Had cataract surgery there. First for my right eye and then went back and had my left eye done. Dr. Repke is wonderful! I absolutely respect and appreciate her. She even called me to see how I was doing. Such a thoughtful gesture. From beginning to end in my opinion my experience was good. The staff were very attentive. They were right on top of things. The surgery center was immaculate. The anesthesiologist explained everything that I was going to feel. It was my first time under anesthesia. This was called twilight when youre not completely knocked out. But, youre aware of what is going on. However, I was calm and relaxed. After the procedure was finished, I was wheeled into the recovery area. The nurses were all so nice. Asked if I wanted anything to drink or eat. They even called my ride for me.Thank you, Wills Eye Surgery Center for everything!

Horrible staff. Had a surgical appointment for my mom at 930am. Arrived at 9am to checkin. Waited until 1030am to get brought back to get ready for surgery. Keep in mind, since anesthesia was being utilized, my mom couldnt eat or drink anything prior to this surgery. When we arrived in the back area for surgery prep, they didnt even have enough stretchers. So we continued to wait. They cram as many patients as possible with severely overlapped appointments without considering patient care or welfare. Per the doctor/surgeon who met with us, my moms type of surgery (Pterygium surgery) is typically performed later in the day. They prioritize cataracts. THEN WHY WOULD YOU SCHEDULE THIS SURGERY for 930am. So even though my mom was checked in and prepped, the doctor/surgeon decided to finish up all his cataract surgeries before starting on my moms surgery.

My experience there was so wonderful My pain management Dr. Koeningshberg worked wonders on my back. I couldn’t even bend over when I got there and on top of that I was so nervous. The staff there made me feel welcome. My nervousness went completely away.

My Mother was diagnosed with colon cancer thru this facility. They were very thorough, and made us feel at ease. The facility ran smoothly, and the staff were very friendly and patient with all our needs! I am now scheduling a endoscopy for myself and wouldnt want to have it done anywhere else! My mom is going to be fine, thanks to the competence and quick diagnoses from Dr Aronchick!
