Woodland family dental is easily the greatest dental experience in the PNW. The front desk ladies Brandy and Sierra are absolutely amazing and extremely quick! All of the assistants are so friendly and make it such a comfortable place even though theyre about to drill holes in your teeth. Doctor Sunshine does absolutely excellent work and I wouldnt trust another person more with my smile. If you have an awful fear of the dentist, then theres no better place like Woodland Family Dental to help you be more comfortable. Ive never been so motivated to take care of my teeth thanks to their amazing staff. I legitimately feel like if I dont take care of my teeth that Ill be letting them down.

I had my first appointment today after not being able to see a dentist for about 4 years, the longest Ive ever gone, because I began experiencing a lot of debilitating health problems that got extreme. Its still hard for me to care for my teeth at times, and the last time I went to the dentist it was really difficult for me with a lot of my symptoms interfering. That was the reason I wanted to find a new one--I needed an office that put patient comfort first with the methods they use and the way they have everything set up. I had a cleaning, x-rays, and an overall discussion on the health of my teeth and how we can care for them moving forward. This was by far the easiest and most comfortable dentist appointment Ive ever had. They went above and beyond to accommodate all my health issues and I am so appreciative of that. They answered all of my questions and helped to give me an idea of where we can go from here to get all of my mouth problems taken care of. My anxiety usually skyrockets at the dentist but I was completely calm inside once we got started. Dr. Sunnshine took her time with me and was so sweet and empathetic to my situation, and Dr. McArthur even came into the room to welcome me. Im very excited to be working with them moving forward to get my teeth healthy again.

I had my regular routine exam scheduled for 6 months, they called to cancel it for me and couldnt get me in for another 2 months. I called again and they had an opening in the evening, so my husband took work off to watch our kids and the morning of they sent a text cancelling my appointment again. I havent been satisfied with my recent service and dont feel valued as a client not am spoken to like someone should speak to their customers on the phone.

Appreciate Dr. Sunshine and the staff - very courteous and efficient. Having a cracked filling replaced was the best experience Ive ever had at a dentist. Excellent numbing technique too.

If youre afraid of going to the dentist, then Woodland Family is where you should go.I was in a really bad car accident when I was 10, that had me in and out of the dentist, orthodontist, and oral surgeon office until I was 17. That left me with a lifelong issue with anxiety when it was time to get anything done with my teeth.I cant say I didnt have any anxiety at my first appointment with WFD, but I can say it was the gentlest and best experience I have had in a dentist chair. Give them a try, I think youll be as happy with them as I am.

I cant say enough about how amazing Woodland Dental is. I got my wisdom teeth out today and Sunshine was so amazing with my fears and concerned with my comfort the entire time. The procedure went so much better than I anticipated, I would absolutely recommend them to everyone, especially if you have anxiety about going to the dentist. We love Woodland Family Dental! Dr McArthur is great. I call him Dr Painless, never felt any thing when he had to extract a cracked tooth, not even the shot! Everyone is friendly and I would recommend Woodland to anyone who is apprehensive about dental care! My wife was so afraid of going the dentist she had put it off for about 10 years, but she had a great experience and now regularly goes for cleanings and checkups.

Our entire family are patients at Woodland Dental. We have been going there for all of our dental needs for 5 years. They have been available, knowledgeable and great for our kids. They are fabulous with kids and really get them into learning and taking care of there own teeth.

My Husband read the reviews and decided on going to WoodlandDental and he liked that Dr McAuthur was a veteran and gives back tothe area. He was so pleased with the dental work, he went in for a removal and they told him they could save it with a crown . He is 73 and didnt want to loose another tooth.(SO HAPPY} They told him the cost upfront and there was no Pain at all during or after procedure !! The best dentist he has ever had. They completed the permanent crown that morning in house.Great Dental assistant that new what she was doing.He would recommend this Dental office to anyone.

I wanted to take a moment to thank the staff here. I had a wonderful experience. They took a very stressful situation and provided great care! I highly recommend this office. They were fantastic. I had an extraction and 2 fillings, honestly my nerves were through the roof at first. However, the procedure itself was painless and easy! Took all the fear out of the experience.

I actually enjoy going to the dentist now. The front office is welcoming and explain all finances to the best of their knowledge. The clinical team are gentle yet thorough and the doctors have a great way of explaining what is important. They really have it all together and the best part is it’s family owned.

I was in to see Dr. Douglass McArthur yesterday for a Crown 👑.. It was my first crown so I wasn’t sure what to expect ... After explaining the process , he got started and before I knew it the pain free prep for crown was done and I was waiting for it to be made ... While I waited for crown to be processed the friendly staff asked if there was anything I needed ... My 8 year old had a tooth extraction today and the staff made everything a breeze. He didn’t even realize he was having his tooth removed. My 3 and 4 year olds enjoyed their teeth cleaning and they definitely won’t have a complaint about going back.

