I had a great experience. Both the staff and the doctor were very knowledgable and helpful. I am very happy my ear problem was resolved during this visit. I would recommend this clinic to anyone needing an ENT specialist.

They completely wasted my time and money ($16 in uber rides). I arrived early for an 11:30 am appt. At noon, I asked when Id be seeing the doctor. I was told there was a current patient and then just one more patient ahead of me. They couldnt tell me how much longer Id be waiting, but said it would definitely be more than 15 minutes (my sad hopeful suggestion). An hour? Maybe.I expressed my dismay and was told, Things tend to run late here. Okay—then schedule your patients better.I asked for my paperwork back and returned to my job and the hunt for a new ENT.

I’ve been going here for over 5 years. The doctors are outstanding and the voice and speech therapists are just the best!

Each time I have gone to the office in person or spoken to staff on the phone, they have been very impatient to the point of being rude. The doctor I saw had little to no bedside manner, and made me feel uncomfortable every time I visited. He also insisted I get Cochlear implants after numerous tests, but did not properly record test results in my medical records, and would forget things from my records when we met to discuss. He did not take the time to fully discuss with me the impact of Cochlear implants, and how serious the surgery is. Overall, I felt like one of a list of many patients that they dont really care about there. I will do my best to discourage others from seeing Dr. McKinnon. Every visit left a bitter taste in my mouth.

The Drs and staff here have all been extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have had numerous tests and a surgery with them so far and no complaints.

This doctors office billed my insurance company over $1200 for a 45 min visit for swimmers ear which is essentially a basic ear infection. This inflated cost was billed in order for the doctor to receive a desired adjusted rate from my insurance company. The final out of pocket cost for the services rendered was $436. The services I received were: nasal endoscopy ($500 reduced to $232), binocular microscopy ($200 reduced to $33), comprehensive audiometry threshold eval & speech recognition (a glorified hearing test, $250 reduced to $40), and tympanometry ($80 reduced to $15), and finally the most shocking cost.... new patient acceptance. New patient acceptance is basically reviewing my chart ($200 reduced to $115). Most of these costs are ridiculous to begin with and I dont blame my insurance company for forcing this doctor to adjust my costs down, but what blows my mind is that I am a healthy 32 year old and they charged me an out of pocket cost of $115 to review my chart! A chart which had NOTHING on it because I am healthy as an ox. I was referred to this doctor by an internist two floors below his office and was told, as part of the referral, my medical records would transfer since I am a patient within the same system for which this doctor is part of (Drexel Medicine). I maintained this assumption that he was also a Drexel doctor because he is a professor at Drexel and all the paperwork in his office had Drexel logos. However, come to find out, he is part of a private practice. Regardless! A new patient intake should not be $115 unless some serious health history review is necessary! We talked for literally 2 mins about my symptoms and health history. Finally, one last issue about this bill... I was given a full hearing test (it was not optional) when my complaint was not about hearing loss, it was about pain in my ear due to the infection. All and all, not a good experience, i do NOT recommend this specialist, that have quite the scam going on with the insurance companies..
