Lesley is excellent! She cares about you as a person. The first time I met her, I instantly felt her compassion. She listens to your story before she starts the treatment-something I always look forward to when I see her. I have been seeing her for acupuncture and massage for the past six months (mostly acupuncture) because of chronic pain and fatigue due to work-related stress. I started getting acupuncture twice a week then after three months I go once once a week. Now, I see her once or twice a month because I have tremendously improved- the pain in the morning rarely happens now. What is really nice of Lesley is that she provides you many other alternatives aside from acupuncture that can help improve your health. Also, my husband has been suffering from GERD for the past two decades. After a month of two sessions a week with Lesley, he has greatly improved and no more waking up at the middle of the night because of heartburn. One more thing, Lesley, will not interfere with whatever medications you are taking but she will help in the healing profess through her practice. I highly recommend her! I went to acupuncture with Lesley mainly hoping to relieve my chronic acid reflux which I have had for over 20 years. I took 6 treatments spread over the course of about 2 months and I started to notice major improvements in my symptoms after the 3rd treatment.Before acupuncture my day often consisted of taking various steps to manage my heartburn, whether it was taking tums, drinking almond milk, etc. Since undergoing acupuncture my acid reflux symptoms have been greatly lessened and it is no longer something I have to think about managing all day long.In addition to relieving my acid reflux, acupuncture has also given me more energy; this means I need little to no caffeine during the day, and needing less caffeine has helped with my reflux as caffeine is a major trigger for heartburn. It can thus be seen that all things work to the good in holistic medicine like acupuncture.Lesley is always very friendly and takes the time to get to know her patients. My wife also goes to acupuncture with me and we always enjoy it as a nice break on a Saturday afternoon.

After my husband passed away three years ago, there were things that I felt were blocking me from moving forward in my life. I’m seeing Lesley for back pain following a serious car accident. Im 28 years old and have had pain for about four years. Previous treatments (I’ve seen an MD specializing in pain management, a chiropractor, an orthopedic specialist, and several PTs) alleviated only some of the pain, or none at all. At its worst, the pain prevented me from walking without assistance. I took pain meds but was not open to surgery.I decided to give acupuncture a try. I’m two months into treatment and have already seen immense improvements: pain no longer wakes me up in the middle of the night, its not the first thing I think about when I wake up, and I can sneeze and cough pain-free. It feels as though a weight has lifted. Its amazing.This improvement is due, I think, not only to Lesleys skill as an acupuncturist, but also to the time and effort she has devoted to me. Going into the last few years I have always been a very healthy athlete who then had to undergo multiple surgeries, including both shoulders, my lumbar spine and hip replacements.
