Pharmacist was unprofessional, and rude and disrespectful, if not condescending. Even if I find I cant t use their pharmacy because its in-house, thats no reason to treat peoplewith disrespect! I tried to get an ADHD med filled, because its super important I get the one from a certain manufacturer , cause if not it doesnt work, causing, believe me, untold harm, and not just with the crazy amount of money wasted, but I could lose my job if I take a ADHD, med that doesnt work, one,mayexpect such behavior from a lay person, but from a Pharmacist? Really? I know everyone likes to read positives in these things and so do I, but thats not the reality, I have been doing this, and putting up with pharmacists like himself, for 30 years! And in this particular subject , they dont, I assure you know more than I.

I’ve been going here about 2 years it’s always a long wait no matter the day. Also there has been times they didn’t have enough to complete my prescription and they didn’t tell me until I already waited an hour. I really don’t enjoy going to this pharmacy but my Dr is in the building and it’s more convenient for him. In the future I hope the wait time is shorter, it’s the most staff I’ve seen in any pharmacy before I don’t understand why not.

I have been getting medications from this pharmacy for about 15 years I have never had one bad experience!! I have never had a person be rude or negative to me, everybody has always been polite pleasant helpful have gone above and beyond! There are times when Ive had issues with my medical card or precerts and to the medications that I take are greatly important to me in my life and even when my medical insurers prescription provider has had issues, HUP Pharmacy has always made sure that I have my medication! For those people who have complained of a 45 minute to one hour wait time you are lucky that thats all it is do you have any idea the magnitude of prescriptions they fill in 1 day alone how many people they serve? We are blessed to have this hospita . HUP has literally saved the life of my child!!!! I have nothing but praise and admiration for every single person from the person who parks the cars to the person who sweeps the floors and cleans, the folks who make the beds to thos doctors and nurses who provide the care to the top level surgeons and the administrative staff, this hospital is amazing!!!!! I have had the pleasure of being a patient for 20 plus years and I have been an employee twice so trust me I know what goes on and this pharmacy and staff go out of their way to help. Waiting an hour or more to me would not be unreasonable. Plan ahead dont just show when youre out or when youre in a rush. 😷🙏🏽🙏🏽

Its a hospital.

This is a small Pharmacy located inside the HUP, which is very convenient for Penn patients. They accept any script from any UPHS doctor, and almost always have medications that most Pharmacy do not carry. Very pleasant staff, with a small area to sit and wait. Sometimes it is a long wait depending on the time of day. Overall excellent Pharmacy.

This is by far the worst pharmacy experience Ive had. The staff is rude and impatient. Everytime Ive used this pharmacy Ive waited an hour or more! Ive even been told 45 mins and it turns into 1 hour or more. If I could find a pharmacy that carries the medications I take I would NEVER step foot into this pharmacy again! Negative 5 stars.

Horrible business office. Impossible to reach. Typical of our healthcare by universities with 8 billion in endowments.
