My first ever visit to a periodontist and I couldnt have had a better experience. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful and Dr. McCombs and his assistants are very caring and do a great job of explaining things and do their best to make you feel comfortable. I have been treated by Dr. McCombs for over a year. When I first came, the roof of my mouth was in such pain that I would wake up at night. My regular dentist said I was at serious risk of losing at least one section of the teeth.Dr. McCombs did not give glowing optimism, but he did recommend exploratory surgery. That surgery revealed a simpler solution than what any of us expected. I was surprised that the bridge was immediately replaced. The recovery seemed slow, but through the follow-up appointments, I learned a lot about proper care and hygiene for implants.I was doubtful when Dr. McCombs recommended a second surgery—gum graft, no less. The idea seemed impossible. I put it off; but then he showed me what the gum tissue looked like around the bridge—like weak cheek tissue. I realized I had little choice but to give it a try. During the surgery, he said he had practiced the surgery on a computer model; I was amazed and encouraged.Two weeks after that surgery, I was not overly hopeful. I knew he had done all that a human could do, but the pain level made me wonder. Two months later, however, my regular dentist was enthusiastic at the improvement. Now, finally, at three month point, I can brush with normal force and I am pain-free. The tissue around the bridge is gum-tissue instead of weak cheek tissue. Dr. McCombs even encouraged me that with proper care on my part, the bridge should last for the rest of my life.Dr. McCombs has been consistently hopeful but always honest. He is faithfully and diligently attentive to the smallest of details. His staff members are courteous and informative as well. I am very pleased with his knowledge, service and concern.

Absolute great experience with Dr. McCombs and his staff! They were extremely professional and helpful throughout my entire experience there. Even when i did have questions and needed help after the initial procedure, Dr. McCombs was available and walked me through the steps i needed to take and even made time for me first thing in the morning to evaluate my condition. Dr. McCombs recently completed two procedures on my daughters gums. The procedures had been recommended by our orthodontist, and the orthodontist offered to do them, but I preferred to have a specialist do the procedure. The office staff was helpful and professional. Dr. McCombs’ experience and honesty helped me when I needed a second opinion on an orthodontic recommendation for my son, that would eventually include implants. Although implants are part of his business, Dr. McCombs helped me see that the other route, that did not include implants, was the better decision. He was very easy to talk to and explained everything so I could understand both options and make the best decision. I was so thankful for his recommendation and professionalism.

What a ray of sunshine it was to come into this office. Chrissy, the front desk receptionist was exceptionally friendly, kind and helpful. Then when we had to be taken back to the room by the Assistant, Brenda, the professionalism, kindness continued. These two gals had us so comfortable and were so helpful with our questions and needs. Dr. McComb was outstanding, was very kind in explaining our situation, prognosis, and continued care. Easy to understand, and we would highly recommend this office and doctor for any of your periodontal needs. Definitely a five star rating.

I highly recommended this office. From the front office to the assistants to the doctor. Everyone was very welcoming, and helpful. They made me feel comfortable and I have very high anxiety.