Simply INCREDIBLE people. I did not expect much going in , I needed ALOT of work done and was STUNNED when told Sunshine at Woodland Dentistry was going to be my ONE STOP SHOP!!!! Nicest people I have ever met...even after MY standoffishness in the beginning. First visit to Woodland Family Dental and it could not have gone any better. Jody, my hygienist was absolutely a gem to meet and visit with during my checkup. I was invited to come in for Veterans Day and have my teeth looked at. Dr. Sunshine and all the staff were wonderful in helping me have the work I needed done. I cant thank Woodland Family Dental enough for all their work and support to this Army veteran! 🥰

Switched to Woodland after a not so good experience with another dentist. Dr. Sunshine and her staff are fantastic! I am very nervous when it comes to getting my teeth worked on. Worst reception ever!The dental hygienist was good but a member of the front staff, I think her name was melica, was awful. Last time I took my daughter in for a cleaning they only had five chairs set up in the waiting area. They have two extremely large and expensive looking massage chairs which no one ever is sitting in. All five of the other waiting area chairs were taken and instead of them saying I can wait in the car and they will call me, I sat in one of the massage chairs with my daughter on my lap. That didnt last for too long since we were sitting there for 20 minutes waiting so she got off and got on the other massage chair. A front office lady (Im pretty sure melica) yelled at her to get off the massage chair that it was adults only. There was no sign saying this, how was I to know?!What would have been more appropriate would be if they had asked me to come to the counter and then said kindly could you please have your child sit on your lap or if you would like to wait in your car we will call you when were ready . We do not allow children on the massage chairs.It was totally rude and uncalled for.I decided to give them another chance thinking that maybe this lady had a bad day and another child had an appointment several weeks later. However 28 hours before his appointment, someone in our household was being tested for covid-19 so I thought it prudent to call them and not to bring him in. Melica told me it goes down as a no-show because I didnt give them a 48 hour notice but that I would not be charged the $50 cancellation fee. I told her never mind I will bring him in I wouldnt want to go down as a no-show. Then a few minutes later she called me back stating that she could not have me come in but it would still go down as a no-show. Then she had the audacity to try to reschedule!! Um....NO!! Its time to find a different dentist office!!

I can not express how wonderful everyone is here. Dr. Sunshine is fantastic!! Candy went above and beyond to make my wild three year old feel comfortable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

I called to see if i could get an emergency tooth extraction. My tooth had broke and is beyond saving. It got infected over the weekend. I called early and they fit me in. Amazing dental office. My children have been going here for about 6 months. I recently started going here myself after being terrified of the dentist for almost 20 years. Sunshine and Noah are amazing. They really care and Sunshine is hilarious. Really takes the fear out of going to the dentist. She even called me after I had my wisdom teeth out to check in. I also love that my kids actually enjoy going to the dentist and have asked me if they can go back between visits. And the receptionist is always very sweet. I’d give them 10 stars.

This office was the only one I could get to see me when I was in a ton of pain, but didn’t have insurance. They took care of me, and were so kind and gracious, I’ve been going to them ever since. They now see my entire family and my two sons, 2 and 4, are not at all afraid of the dentist because they love Dr. Sunshine and all her staff!

My 6 tooth bridge totally failed, with all the anchor teeth breaking. I suddenly found myself without any upper teeth. An emergency appointment confirmed it was not a fixable situation. So I made the decision to have all remaining roots pulled and replaced with a full upper denture. On that big day the staff was so supportive and calming. 90 minutes after arriving I walked out with a great upper denture that has renewed my self confidence, and I can actually eat again! And I get so many compliments on my smile! Thank you Woodland Family Dental ❤️

Wow! If you are looking for a family friendly, caring, professional, skilled and knowledgeable dentist office, this is the place! Our entire family and extended family (from 4 years to 45 years of age) are patients here. We’ve had infected wisdom teeth pulled, cleanings, fillings, root canals and bite guards made here and the care provided for each and every one of us was incredible. All 8 of us agree that this is THE place to go for dental care. There is also two massage chairs in the waiting room and they give a discount for cash payments! Our family HIGHLY recommends Woodland Family Dental!

These people are amazing! I called them 10 minutes before they were closing and they stayed open for an extra hour to see my son who had just busted his teeth at the skatepark. Dr. Sunshine is a saint and I highly recommend if you are looking for people who actually care and treat you like family. THIS IS THE PLACE. Never in my life has a Dr. stayed to help complete strangers in a time of need they way she did.
