Went there a few years ago. Say what you want about the religion, but there are people that do adamantly believe in its teachings and it helps no one to mindlessly shame their beliefs. They ask for contact info upfront, but you don’t have to give them your real information. I think I gave them my email, but never got an email from them (or maybe I got one, definitely not the harassment I was expecting). There were two people there, tidy place, big book room, but expensive prices. They had a room for a video presentation about Scientology. I went to watch the video, told it was a half hour long. An hour passed and I was told it was almost over. After three hours I was only about 75% through the video. I left after that because I couldn’t stay (had to catch dinner). It would be better to be up front about how long the video would take because it can be frustrating for someone if they had things to do (luckily, I didn’t).The video itself was actually very well made and put together and discussed extensively the Scientology lore. Really, it answers anything you want to know about the lore of the founder and the belief system. Keep in mind, lore and belief systems are not historically constructed and to ask about the historical background of Scientology and its founder, you will have to go through other sources.As with everything, remain skeptical and don’t just give away money or information to an organization regardless of who they are or what they claim to do. Overall, it was a decent place. I had a good time.

HORRIBLE customer service. I spoke over email with Barbara. She told me I needed to give a phone number to get the results of my personality test. NO. I TOLD HER I didn’t feel comfortable providing a phone number AND SHE DIDNT CARE. I did get a cult kinda vibe From this place BUT I WAS OK WITH THAT. I will NEVER be joining after that conversation. She was RUDE, she was STERN, and she was unopen to new ideas. She NEVER asked me how my day was AFTER I ASKED HER TWICE. if you want people to join your cult GET BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE

Anyone heard of Leah Remini? If I was a scientologist, I would be so scared of her. Shes outing you and driving away your customer base. I say customer base because this place immediately tries to money grab. $600 for a beginners course! Dianetics is a really great piece of fiction writing, so they have that going for them

The Church of Scientology of Pennsylvania is a wonderful place. Its been like a second home to me for almost 20 years. The staff are the most caring people Ive ever met, the services are top notch, and you really get something for the courses and counseling you take. I can say that my stability, happiness and understanding of life have been greatly enhanced by what Ive gotten out of Scientology and especially the Philadelphia organization. Thanks guys, keep up the excellent work in bettering this area.

BEST thing Ive ever decided to join. Honestly, Ive never had a better 3 years of my life than when I decided to join Scientology. Great food, great venue. They couldve worked on the lighting a little bit, but thats not enough to complain about. Would return, 9/10. If anybody can find my family though, thatd be appreciated!! Thanks

The Church of Scientology of PA is an amazing place to go, learn and understand about life and oneself. I have been a Scientologist for over 20 years and found the staff to be composed of some of the finest folks Ive ever met. Their professionalism is second to none and their good intentions always shine through! The information in the courses has greatly helped me improve numerous areas in my life.

Wow! I had to come check it out myself-- fascinating information and it totally made sense. Friendly staff, welcomed me even though I dropped in. If you are in the area sometime I recommend stopping by-- you will leave intrigued.

But the intelligent thing to do is to seek your own counsel...in other words, check it out for yourself then decide if its for you, or not. (I can tell you unequivocally that if youre looking for answers to those questions youve always had but were afraid to ask, youre not alone and the answers could be right at your fingertips.)Dont be a coward. This is my home church, and where I was introduced to Scientology many years ago. I can absolutely tell you that without Scientology, I would be dead now. If you are curious about Scientology, find out for yourself. You cant always get the truth from the internet---go straight to the subject itself.

There are no plants, not very eco-friendly, and the waiter was rude. Insisted that I disconnect from reality when I just wanted the chicken parm I read about from others reviews.
