This review is for Major Medical Supply - not sure what the relationship is with Rotech, but they have the same address. Major Medical Supply is the company who supplied my mother with a portable oxygen tank in August after a hospital stay. The hospital doctors said she should be on oxygen daily and to call Major Medical Supply to set up a regular delivery service for oxygen. Also, to call Major Medical Supply and they would go to my mothers group home to pick up the portable tank received at the hospital. I called Major Medical Supply in early August, shortly after my mother was released from the hospital to the care of her group home. The person who answered the phone wasnt very friendly, but did say that someone would go to the group home to pick up the portable tank the next day. I had to leave town for a few weeks and when I came back, the group home informed me that nobody had picked up the portable tank, nobody from Major Medical Supply had called and obviously, no new oxygen supplies had been delivered. Fortunately the group home has an oxygen apparatus that they have been using with my mother. My next step was to send an on-line query via a Rotechs web-site. After a week, there was no reply, so I sent a fax to the fax number on the supply form from the hospital. Sadly, there hasnt been a reply to the fax either. We are lucky that my mother has great care in her group home and that I can be her advocate - my heart goes out to people who have limited resources that might be forced to work with companies like Major Medical Supply/Rotech - what a disservice their lack of customer care is for people in need of medical supplies.

My insurance was making it impossible to get an overnight oximeter test; Major Medical came through with the test without financial recovery. I have never had a problem getting my tubes, tanks or anything from them. They have been nothing but courteous to me. Sheldon, the delivery man, is always friendly and helpful.

This is the email that my husband recently sent to this company. Lets see where this goes. We would give 0 stars, but it is not an option.Where do I begin. As a disabled veteran on a vent, I find your service to be negligent and incompetent. I am stuck with your company for now due to the VA contract. My wife has to call multiple times a month to get my respiratory supplies and even get a vent check done, which by the way if doesnt call, it doesnt happen. When she does finally get in touch with someone who will talk to her and not promise her a call back that never happens, they dont take a list of supplies needed. They say the tech will call before he comes to get the list. This doesnt happen either. He comes and doesnt bring what is needed. He says that he will have the additional items mailed. That doesnt happen either. I have been asking for some supplies for 4 or more months. My wife has taken it upon herself to find these items online to purchase. Listen, you are not providing a magazine subscription service. You are providing medical equipment, in some instances life saving medical equipment. The negligence in this company could potentially cause someone to get sicker or even succumb to their illness due to lack of proper supplies. I am lucky, I have a wife that takes very good care of me. Everyone is not so lucky.I am giving you the courtesy of letting you know that I have every intention of making the public aware of the negligent and incompetent company you are. I will be contacting my local newpaper, radio, and tv stations. Something needs to be done about this company. You are playing with peoples lives.

Review for Major Medical aka Rotech.Customer service is practically nonexistent, you can call but no one answers. If they do, its always the person that is NOT in charge with what you need. If they schedule a delivery for Tuesday you might get it on Friday night at 9pm. If you dont need the rental equipment anymore they will milk your insurance as long as they can. Will pick it up in a week.I do not recommend this business.

My review is similar to most who have already reviewed; however, in my case, we received the oxygen the evening it was ordered, which was good. Unfortunately, we are still trying to get someone to pick it up since April 6th and it is now May 2nd. We have called so many times and told that they only come to our side of town on Mondays. We have been told they cant give us a time they will pick up, so you pretty much lose a day waiting on them and then they dont show at all. I have informed them they better not be charging our insurance since the date we ordered pick up, but Im not sure how that is going to turn out yet. Please steer clear of this company!!!!!

I called to have my husbands wheelchair picked up and the lady who picked up the phone...Raquel to be exact was VERY rude, and refused to pick it up because we didnt have a doctors note clearing him, I said well he hasnt been in it for 2 months and she replies not my problem we still got paid for it, I guess you could sign a against medical advice form I said sure we will do that.She then says we can pick it up on Monday, we only come to your side on Fridays and Mondays and I said well tomorrow is Friday and she replies: well that isnt gonna work so is someone gonna be there on Monday or not? I reply: sure someone will be here around what time? she says: I will NOT give you an exact time someone will call but it will be between 8:30 and 10:30 now are you gonna be there or not?RUDE IGNORANT person will NEVER get ANY supplies from them again because of her! And it is a shame because the guy who delivered it to us back in Dec was AWESOME!

Major problems the entire time I was with Rotech. At fitting mask did not seal and I was told that was all they could do. Changed mask for a better fit but tech did not update my information and I was sent replacement parts for old mask, told I would have to pay for them. Tech did not properly down load modem so I had to drive across town to bring them their machine to update my information. They did not tell me that due to this my insurence would drop payment of CPAP. They did not tell me I was required to see my doctor by a certain time to also keep insurence payments going. Opted not to have automatic delivery of replacement parts, however, they did not tell me that in the fine print I had to receive them. Replacement parts are not needed for most items they send. They lie and say they must be replace but can not give a reasonable reason why. Received a letter saying my insurence was not paying and that I must return the CPAP in seven days or be charged $1,300. Insurence company said they were paying and when they attempted to call Rotech, Rotech would not talk to them. Went throught four customer service reps to try and correct the problem. Was hung up on once, routed to several places that had no idead of why I received the letter. Am takeing the CPAP back and dropping Rotech due to poor customer service. However, I have been informed that they will not take back the $175 in new, unopened parts they sent. Trust me on this, this company is not there to help you. They lie and give false information. They are in it only for the money$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Brought me an oxygen concentrater and was out of tanks. Has now been 3 weeks and wait until next Monday because only in Mesa on Monday. I guess if it quits you hold your breath until next Monday also.

Worst company I have dealt with. Takes over 4 weeks to get supplies then they send the wrong supplies, then no one will call me back so I get them returned. Stay away from this company unless you want nothing but headaches and customer service people who are there just to collect a paycheck.

Ive had the same type of rudeness from these people, I think Raquell was her name too!!! The service is really BAD, Im a Veteran and they treat me like Sh**. I wish there was another Company to do Oxygen Supplies, but I guess there isnt One!!!!

Worst business. Called 3 times. Emailed once and no return call. Medicare and VA need to know horrible service.
