This place is extremely unfortunate and pathetic, they make you wait months and months to schedule an appointment just for them to say they do not have any availability and that you should seek services elsewhere how rude And unacceptable. Thai place should be a ashamed of their selves they are extremely neglectful of the child needs and or problems and concerns. I do not recommend save your time. They do not care about your child at all.

The hospital were you are suppose to be able to trust doctors and they failed miserably. The drug Zyprexa that CHOP gave her increased her weight. She gained 30 pounds in three months. This messed up her system and now she will be on a diabetic drug for years. She may have serious long term side effects,

CHOP should be ashamed of itself!! I have called them now going on 2 months to get my childs records sent over to NeurAbilites so my son can receive at home services. My son has special needs and I cant obtain at home services because CHOP cant get their act together to send over his records. I have called, and called, emailed, and left voice mails for the team for his records. If they cant do something so simple like FAX the staff needs to be fired!!

I was told they could not give me an appt date as they are booked out for 6 months but I could call back everyday to check if there has been a cancellation or opening.

Waiting more than a month for a report that their promise wouldn’t take more than 2 weeksIgnoring emails and calls , Chop is a great hospital for kids , really this department doesn’t honor the great name of Chop and should be intervene.

The doctors stick with the meds they prefer regardless of how you feel about how they work with your child and rarely defer from that regimen( which depends on the doctor) Ive gotten conflicting information from various doctors which is very confusing. They always bring other people in the room when we are having a session that should be private. In my experience they are quick with refilling scripts. The scheduling coordinators are very nice..but the level of service very much depends on which doctor you see as the ones who should be arrogant arent and the ones who shouldnt be are..

Horrible! I finally got through to someone today after trying for 3 months. They tell me to call back in a month or so when the Psychologist schedule opens back up. I understand they’re booked and worked to the max but dang! 3 months to be told wait another month?!?

I just called to schedule a initial visit appointment for my daughter and was told I had to wait 10-15 business days for someone call back for a phone screening. I think this unacceptable especially when mental health is concerned. I am very disappointed in CHOP. Ive never had an experience like this before.

Absolutely horrible! I wouldve gave a big fat 0 stars rating but couldnt. The staff doesnt know how to return your call! I tried many occasions to get an appointment for my child with the DR but kept getting the run around, hung up on or transferred to the wrong department. So frustrating. Months Ive been trying. Im done now.

For out patient services anywhere, there is a long delay in getting in to see a doctor. Recently, I have read reviews of numerous mental health services, and most have mixed reviews. Unfortunately, they are overwhelmed

This CHOP specialty pales in comparison to the rest of the Services at CHOP. They do not return calls, they loose messages, do not follow up. Considering the importance and occasional urgency that this specialty entails, I find the lax approach of this office unsettling.
