Dr. Rakel has been amazing. Ive seen many doctors who missed things that she was able to find. She is brilliant in figuring out which rare blood tests to run after attentively listening to your symptoms and thinks outside the box. She is also compassionate, mindful and really makes you feel heard, which has been rare to find in a good doctor.

Wow! She puts so much care and attention to detail during my time with her. I have a better understanding of my health now!

She might be a good person but she is very over extended. Have to wait very long to get appointment in addition she has time management issues. Waiting over an hour in the office when you have an appointment is NOT acceptable. We are customers and should be treated as such

If I could give a negative star review I would. I found Dr Rakel to be lacking in diagnostic skills and short sighted in her approach to treatment methodologies and clearly did not listen to her patients feedback. The so called integrated approach used in her office fuels this attitude as information shared with another doctor there in confidence (counseling session regarding patients past) made its way into a tirade from Dr Rakel when her frustration mounted. Unprofessional? Id say a breach of doctor/patient confidentiality. Beware of this office, this practice and this doctor in particular. Steer well clear.
