Our dog Bex absolutely loves it there. She always has so much fun playing with the other dogs and playing on the equipment. She adores the staff just as much as they do her. She knows when she gets in the car where shes going and once were there she pulls on the leash til were in the building. Cant recommend this place enough!

I just love Philly pet Villas! My Lucky has been boarding here for a couple of years now. They take such great care of him.This Last boarding experience from July 31st for 8 nights and 1 day has been a lot for Lucky he came back exhausted, lol.They were concerned bc his bowels were loose and had blood in it, they said it was due to stress, they immediately called me as ask for authorization to treat him which I was familiar with. By the time I picked him up he was just fine. I love this place so much I travel from Delaware to use their services.The only down fall I have is Im sure bc of Covid, the prices have increased which hit me hard! Nonetheless, I recommend The Philly Pet Hotel& Villas to care for your fur baby or babies.

Five stars truly isn’t enough to show just how happy we were with our experience here! The staff is amazing and caters to each fur baby no matter what their personality is. We got updates for both of our pets, and it’s apparent that they were loved on just as much there as they are at home. We were also able to book a grooming appointment for our pup during her stay, and she came out looking better than she ever has!Our pup can be wary of new people and doesn’t like other dogs, so it’s been years since we felt comfortable boarding her somewhere. We are so happy to have found our go-to place here in Philly.

They made me and my girlfriend comfortable about our pups stay at their establishment. The owner is very passionate about his business and goes above and beyond to make sure the pet owner feels that they are making the right choice I greatly recommend this to anyone looking to go on a trip but cant find a pet sitter

Bad haircut, great stay!Our dog stayed for a week, and while the rest of the week was fine, we opted for the bath and groom while they were there. Big mistake. Very choppy and poorly done, we ended up having to get another haircut to even out the face and body trim.Nice hotel, avoid the groomer.

Great place. I have a tri color pitbull and it was his first time staying in a boarding place. I even took a tour around the place prior to boarding him. He is a puppy and had a great time. The team here was very responsive and provided me updates on how he was doing during his stay. I will be going back here.

We just found our favorite doggie hotel!Olivia loved it! when we pick her up she was happy and looking healthy, ( never happened before in other pet hotels, by the end of her stayed, our dog was always very skinny and stressed).The workers knew very well our dog when we came to pick her up, we never gave them many details about her favourite toys, or her obsession with her bedding, or her not liking metal bowls, and they told me all this things, so I can tell that they spend a good time with her and they treat her with so much love. REALLY HAPPY!! Thank you for taking such a good care of Olivia!

This may be long but it’s well worth it if you’re looking for an honest review. I don’t usually write them but I think it’s important for this business.If I could give this pet hotel 10 stars, I would. I have a very hard time leaving my dogs in the care of anyone that isn’t my mom. My oldest is 10 and usually stays with her grandmom but my youngest ( a little over 1 year ) gets boarded since he can be a handful.Let me tell you, I have NEVER trusted a boarding facility like I trust Philly Pet Hotel. My dogs, much like many pet parents, are treated as my children. For that reason, I have high standards and I can firmly say Philly Pet Hotel treats Dewey beyond my expectations. They are compassionate, considerate, helpful, responsive, kind, professional, efficient and the facility is always pristine. Cleanliness is important to mention because I can say from experience (I’m a veterinary nurse :]) it’s typically difficult to keep a pet oriented business pristine but somehow they manage that well. Jared (hopefully I’m spelling that right) has been more than accommodating, has provided me with the utmost comfort and provided top notch service. Even if he doesn’t realize it, he put my fears at ease and allowed me to travel several hours away without any worry for Dewey.Dewey can be sensitive and have some stranger danger making him slow to warm up to strangers and is very expressive if he’s upset. When Dewey walks out of his kennel at Philly Pet Hotel he trots out with a smile. He says goodbye to the staff and is all wags. They communicated that he ate his meals normally, had normal excretions, got his night night treats and even washed his bedding. He was completely ready to go when I got there.You do have to pay extra for certain services but they’re always upfront about cost, it’s clearly written on their website and they always answer financial questions if there are additional things you need to know. If you want play time, photos, a bunch of other services, and a nice big bed, I suggest going with a villa as it comes with all of that.I really can’t express my appreciation enough for this place. I would drive over an hour to board my pets here. I’d even board my old girl there if need be. I know they would both be loved and cared for, maybe even more than they are by me. The cost is appropriate and fair, maybe too fair for the quality of service they provide. Dewey is out cold now.... and we can’t thank Jared and the rest of the staff at Philly Pet Hotel enough.We love you Philly Pet Hotel.Xoxo,Dewey and Family

Philadelphia Pet Hotel is incredible! I will not take my “fur baby” anywhere else. The staff is caring and loves your pets as their own. I just recently called to find out boarding availability and Jared answered the phone. I said my name he immediately said “when’s our Zoey girl coming to see us?”. He remembered my dogs name from my name. It is this kind of attention to customers and their pets that won me over and it’s their exceptional attention and care of my dog that keeps bringing me back.

