Place looks great but that’s about it. When I came in to look at it all the dogs were inside and with no water. Same thing when I dropped my dog off. When I picked her up I waited in the parking lot for two hrs and I haven’t seen a single person out walking or playing with a dog, not cool! I will be skipping this place from now on

Caring staff, takes the time to get to know your dog. Nicks training methods get results with great positive reinforcement. Wholehearted recommendation for Camp K9!

I have reccomend many people here for training and have heard nothing but great things about Nick.I myself for the first time needed to get my dog in for socialization issues. Nick made it really easy with my busy schedule working 6 days a week. We set up a phone consult in the afternoon to be able to discuss what was going on, then were then later able to meet up for an in person consult with my dog. I had a lot of questions and was worried about costs and how well my dog would do. Costs were really affordable and after day 1, I am nothing but pleased with Nick and their staff.I have a couple friends that board there pets here and have nothing but great things to say each time.Thankful for Camp K9.

We live in Spokane Valley and found this place with the nice play yards and staff seemed nice. Everytime we dropped off or picked up the dogs we NEVER saw dogs in the play yard. I eventually started doing drive by when in town and still have not observed dogs in play yard. I also picked up very wet bedding on my last 2 visits. Photos are inconsistent and they do not have an answer for when dogs are in the play yard and no matter time of day they have an excuse for why dogs are inside.

Ive been taking my dog here for a year and a half. Was recommended by another owner who brings his dog here. Absolutely phenomenal staff. They take take care of her as their own. The amount of compassion and love I see and how they care for all the animals is outstanding. Thank you everyone for being so kind to Lucy. -Celina

Editing my review because I did get ahold of Nick and there were more things going on than I knew.Anyway, I will update the review more when we actually start training.Original review: Trying to find a place to start training our puppy to become a service dog. Have called and emailed multiple times. Nick said he would answer the questions from the state and give us prices. Its been 2 months. Weve called back multiple times and finally got ahold of him 2 weeks ago, he said he can answer the questions. Sent email. Still havent heard back! This is holding up all the stuff with the state.

This is the best place for your dogs. They treat your pets like they are your own and its more than affordable. I love the staff and their approach of only positive reinforcement. Has saved me more than once. They can handle any type of pet personality.

It’s alright Nick the trainer said he would call and schedule our next appointment after so long of not hearing anything I called no answer so I left a message. He called me back a day later. Nick mentioned that he forgot to call me, after reminding him about our appointment he said to meet him at Home Depot on Friday I pulled into Home Depot walked around for 1 hour. Called there office no answer left a message still haven’t heard back almost been one hole week.Nice training for $1200.00 only had three 1 on 1 sessions with him and he trained the dog for 18 days in his place of boarding. Witch lead to $1800.00 of vet bills bladder infection, eye infection, ear infection and so on.If you have your pup trained here I will get a written contract on what Nick is supposed to do.

Excellent care of our dog while we were moving. Unlike most boarding facilities in the area they understand all dog personalities and know how to handle them correctly. Highly recommended.

Nick & Camille trained our German Shepard with almost immediate and impressive results! (not to be confused with Nick in Liberty Lake-horrid experience!) They’re the best trainers we’ve had and weve used some in Spokane and Cda. (And they were the least expensive)! When we board our dog we trust them for weeks at a time and he is happy to see them, which is very reassuring!

There are not enough superlatives to describe this place. Nick and Camille and all the staff treat your pup like their own. Day care is fantastic and dogs get lots of exercise in a controlled environment. Boarding is outstanding. This is the pace to take your pup and is the only place I will use

We have been taking our dogs to Camp k-9 for almost a year now for boarding, and they have been so amazing! When we have family emergencies come up they are so great about getting our dogs in even with it being last minute. Our dogs are always tired and worn out when we pick them up and they are always so excited to go there! Thank you Camp k-9 for being so great!

We have used their services a couple times and each visit presented with some odd behaviors from our dogs. It seems as though the dogs arent taken out enough or maybe rushed to do their business. One instance when I picked up our dogs, the bigger one jumped into our RV and proceed to urinate for what seemed like 5 minutes. Granted he was excited to see us but had never done anything like that before. This past weekend I picked them up from a three day stay and what was handed to me was 2. dog beds full of wet cold urine. I refused one of the beds telling the gal to throw it away and took the other which I thought was dry but wasnt. The staff seems nice but I question what goes on behind closed doors. Our dogs were filthy as well, no wonder they offer an exit bath ($15 extra) at pick up. Ill be taking my businesses elsewhere.

Paid for dog training because our Australian Shepherd was horrible on a leash. He would pull hard, not listen to us, bark at other dogs. In just a couple weeks he was walking next to us not pulling and listening to our commands. Hes still barking at other dogs but not as bad as he used to. We also like to take him to puppy daycare so he can play with the other dogs.

