. I found out I was pregnant and decided I needed to find a doctor here to stay on top of it so my baby would be healthy. I get an appointment right away and my doctor pulls me in, my appointment to assess my diabetes was 10 min, and says if YOU call your pharmacy in Wyoming I will fill your meds. I asked many questions about taking my meds and breastfeeding/ how being diabetic would effect my baby. She looks at me and says that is something to ask your obgyn.I call my pharmacy in Wyoming and get the info for post falls family medicine to mess up the proscription. Had to wait over the weekend to be able to take anything. Fast forward to Wednesday of this week. (It is now almost Saturday) I call my pharmacy to get my meds refilled and they tell me they weren’t sent with refills. I call the office and they said I would have to come in for another appointment for my refill. I’ve been waiting days for a call back about an appointment for meds that I have ran out of and they won’t answer my calls. I COULD DIE WITHOUT INSULIN.I’m looking for a new doctors office and looking to take legal action

My husband and I have always had a pleasant experience visiting Post Falls Family Medicine and have seen several providers. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Recently I was in and Mark Martindale went above and beyond exceptional patient care. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. We will continue to go to Post Falls Family Medicine and refer friends and family.

Dont choose this office for PCP if you are young and healthy!I have been going to post falls family medicine since highschool and seen Shawna Spellman and loved her! My husband and children have been seen there as well in the past. Today I called to schedule an appointment with my pcp of nearly 10 years, and was told I could no longer be seen there due to not being seen there in the last three years (Ive had 2 daughters in that time period so was seen by and OBGYN.)Since Im technically considered a new patient having not been seen in 3 years, and am now on medicaid I was told Id need to find a new office. So glad to know the doctors and office staff truly care about their patients of 10 years. What an effing joke.

Very Unfortunate. I needed a refill on my prescription and saw the doctor. They assured me that the medication was sent to the pharmacy. 1, 2, 4, 8, 10 days later I called. they were closed. I left a message with the after hours calling service. they were not able to email them or leave a phone message, but they could fax (?) a written note to ask the doctor to send the prescription to the pharmacy. I called the next day to follow up and they were closed between noon and one. No answering machine, no answering service. I got out of work early at 4 to call again and no answer. I contacted the after hours service and talked to the same lady again and she informed me they were closed at 4. No answering machine, no email, no messages allowed. She said that she would fax again. I have not heard of the word fax since the 90s. At this point I gave up. I have called another practice to set up another appointment to get my prescription refilled. $60 dollar visit useless and wasted. Such a simple task and they could not follow through. Very disappointed. I live and work in this town and very careful about negative reviews but this was simply highly disapointing. I just wish I could have contacted them.

It appears I am not the only unhappy customer. Today, I was notified today by my pharmacist to make an appointment because my provider Brooke Shupley PAC is no longer at the clinic and refills would not be granted per the clinic. I naturally called. The receptionist answered and I started out by explaining that I would like initiate a complaint that I was never notified of this change. She told me it was not their responsibility and screamed at me then hung up. I called back and spoke with another receptionist. She told me there was a new requirement by DEA to have medication follow ups every 6 months and to google it. She also stated they have too many patients to let current patients know when the provider leaves. Calling me by my name when I never told her (obviously I was the talk of the front office). She then hung up on me too after she said she didn’t appreciate my rudeness. I tried to call back and they wouldn’t answer. I then blocked my number and called back, miraculously they answered. I obtained owner and office manager information to make a formal complaint. I will be changing providers. This is unacceptable and incredibly unprofessional behavior. In light of the many changes with COVID-19, it is absolutely their position to provide service and manage their patient load. These people have access to our most sensitive information. Sad!

I don’t recommend this office. We have been their patients for a very long time, but we disappointedly realized that they only want easy money like annual check up, refilling prescription appointments - yes you have to make separate appointments to be seen to refill your prescriptions- etc etc .. They only want something that is easy to deal with. If you want to see your family doctor for something that is a little more complicated, they won’t see you. They want you to go to ER or UC and don’t even care if you have to pay much more or you even really need to go there for a check up. The nurse that we talked to at the office were so rude and did not bother to try to help us. She was like “you go somewhere else for help, we can’t.” We will need to look for another family doctor that is professional, responsible, and reliable to take care of our health. Post Falls Family medicine is a disappointment!

First of all, my wife and I brought our kids here to do a family check up. I kid you not, I look over at the laptop the Dr. was on while my wife was describing her symptoms and he was on WebMD. We got a good laugh from that. Fast forward to this year and I go in and my copay is 40 dollars, clearly marked on my medical card. That said I owed them 20, I told them and showed them that my copay was 40 dollars and wanted to pay the 40 dollars. Instead she insisted that I only had to pay 20, so I paid it. A month later I get a bill for the 20 dollars plus a late fee. What kind of scam are these people running here? After going in to see the practitioner because the Dr. was not available for a week, I was going through my symptoms and I was told my appointment is only for 15 minutes and would have to choose which Id like to look into first and would need to reschedule another visit to have a EKG done. We will NOT ever step foot in this place again, there are way better places right around the corner. I would highly recommend to anyone to avoid these Dr.s. If a 0 star option was available Id choose that.