The only place I trust to board my cat, she has the best time with the staff. They have a large cat condo with plenty of room and they offer free playtime. My first time boarding I called every other day and the staff were so reassuring. Going on my third time now and I don’t think my pet wants to come home! Can’t say enough good things about this place.

The staff was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and very sympathetic and loving to my dog. Dr. Rebecchi is absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough great things about this Veterinarian Hospital which provided excellent care at a very reasonable price. I recommend it to anybody who has pets to bring them here for either routine or emergency care.

Our son Gladio stayed here for 4 nights while we were away. They took great care of him and we were confident that he was in good hands. They sent us a photo update each day and he played so much he was exhausted for days after we picked him up. Definitely recommend them as well as their daycare.

We took our dog there for the first time today and I was IMPRESSED! We were very nervous as she is a newer rescue and we’ve only had her for about 4 months. But they did GREAT. The guy in charge made us feel very comfortable and reassured that they take all the precautions with new dogs and told us her entire schedule for the day. He explained things to us that we didn’t ever take into consideration as new dog parents. They took an evaluation of her and gave us a full report when we picked her up. And the price is right! Not ridiculous charges for anything. $20 dollars for a full day of daycare where she got paid attention to, played with, had exercise time outside with other dogs, got walked, and fed!! Are you kidding?! That’s awesome! So glad we found this place!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! Can’t wait to bring back the pup!

Dog Pool is worth the trip

My husband and I love The Philadelphia Pet and so does Dutchess and Tank. Weve taken several trips and The staff truly care about animals. The place is immaculate I highly recommend anyone to trust their pets to them. YOU WONT BE SORRY..

From my past experience and I have a lot of animals but the Philadelphia animal hospital is one of the best hospitals for your animal to take and I highly recommend them thats a hospital that doesnt just take your money but takes care of your animal 100%. I trust them with my animals

Dr. Rebbechi was wonderful. She treated my cat with love and affection and showed compassion to me; she is just like her dad!I wasnt pleased, however, with my checkout experience and long waits for return calls. And I think my cat was in excruciating pain when someone cut his nails as I heard him scream!😣

I would highly recommend this place. My recent rescue pup stayed here for a few days and they found out he had worms in his stool. They called us and got our consent for treatment, treated him promptly from the pet hospital next door and removed him from the other dogs. They let us know that he would have extra individual play time since he couldn’t have group play ❤️In addition, when my pup first met the owner, he growled at him a bit. The owner was unphased and diffused the situation immediately by turning away from my pup and offering him a treat when he calmed down a bit.

My dog came back different. Like good different. This was a spiritual experience for him.

I have a very nervous poodle who can be difficult at times. Jared(the owner) and other staff take a lot of time and effort with each animal to make sure they have a comfortable stay. I have nothing negative to say. This is also the only time I have picked up my dog from a kennel and not have her smell horrendous . She smells the same if not better than when I dropped her off.I can tell this is not only a business but a passion. They really love animals and won’t have to worry about them when you’re away.

My dogs have always loved coming here. Great staff. Easy to work with. If your dog does group play, they get evaluated before they are allowed into a group, which is great.

They will take good care of your baby or babies, with all types of options for any puppy personality type, definitely not a one size fits all care facility! One of my dogs has anxiety and stress around other dogs/new situations and does not do well in group play. I was always worried at other boarding facilities that he was going to be mistreated because he can be difficult at times especially when the only options were for him to participate in group play or stay alone in his small pen all day. Unlike many other boarding facilities around Philly they give custom interactive services for dogs who do not feel comfortable in a group setting and make sure that each dog is as comfortable as possible while in their care. If you have big dogs or your dog is used to sleeping on your mattress at night this place is wonderful because of the large amount of room choices. The staff always puts my nerves at ease and the boys always come back happy.

This Place is Great. They really care about the pets being boarded there. They take very good care of them. They even have a swimming pool for dogs.

The owners to the staff are fabulous. They took care of Nero like their own. I have been back more than once and will be the only place Nero will stay.

Best place ever for your pets needs

I Dropped off my dog at 7:OOam for a grooming service. His grooming was decent, I cant complain, however they kept him all day, without feeding him. I personally left food, and snacks for him, and they said they were going to feed him. They did not give him any water. I am very disappointed. When I picked him up at 4:00pm . I asked the front desk person if they fed him or gave him water, and his answer was No I was told We didnt have time, it was really busy My dog was upset, starving , and thirsty. I was pleased with the grooming service, it was just how my dog was handled in other matters. Based of prior reviews, I thought it was going to be a good experience, but I am afraid to give them another chance, and put my Puppy through the same struggle.

I recommend this place to anybody they did real good on my dog you wont be back till next year for his next annual shots beautiful please

This place is amazing!

I have used this place many times. I saw how many positive reviews they have so I figured it was time to write mine. I have had nothing but good experiences with this business and have had bad experiences with other doggy daycare facilities. I will not mention names as it could have been a bad day for someone.

They have helped my dog over the years. All 13 years and counting. Shes had two surgeries and recovered quick. They are always kind and helpful even in emergencies with giving advice. The building is clean and spacious. There is also ample parking.

