We had a great experience boarding our senior citizen bull terrier Chess at Z Dog. This is a family run business and you can tell they love canines and will treat your fur family like family.

Just called and requested a last minute booking hoping they had some availability and the woman was extremely rude and irritated and said it was impossible and hung up on me. I understand if there was no availability but to be extremely rude and hang up on me in the middle of responding is extremely rude. I will not be returning or considering this place ever in the future if this is an example of how they treat people let alone our dogs.

Our dog has been going to Z Dog for a few weeks now and we could not be more pleased with Natalie, Jose and the facility/location. We have put our giant pup in other day cares around the city but none of them compare. Mainly, we love that crate time is not forced upon them. There’s a very nice fenced in yard and the owners/staff post videos of the dogs playing together daily! What really made us feel most comfortable in choosing Z Dog was the tour we given during our orientation. My boyfriend and I are still having to go into work right now and Natalie and Jose have brought us great peace of mind knowing our dog is well taken care of. For that alone, we are forever grateful. I truly cannot recommend Z Dog enough!

Ive been using Z Dog Walkers for the past 6 years and they have always gone above and beyond to accommodate my schedule and take great care of my beloved senior pup! Vito always enjoys his mini-petcations.They always treat him just like their own and make sure he gets lots of love and plenty of couch time. Knowing they take great care of my dog always makes my trips more relaxing and enjoyable!

Our two dogs love going to z dog! We were worried about our second dog that is a nervous mess but after talking with Z dog they came up with a plan on how to introduce our second dog alone and then both together. We received update from them and now both of our dogs cant wait to go. There is an outdoor and indoor space for the dog to run around and also space to rest and relax! We are really happy and would reccomend to everyone

This place is not professional and looks like an abandoned warehouse. You can get a actual daycare with classes, toys and happy instructors elsewhere for the same price. If your dog is part of your family, don’t leave them there!

For approximately 9 months, Z dog has provided excellent pet care for my rescue dog, Fin. I work 16-18 hr days and they have picked up Fin from my home, watched him play and rest in their daycare, and then dropped him off. When I come home, he is content and seems to have had a fun day. I have appreciated their close communication and flexibility through schedule changes, and we will sorely miss them! I would recommend Zdog pet daycare to anyone in the city with a playful pup!

Cant say enough good things about this place, they truly treat your dog like their own. Not only are Jose, Natalie and the staff all phenomenal, but the facility is top notch. We had our dog at a few of the other day cares in the city before we moved, and she really didnt do well in a small room packed with dogs. At z dog, she gets to be inside and outside depending on the weather. And even when shes forced inside, the room is spacious so the dogs dont feel cramped. The outside area is huge, with lot of space to roam.Our dog has significant noise anxiety issues, so they even let her go into their office during storms so she can crawl under the desk.Great people and great facility. Cant beat it

Z Dog takes extraordinary care of my little guy, Russ ! He can be a handful, but the kind, caring people know just how to handle him. Russ RUNS into Z Dog day care and he comes home collected and tired from his wonderful day. I do appreciate the online posts of all the dogs having fun outside, and Natalies wonderful songs about the pack having fun. This is a good business/service to have in our neighborhood. I have used Z Dog Walkers since I moved here 2 years ago. I have consistently used them for walks, doggy day care and boarding. They are top notch in terms of kindness, dependability and flexibility. I have been in desperate situations when they were there to save me (and my dog Maggie:) and have enjoyed numerous vacations knowing Maggie was in the best hands with Natalie and Jose. I would highly recommend them if you desire the best care for your dog!

Excellent isnt even enough to describe the treatment that my dog gets at Z dog walkers! They go above and beyond in care, responsibility and kindness. Not only do they love every animal that they watch, but also they treat them as their own and make them feel right at home! I wouldnt take my animals anywhere else. I truly loved bring my dog Fred to Z Dog day care. It is obvious how much the team cares about the dogs that they care for. The area they have is huge and has both indoor and outdoor space. They separate dogs by energy level so my energetic pup never causes any other dogs any issues. They clearly care for my dog and I trust them with all needs that Fred has. They also seen to continue reinforce training with Fred which is a huge help! They also do pet-cations where they stay at someones house instead of a kennel. I couldnt be happier with them and love using their services. There really is no better alternative in the grad hospital area. Fred is a happy and tired pup after daycare and we will continue to support them as long as we live in the area!

I would recommend Z Dog Walkers to any pet owner in Philly. They have done an excellent job walking (and pet sitting) our dog Truman, and have been extremely flexible and accommodating with us. When we call or email with emergency situations or late requests, they have responded quickly and gone above and beyond our expectations. When Z Dog Walkers found out we were getting married, they even lent Truman a doggy tuxedo for our wedding!We love the daily notes detailing our pets activities, and look forward to the occasional picture of him on Facebook. Outside of my parents, they are the only people we trust with our pet.

Jose and Natalie not only genuinely care about the animals they look after, they have insights into canine behavior that Ive found invaluable and are highly professional. These things I already knew about them. One year ago this month, however, I felt truly grateful to have them in our lives.Within one, crazy week, my dog Donut was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. She developed breathing problems because her lungs were filled with fluid. She could barely stand, let alone walk. While she spent her final days in Penn Vet Hospitals emergency department, Jose called me. He asked me about Donuts condition and expressed his sympathy. Although she was very pregnant at the time, Natalie even wanted to visit Donut so she would not feel so alone. I was so touched that they reached out to me when I was so helpless and alone.A great pet concierge service is so much more than providing basic care for your companion animals when you are at work or on vacation. Z Dog Walkers proved this to be true when they made a simple phone call that terrible week. They did not have to, but they did, and that is why I am forever grateful and recommend them to all.