There are good and bad things about this place. Getting them to answer the phone or call you back is impossible. You can call 20 times over 3 days, which I did; leave messages over and over, which I did; and you will never receive a call back. That said, once you can finally get them to answer their phone, they are very nice, albeit not very forthcoming with all the details of what you need to bring for your dogs boarding stay.My dog seemed to love it here. They truly love animals and really get to know them. When I went to pick up my dog (who is a puppy and a handful), she was playing in the yard, happy as can be!Overall, I know my pet received great loving care, but the inconvenience to me was very frustrating, especially not knowing if I need to be calling other facilities because I wont be hearing back from them.

Nick the trainer IS a 5 star trainer. He has very reasonable prices! Great place for my Doberman to stay & play! Not to mention hes already made Drago (my dog), a nice Big Dog that minds me very well, as long as he gets his walk:)!! Now Nick is starting to train Drago as a service dog, as I move up the yr chart:)!Take my dog to Camp K 9, any day!Not to be confused with the K 9 Camp, in Liberty Lake, with Nick as the rip off/ trainer!!Sweeper

My first schecule boarding was great. Took my dog there again on another boarding and when i picked him up his bed was cold and wet with urine and they had tied my dog up with his leash for a extended period of time because he had almost chewed thru his leash. When i question the person about it all he said was sorry, yeah he did. They didnt even offer me a replacement or a explanation for why he had the opportunity to chew on it.

I will start off by saying how disappointed and angry I am with this facility. We started off about 4 months ago going to Camp K 9 for their boot camp training with Nick. I had no problem paying the $800.00, charge, and did so the first day of camp. I found out a few days before dropping my dog off that training was only Monday thru Friday, and he would be kenneled on the weekends with only being let out twice, so I opted to pick up my dog every Friday and return him Monday mornings and never once did I state the fee should be adjusted. Prior to my dog going into boot camp he knew how to sit and walk so so on a leash. I was assured he would come out a new dog. Well, that is not the case and the only thing in my eyes he got better at is walking on a leash. He wont come when called, he does what he wants, when he wants and after the boot camp was over I was told there were now one on one sessions and that is were I (the owner) will be trained on how my dog was trained and that latest about (3) times as each and every time Nick seemed put out and not interested. The third time, and last was when my dog didnt want to listen and I would of thought for anyone Nick would be the one he would defiantly listen too, but nop! So Nick went and grabbed a prong collar and proceed to drag my dog around while my dog was bitting at the collar and screeming and of course there was blood because the collar cut his mouth, well that session latest less than 10 minutes, like the rest and lets just say I made it clear that collar was NEVER to be used again so moving on....... So since I opted to discontinue the training or lack of it, I did notice that my dog enjoyed being there so I opted to bring him there one or two days a week for their doggy daycare and I felt things were going fine as he seemed tired and played out when I picked him and also excited when I dropped him off. I have always paid my bill a head but I started getting questioned that I owed money and of course each and every time they realized it was their error in their accounting process. I had spoken to Nick directly about this issue and he assured me it would not happen again, so I once again decided to continue with the doggy daycare and about a week in after the whole BS about I owe money I started to notice odd behavior with my dog. He seem tired, but not in a way that he played too much , he lost his voice several times, was coming home limping, there were times when it was as if he seemed depressed, he started getting bad diarrhea and that is when I started to take a look closer and one morning I asked one of the employees if she could give me a run down of my dogs day and she stated he is in a play group a half hour in morning and half hour in afternoon and taken out for a pee break twice. I cannot express to you what I felt at that moment as I was told he was out playing for hours on end..... are you kidding me!!! Nick seems to never be there, his staff is young and for the most part pleasant, but not very professional and when asked a question they never seem to have an answer, I think the other trainer (Camille) is very rude and I noticed my dog did not connect with her well, which concerned my A LOT!! I do not exactly know what happened behind those doors but my dog has expressed odd behavior along with a few other issues. I also took him to his vet and as I wanted him to be examined his vet has cared for him since he was 91/2 weeks and she agreed that his behavior is odd and also stated that he shows some mild signs of aggression now, which concerned her. I have spoken to several other people who have taken their dogs to Camp K 9 for training and/or daycare they have also expressed similar issues with their pets and since then removed them, so with all that has happened and all I have recently heard as well, I have made the choice to remove my dog and I am very disappointed with the whole experience.

Brought our dogs for boarding and came away with a very sick puppy. Vets says our Samoyed ingested some really unhealthy water or food saturated with urine or feces and got a bacterial infection. Called with concerns, owner blamed us instead of acting professional. If you are looking for professionals Id say go some where else.
