This place is sub-par at best- I tried out a manicure twice and both were a fail. The first one was a powder dip which was layered on in a way that was so just thick and cakey- it was clear they had no idea how to do dip powder or how to manipulate/layer the colors. I decided to give this place another shot in the event it was an isolated incident, i opted for gel the second time around and asked for cute nail art on my ring fingers (based on all the photos they had on their site) but it looked awful and something my 8 yo niece would have drawn, I can’t believe I paid extra for it. Long story short- pass on this place, there are plenty of better options out there.Edit to owner’s response: this is a review from your shoddy’s service past, I just hadn’t gotten around to it- but smart move on removing services you can’t properly perform yet still charged for.

La palette refused to take my deposit through cash app and insisted that I pay them through Venmo or Zelle. I told them that I didn’t have these payments type.. and they refused to accept any other form of payment. I went there before and was unable to get an appointment. I really believed because I was an African American in an Asian community. I urge any African American to not go to this place!! They cater to their own race and are not open to accept anyone else in 😢

Clean, modern luxe ambiance and truly great service! They put little flower petals in the soaking tubs for pedicures, and use a light lavender scented lotion, along with hot towels and massage.I got a gel mani and regular pedi, and the nail tech took her time to make sure each nail looked great. The nail techs also had really intricate designs on their own nails...check their yelp photos for more beautiful examples.

My eyelashes look beautiful. Such a relaxing atmosphere that I fell asleep while getting my eyes done. It was a great experience. I will be going back every three weeks and am also thinking of becoming a VIP member. Next, my eyebrows!!

Im soot happy with my haircut from Sunny. I never change my hairstyle and I wanted something different and daring. She was honest, told me I couldnt do what I had asked for which was a digital perm, but kindly gave me options. She ended up cutting 5 inches, but went inch by inch so I felt comfortable. I absolutely love my cut. I think Ive found my new hair stylist. Thanks sunny:)

Love this salon! I recently moved to Philly from KC where I had the best lash girl so I was nervous about having to find another person in a new city. After doing a bit of research I found La Palette to be the best option so I booked an appointment. Scheduling the appointment was super easy and they got me in right away! The salon is very pretty and clean! Everyone who works there is very professional and extremely nice. Typically a new set of lashed took my old girl about 2 hours, she was very detailed and thorough which I appreciated. I was shocked when I was in and out of La Palette in a little over an hour but what was even more shocking is how beautiful my lashed looked. I went in not knowing what to expect because I was so used to and loved my old girl but I was definitely impressed! Ive been going to La Palette now for about 5 months and I wont go anywhere else! There are 3 different ladies that do lash extensions there and they are all outstanding. They are priced reasonably and even offer membership packages which brings the price down even more. I go every week to get a fill and about every 3 weeks for a new set. However, right now Im letting them all shed because Im giving my natural lashes a break for a bit. Its been over a month since Ive had my lashes done and they still look amazing! If you are considering lash extensions or need a new lash place I highly recommend La Palette!

If you get your nails done in Philly, make the trip to Chinatown 100% worth it.Service I get done:gel manicure - limited colors but the ONLY colors you would ever want. A different brand but so strong. They also insure your nails up to a WEEK after service, fix it for free.gel pedicure - great massage chair, nice smelling soaps. They give you the businessEyelash extensions - not only are the prices more than reasonable, the lashes last so long. I am blown away how great they look and I constantly get complimented.Overall service- Great pricing, super cute salon with perfect ambiance. In the heart of Chinatown so surrounded by good food. Staff is so nice and efficient. Never had a wait time longer than a few minutes.

Staff was so great! They even massaged my neck while waiting for my nails to dry. The only down fall is that I feel the polish is not as strong or maybe if they applied another coat that it would last longer. It chipped quickly and not a small chip a large chip. They also told me I can come back up to 10 days to get them redone for free. Maybe they should get a stronger brand of polish. Other than that staff was great, friendly and place was clean.

Omg !! I just went to get my eyebrows clean but she don’t care fully about the waxing is all around my hair this is badly. I just got my hair done and go clean my Eyebrows. You should to be care fully. And don’t look at customer cheap and bad attitude

This place is amazing. The staff are so nice and do a great job. I got a manicure and pedicure and they did leg and arm massages. It was wonderful and pampering to me. Please go to this shop because it is the best in China Town

Just came in for an eyebrow wax. $10 and they were nice and quick. I think they did a great job. The place was really pretty. I took off 1 star because they didn’t have a dedicated space for brows so I sad in the pedicure chair.

Bad!! Cuticles are improperly cut and I was bleeding right away after she did it! Then I went back home noticing 3 other cuts that started to bleed. 2 days after I’m still bleeding and it still hurts. I’m worried cuz one of the cuts seemed to get infected already. I would never recommend this place. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

My girlfriend and I love to try new nail place, and we have been to fair amount of nail spots. and this place is ok... We made appointment but still had to wait for 20min for our turn. so whats the point of making it?! The service was pretty standard. But when I was done, I was charged for the dipping and also the manicure price. because appearantly they did two services?! My friend also paid for two service prices for changing her nail colors. We definitely not gonna be back.

This place was awesome! Came with my 2 younger daughters. Neck massage while my nails dried. Wow!!

La palette is great. They gave me a great gel mani, amazing service, and good products. They retouch your nails for up to 10 days for free even if it was your fault. You can pay with Venmo! I’ll def would recommend

Service is Great. Staff is Lovely. Its very Clean. The Decor. is nice. I have Alopecia and initially came here because it started to effect my eyebrow hair, and I was missing half of my brow. (Alopecia is a condition in which your immune system attacks your hair folicles) Now you cant tell that half my eyebrow is missing after the microblading. Im more happy with the service here than anywhere Ive been. CC has been very very helpful and shes one of the sweetest people youll meet. I highly recommend this place.Note: My eyebrows were just done so they look bold in this picture. Theyre still in the healing process.

Interior was beautiful, they gave me a $10 discount for gel mani and regular pedi. However... we came as a walk-in, they said they could take us, so we started with pedi. Pedi was good and still stands good. But I could see the guy didn’t know how to remove cuticles; they don’t use cuticle oils as well. Gel mani was worse.. :( i picked two colors and they didn’t turn out as the samples, I think it’s because it’s sparkling & may needed some base colored coat. With two coats of sparkle, the manager (seemed like one) was telling me it looked ok, but if I wanted they can give three coats instead. (!!! The point here is that it didn’t look ok at all.) When the guy was putting the manicure, he put so much polish on it so after the machine, he had to pile it and color back on! 😰 the ultimate reason why I don’t want to go back... it’s been a week and it started chipping already since two days ago. I hope the manager realizes the place is at good location with great interior, so use that with good nail technicians or train them!

You simply show them the picture and they’ll make the exact same one for you!Here I would like to say to the boss that in the United States, certain races always have persecution delusions. They attribute all their unsatisfactory things to their skin color. In fact, they are accustomed to playing the victim...it is also the most bullying of our Asians. They, they yelled that they were discriminated against while discriminating against us again.So don’t worry about the comment that gave you one star because you don’t have enough cash. We stand by you as compatriots!