I really cant say enough positive things about Jose and Natalie. Having adopted a socially anxious dog less than a month before I had to leave her overnight, I was extremely cautious about choosing someone to watch her while I was away. However, I couldnt have been more happy with Jose and Natalies care of Boo. They graciously accommodated my specific requests and even sent pictures/status updates without my prompting. In fact, I was more than pleased with how well Boo seemed to be adjusting to her new friends. I have now used Zs Dog Walking twice and cant recommend a better dog walker/sitter than Jose and Natalie!

I met with Natalie for a consultation explicitly explaining how to handle my dog on a leash. She reassured me saying it will be no problem. So others are aware, Z Dog Walkers has multiple walkers come into your home, as opposed to one assigned walker. This can be stressful for some dogs.After two weeks, I received an email stating immediate termination of service. Little information was given in the email explaining what happened. My information was given to a third party (your privacy isnt protected in their contract), and after hearing from them, NOT Z Dog Walkers, I was upset to find out that my dog was put in a situation that I explicitly explained never to do. The third party described the walker as someone other than Natalie, and that it seemed the walker didnt know anything about my dogs history. Moreover, I found a picture of my dog on their Facebook page with his harness on wrong (which I clearly explained during my meeting with Natalie).After following up multiple times, I never received a call or email explaining the situation further and still dont even know who was walking my dog, I never even met them! And after repeated attempts with the only response, We received your message, and will return your keys soon, I finally received my keys back DAYS later.DO NOT use Z Dog Walkers. They do not follow instructions, communicate with their staff, or have the courtesy to return your messages. I believe my dog was put in an unsafe situation by Z Dog Walkers carelessness in following their clients instructions and general safety rules of walking dogs they should know as a dog walking business.

I would absolutely recommend Z Dog! You can tell how sincerely they care about the pets they look after. They treat our Addy like family and are always a great resource for training advice.

I just started sending my dog to Z Dog Walkers for Doggy Daycare once a week. In just the two times she has been there, Ive seen a great improvement. My dog, Miley, has a lot of anxiety issues and isnt very friendly toward other dogs. She has become more social and will now approach other dogs to say hi - something Ive been working on with her for years and have spent a lot of money on trainers to help with. Overall, Im so happy to let Z Dog Walkers take Miley for the day for daycare and I know that when I get home from work she had a fun-filled day with lots of love and attention. Also, their pick up and drop off services are so easy and convenient. I have to travel into my office early in the morning and dont get back until after the daycare closes. Id highly recommend them to my family and friends who need pet care in the city.

My wife and I have been delighted with the care that our dog has received from Z Dog Walkers. Our dog is genuinely excited every time one of the Z Dog Walkers friendly staff comes by to pick her up for doggie day care, and she is thoroughly exhausted when she gets home. She clearly gets plenty of attention and exercise on each visit. More importantly for us, our dogs visits with Z Dog Walkers has been great for her social development. Before we started sending her to doggie day care, she lacked confidence and was habitually anxious around new people and other dogs she didnt know. Thanks to her visits with Z Dog Walkers, our dog is much more confident and eager to meet new people and dogs. We cant recommend Z Dog Walkers enough.

As a veterinarian and a dog owner I cant say enough good things about Z Dog Walkers! It was obvious from the start that its not just a job- they genuinely love animals. Theyre extremely dependable and trustworthy. My dog gets so excited when its time for her walk. She also recently stayed with them for a week while we were on vacation and I didnt worry once. Even the best boarding kennel can be stressful for a dog so I was very happy to know she was in a loving home. Im pretty sure she was sad when it was time to come home. My dog isnt always good with other dogs and they take the utmost care to make sure she doesnt get into any trouble.Ive had other pet sitters that I wasnt thrilled about but Z Dog Walkers are the best!

My dog had a wonderful time with ZDogWalkers this week on his PetCation! Its not easy to find quality, experienced dog day care and boarding for my dog - he means the world to me - and I only want the best for him. I enjoyed the peace of mind that my pup was safe & having fun; While he enjoyed walks in the park, lots of playtime and belly rubs, and snuggling up with their dogs to share happy doggy dreams of love and treats. I am so delighted to have found ZDogwalkers to care for my dog when I am working & traveling. He loves his new home away from home, and looks forward to his dog day care this week and upcoming Petcations soon .

Yesterday, while walking in Old City I saw 2 dogs left in the Z Dog Walkers car in 93 degree weather. They were left without the air on, all alone for at least 15 minutes. (I dont know how long it was, but I saw them alone for that amount of time.) They both were panting severely and looked like they were very overheated. How can a professional pet care company think this is ok? Is leaving dogs in your car considered a walk? Im disgusted by this behavior. Anyone knows in only take a few minutes in extreme heat to damage animals.

This place is so unprofessional and so unorganized. They are super overpriced for day care and weekend stays. They are not responsive through emails or phone calls, especially if you are trying to get your money refunded. Both of the owners are never on the same page and will give you a different response for any questions asked. I recently tried to get refunded for a week because they decided they did not want to watch my dog for his stomach issues even though I provided a vet note stating he can return and is not contagious or a danger to others. When I called and emailed them THREE TIMES they finally answered me and stated their policy says they can terminate services whenever they feel like it. Disgusting establishment, I DO NOT RECOMMEND sending your dog here.