Well I’ve been going here for years and always loved my practitioner, however about a month ago I went in to my surprise she no longer worked there and a new gal did, I was ok with it at first but then i realized she could care less about any of the concerns that I came forward with and was beating around the bush basically saying I was going to sell the medication I needed a refill on because in her hometown that’s what people did. Now I get it people do that but when you can clearly see that I’ve been taking something for 3 years and needed a refill because the dr who originally had prescribed me is NO LONGER IN THE OFFICE, I was expecting to get it refilled. Well she shot that down told me I needed a referral to another doctor to make sure that I’m taking these because I actually have the health issue. Never got the referral called back twice and gave up. Well while I was also at this visit I had another concern and she basically swept it under the table and left. I’ve never felt so unheard from my dr before and she kept asking “do you really need the medication” yes actually I do. It’s the only thing that has helped me and will continue to help me. She then tried to prescribe me a different medication I stopped taking when I was 16. Why would I want something that you can clearly see I haven’t taken for 6 years!???? She treated me as if I was stupid and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I hope that she can take the time to reflect on what she said because I walked out feeling like I was some drug addict BECAUSE OF M MENTAL HEALTH. Don’t come here if you have mental health problems, they’ll just sweep it under the rug and pretend you weren’t even there. On top of it I waited for almost an hour for her to finally come into my room.

Despite the negative reviews, I decided to give this office a try. I was concerned I had Strep throat. I woke up early, researched local doctors and they were the only office open before 8am. I printed the paperwork from their website, very user friendly. No appointment, I walked in at 7am, luckily they had an opening to work me in🎉. I was warmly greeted by Natalie at the front. Very clean office and professional staff 👌Renee was my nurse and very gentle. My exam room had beautiful quilts on the walls. 💝 Dr. Christopher Billingslea diagnosed I had a cold virus. Sent me home with a work release and encouraged me to stay home, push fluids and rest. I was amazingly better in 3 days. Thank you! I do not have insurance and they offer a 30% discount on their fees, very generous.FYI to negative reviews:. Your insurance DOESNT determine or diagnose what you need. Your doctor does. Antibiotics dont help if its a virus. Offices can charge additional fees even if your insurance doesnt cover things. Insurance is a benefit, and a contract between you and your policy. Doctors file as a courtesy to you. 👍

I went in for my annual physical and requested blood labs to check my cholesterol, testosterone, thyroid, iron, etc. Was just feeling sluggish, no energy, and getting fat. Week later my lab results were mailed to me at my house. I looked them over and they appeared I may need some treatment. I waited a week for a call from the office, nothing. I called and asked if someone could go over my labs to see what sort of treatment plan I needed. I also was supposed to have 2 referrals. I was told they would send a note back and someone would call me. A week goes by, no call. I call again and get the same response. Thinking maybe the first note got lost, I again waited for the call. Nothing. 2 weeks later still no contact. Im really disappointed because I like the doctor, but following through with the treatment is kind of important. Im currently looking for a new doctor.

Great staff, very busy when you are trying to call in. I am not a fan of the phone system, but I like going here and bringing my family here rather than going to Kootenai. Its a private practice, and I understand their problems with dealing with the insurance. People complaining about the billing--have you ever had to call multiple insurances daily, wait on hold for up to an hour at a time, just to be told that the plan doesnt cover basic care options? No? Its not fun. Im glad Im not doing it. I appreciate the doctors/NPs, and all of the clinical staff. The front office is great to deal with, but like I said, you have to deal with the phone system. They scheduled an appointment for me (without telling me) 13 months in advance for a physical. They never told me about the appointment (13 months ago; they just put it on their books), they never called (though, they claim they called to confirm the appointment before the date, while I show ZERO calls from them on my phone), they never emailed, they never once told me about this appointment. However, they did send me a nasty letter when I missed this appointment, explaining that my next missed appointment in the same year will cost me $35.

New to the area and looking to find a family doctor. Called their office as soon as it opened and spoke with Sarah who was very nice and helpful but didn’t know price of self-pay and phone became disconnected when she went to talk with billing. We went to the ATM anyways to get cash while trying to call the office two more times with no one answering. We walked in and my husband was told the appointment we were trying to get scheduled for was already scheduled and the next wasn’t for another two hours. Very disappointed we never received a call back from Sarah promptly after the phone disconnected and they filled the appointment when we told Sarah we were on our way! This meant my husband had to miss a whole day of work since it was too late to take our daughter to daycare after her appointment. Their self-pay rates are outrageous, $130 and that is with a 30% discount. The front desk receptionists are extremely unfriendly, don’t even look at you when you walk in or greet you and act like your are a nuisance. Will NOT be coming back here or recommending them.

