I’ve been a long time patient at Eye Priority & recently had a situation where I needed to see an eye doctor immediately on the weekend. I called Eye Priority‘s emergency number & Dr. Sawitzke personally called me back within 30 minutes AND proceeded to see me in the office within two hours. She conducted a thorough exam, wrote me script & put my mind at ease regarding my eye situation. Not something I see happen often these days. I highly recommend Eye Priority!!

Eye Priority is friendly and knowledgable and for those reasons I would recommend them. In fact, we drive 6 hours to see them. While I can sing their praises, I really felt jilted this time that they said they would have to charge $20 more dollars to tell me my childs PD measurement. OUCH! With all the good that they do and all the money I paid out of pocket, I felt that withholding that piece of information drove a small wedge in our patient--professional relationship.

I am not the kind who would write a review because i get so busy, so i had to take some time out of my day and write how amazing this place is. First of all going to and eye appointment with all your kids can be overwhelming, but once the front desk assistant tells you they have a play room for kids, my heart was so happy. This was my first time visiting this place and i loved it from the very start. They were very helpful and they even helped me with my kids while i was picky choosing a frame that i would love. The manager was so friendly she would even try to get my 1 year old to happy while i was searching for frames. Once she got him to calm down she let him sit with her front desk assistant and my other kids were in the play room with her son coloring and eating crackers. It was such a Blessing watching each employee helping me out to feel as comfortable and happy about the frames i choose. I love this place thank you for all your dedication and help you did for me.

Dr D is a great listener and tailors your eye needs to your personal behavior. I have been going to see her for over 10 yrs (since the old location). As my eyes started aging, she suggested that I tweak my prescription for contacts for most every day use for work (computer) and to wear prescription glasses for distance view and reading. They also updated their new office with the latest equipment with Optomap for retinal scanning. She is also great with ensuring that the contacts fit well and I have been able to try different ones until i get one that fits me perfectly. Great service by her!

Top notch doctors and friendly staff! Love that they are one of the only vision centers in Ahwatukee to specialize in Vision Therapy. I appreciate seeing their office give back locally to the community as they are sponsors in the community magazine I receive.

Wonderful customer service team and great doctor! Everyone is super helpful and easy to work with. Dr. Sawitzke truly cares about each patient. Would recommend this place to everyone for their eye care!

Terrible service by the front desk!I have been one of Eye Priority’s biggest fans and a very loyal customer for several years but the staff has become very rude and disorganized recently. It has become bad enough that I am no longer comfortable going to them and I would strongly recommend that you keep looking for an eye care provider who will treat you with the kindness and professionalism that you deserve.

I love seeing Eye Priority in our parish magazine every! Whenever my husband stops in the office and talks to the staff, they are always so friendly. I dont wear glasses, but if I ever need an eye exam or checkup, they will be the first office I go to since they have been serving the Ahwatukee families for over 25 years!

Great service. Have been going there for 2 years now. Have appointments early in the morning before going to work, very convenient. Easy to get to from the freeway and Dr. Sawitzke is very thorough and gives ample amount of time to ask questions. Reasonable rates and accept most vision insurance plans.

Just had an great eye exam experience here. They have more up-to-date equipment then the last office I used (no dilation - they have equipment that photographs the inside of your eye). The Optomitrist made me feel welcome and at ease as did her entire staff (and since it was casual Friday, she was wearing a t-shirt with a big fun mosaic eye on it). Also, no pressure to buy expensive options I didnt want but was made aware of what was available and what the advantages are. A+ experience. I will be retuning again.

My husband and I have had a great experience coming to Eye Priority!I really appreciate the time Dr. Monica Sawitzke takes with me, she is very patient & thorough! I wanted to try contacts which requires patience and several attempts. I had a weird travel schedule that restricted my availability and she worked me in to her schedule. By the time I had to leave for the summer, I was wearing contacts (yay!) and Dr. Monica even gave me a hug (so personable : ) )The staff is very friendly & knowledgeable. Cris in the optical shop intercepted us as we were on our way to Cos*** to get a better price and she showed us they have competitive prices plus 2-year lens replacement plans for my hubby (which we have already used once within 1 month). She was also very patient with my daily calls at first when trying contacts to answer my questions. She even patiently answered my friendss questions who wasnt even a patient.Its in a great location, easy accessible, and an updated atmosphere. Theres a lot of options for lenses & frames. You cant find a better optical place!

The staff is very friendly and it is such an easy office to get in and out of (prime location just south of Chandler Blvd)! Dr. Kelly de Simone is professional, friendly and great at what she does!

THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!! They did not tell my husband before hand how much it was for a contact visit. They proceeded to use all of his eye hard ware allowance minus 5$ to pay for his visit, then once his contacts came in they proceeded to tell me with a straight face that it would me $130 for his contacts. I said but he has an allowance of 130 to use towards his contacts which they used towards his appointment. They wont be seeing us again and hopefully youll read reviews before you make the same mistake I did.

I am so impressed with Dr Sawitzke and ALL of the staff at Eye Priority! I found them while searching for a alternative to my never-quite-correct contacts the previous 2 eye doctors prescribed me. I have enough of an astigmatism that the highest range vision of toric lenses werent cutting it, and I was told that hard lenses were phasing out. My research lead me to Synergeyes Duette hybrid lens, hard in the middle and soft on the edges! Eye priority was the closet doctor that prescribed them. While at my visit, I asked about computer glasses for my night shift job as a customer service rep - my old contacts and readers werent cutting it anymore. Dr Sawitzke recommended progressives for both my contacts and computer glasses. I was apprehensive since I heard so many complaints of people never adjusting to their progressive lenses. But she nailed it first time! Ive never seen my computer screen better! A shout out to Chris, who assisted me in choosing the right frames for my face and took care of helping me iron out the paperwork. I couldnt be happier with the Ahwatukee Eye Priority staff. Every single person I had contact with was top notch!!

The ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life with my vision and my insurance. Perhaps if my family wasnt AFRICAN AMERICAN in Ahwatukee I would have been treated better.If you are a POC, person of color, AVOID this horribly racist, childish facility. They really charged my insurance and absolutely refuse to give me my prescription.... VSP is also trash. If your company doesnt use EyeMed, dont sign up for vision benefits because VSP happily paid this racist facility to withhold my prescription after doing my exam.There are financially stable AFRICAN AMERICAN families in Ahwatukee. Sorry Eye Priority, youll have to get used to it.