I was lucky to find this doctors office and that they accepted me. If anything is wrong with you and you need an appointment on that day you need to make sure to call at 7:00 AM. I unfortunately needed to be seen on a Friday. I called about noon and I was told that they didnt have anything that day or the week following because all of the doctors were on vacation. So I took their advice and went to urgent care. The following Tuesday I called them asking a few questions about the medicine that was prescribed and some of the side effects. The nurse did not pull up my chart. I asked her what I should do about my symptoms and she told me that there is a mouth rinse that I could get but I would need to be seen by a doctor and that wasnt possible because all our clients know to call by 7:00 AM to be seen. I had just learned this the Friday before. I asked her is there a probiotic that would help and she stuttered and changed the subject. When I asked if she was a nurse because the way that she was responding to my questions didnt seem like any way a nurse would talk. She told me she didnt know how to respond. This nurse no way seemed like a nurse or talked like a nurse or pull up a chart to see what she could find. It was a valid question. I will be making sure I make an appointment if I need to talk to someone and not calling in to talk to anymore nurses. Guess I will be Googleing a way to get rid of whats going on since the nurse service with this doctors office is by far lower then par. The doctors have been great though!

Theyve started requiring their patients to pay an extra $20 on top of their copay. We were looking into a Family doctor for my husband, self and son. I called monday of last week to see if PFFM was taking new patients. They told me they are. They asked me about medication that my family is on. My son takes 1 pill a day for ADHD and has for a few years. Never heard back last week. Today I get a call that they decline care for any of us because my son is on that medicine. What in the world? Again,Im checking to see if this is legal to not accept a patient due to a previous legal medication they are on but wanted to give a heads up to anyone searching for a new provider. Luckily we had found someone last week when PFFM failed to call within a few days that will take our family.

In my experience/ opinion: Not a very organized office. Messed up my labs multiple times. Very long wait to see anyone, even though I have an appointment (would sometimes take up to an hour after my scheduled appointment to see the doctor). Takes a ridiculously long time to get requests processed by the office (such as switching doctors). Dr Peters seems to lack empathy for his patients and does not listen to concerns. His nurses are very caring and professional. He could learn something about basic patient care by watching the nurses work with his patients. Such terrible treatment that I went to urgent care to have those more than capable doctors finish treating the issue I was facing with a much more realistic and comfortable treatment plan than Dr Peters plan. Will never step foot in that office again.

I went in to see my assigned doctor. I specifically told him I was looking for a referral. My doctor looked at me and told me my problem was not in my Prostate. What pissed me off the most was he told me the problem was “quite common among Homosexual males.” What! He prescribed an anti-biotic that did nothing for me and the pain continued to grow. I called in demanding a referral to see an Urologist, and luckily my doctor was out. The doctor covering for him was happy to give the referral. The Urologist gave me a more reasonable diagnosis and the correct medication. I later called in asking to be switched to the other doctor and was told NO! I switched to another office. Throughout the years I began to feel more like a name on a list or a number on a page at my previous PCP.I wasnt sure who I wanted to schedule with, so I asked the receptionist to point me to someone (anyone) that would listen to me and treat me like a human! She directed me towards Chelsey ONeill, ARNP. Both Chelsey and her MA have been so attentive and kind to me the times I have been in so far. Chelsey seems to be very knowledgeable and will actually explain whats going on instead of just ushering you out the door! The atmosphere in the office seems much more personal and laid back than my previous experience.Overall, Im thrilled to have found a new provider I can trust!Oh, and the icing on the cake is the fact that they have same day availability for your immediate concerns. I had a horrible experience here. After being sick for 2 weeks, I agreed to see a nurse practitioner. She was completely incompetent with the labs she requested. The Panhandle Health District even called & strongly suggested, the nurse practitioner prescribe an antibiotic for a contagious GI infection my entire family has b/c I have the exact same symptoms my kids tested positive for. However, because my labs were negative (which was likely a lab error) the nurse practitioner refused. For the safety of the community, youd think she would try to stop this from spreading. Instead of requesting a 2nd test she came up with her own recommendation for further treatment which was completely ridiculous.

I hung up the 2nd time after 8 minutes of waiting and said I couldnt wait and needed to speak to my nurse right away, she interrupted me and said YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT! and just placed me on hold for another 12 minutes, I hung up and called again and was placed on hold for the rest of the time till I gave up. I have not once been able to get a hold of anyone today except whoever placed me on hold, I sat and listened to not very pleasing hold music for that long.