The place is clean. The people are great. Its clear they really care about animals. Theyve gone out of their way to make our dogs feel comfortable, including play time AND lap time. Its also comforting to know that they have a veterinarian right next door. And their proximity to the airport is super convenient for dropping them off and picking them up before and after trips.

Got me in and out fast also got an appointment that day

We always loved the Philly Pet Hotel and Villa for our furbaby and he was going there for 5 years until recently. The Philly Pet staff was always so helpful and friendly. We do have a more high energy pup but the staff always reassured us that he was doing awesome and always had so much fun with the other dogs. Up until the new policy change in 2020 when we were informed that he could no longer play with the other pups because he was a “two-lead” dog which we never even heard of. Not one staff member ever communicated that to us, so we had no clue how long that was implemented with our dog in that 5 year window. While we were fine with the two-leads due to his demeanor towards new staff members, we were not okay that he couldn’t have play time with the other dogs, and more upset that they never shared that with us when we asked about his stays. Thankfully, we are at a new facility where our dog is thriving with other pups during doggie daycare. Communication is KEY especially when our furbabies mean the world to us!!

Absolutely couldnt be happier with my pets stay here, my dog can be very nervous. I was so nervous leaving her in a new place for the first time. My dog, Slider, needed a place to stay in the city for my wedding. I was having a friend pick her up, bring her for pictures and drop her back off. I got her a bath before my friend picked her up as well. I couldnt be more pleased with the staff and how friendly and helpful everyone was. There were no issues with her stay, and her bath was exactly what she needed to be picture ready! When I picked her up the day after the wedding, the staff was so sweet and asked me all about the event and told me how well Slider did during her stay. When they brought her from the back, she was calm and happy which was something Ive never seen of her at the kennel. I wish they were closer to my house so I could use them more often! I will be leaving her here again in the summer on our way to the shore. I highly recommend the Philadelphia Pet Hotel and Villas!

This is the only place I leave my pup Ellie when we go on vacation! Not only is it a convenient location (really close to the airport) but the staff, ALL of the staff have always been so amazing! They send you email updates if you want, of your pup with the best captions! They always go above and beyond every time she stays here. Weve been boarding her here for the past three years and would never board anywhere else!Thanks for always being so awesome!

I love that I chose them to be my primary vet. Weekend and evening hours. They never seem annoyed when I bug them with questions. ALWAYS parking and my dog loves every vet she has seen here. They even have a pool for the pups!

So as of 9/192019 my 9 year old active dog was cared for by this place for 6 days while i visited my family over seas. This is the 4th and last time i will use them became the supervision of your animals is either lacking or not qualified. I returned from my trip and picked up my dog via late check out. I immediately noticed my dog, who i sent down in perfect condition would no longer run or jump and after further personal examination was hurt in his lower back .I called The next day and asked for an answer and Dena I’m not certain of her title states that it may be because he’s 9 and sometimes dogs play rough outside . She had no concrete response to what happened to my dog. I told her i would give him a few weeks to see how he is . It’s been 2 weeks and he still will not run we are going to the vet to see what the problem is I generally am not one for writing reviews but this dog is very important to me and is a loyal family member i will never use this place again because the response i got was lacking and not sufficient once i find out what’s really wrong with my dog i will repost another review

My dog loves going here, despite the fact she literally hates everything and everyone that doesnt involve her house, and my wife and I. She hates all people, all other dogs, yet loves it here. They do a really great job grooming her too. Shes a St Bernard, and sheds constantly. Yet, after the deshedding process from here, she spends a week or 2 looking perfect and not shedding a single hair. I still cant believe she likes coming here

My parents have been seeing our vet for probably over 20 years and they adore him! He is such a caring vet towards all of our animals and helps out in anyway he can when it comes to them. Every animal Ive ever had has gone to Dr. Rabecci!

I see that these reviews are quite old and need to be updated. I can tell you that my experience here was great. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Our dog was well cared for. I will be using them again We were happy with the services provided. Also comforting to know that a terrific veterinarian is on site.

Ignore the old reviews, those are from when it was owned by different people. Now it is well managed with a great staff. Clean both inside and outside with great boarding options, their villas are nicer than some hostels I have stayed at. The staff is very knowledgable and impressive.

Havent used the boarding but I have taken many foster animals to the hospital. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. They do a wonderful job treating even the most pathetic animals and treating each one as an individual.

Thorough exam and not a long wait to get an appointment. Nice staff, confidence inspiring vet and reasonable fees too!

Always such a friendly atmosphere, took my dog to get his annual shots he got his shots no problem no yelping, fussing or crying. The staff there seem to be so gentle with all the animals I dont think I would ever go to any other vet.

Ive been taking my babies there since they were 6 weeks old and the service have always been excellent but the last couple of months front desk area have lost they touch a little bit other than that dr. Lawrence is still a very good veterinarian to take your babies too

Very expensive and the docs didnt even bother to look at the other problems my dog has, costing me more than $200 each visit! If it was not because she was so aggressive with other animals I wont even bother to go there!

After being dissatisfied with 3 other boarders over the course of the last 2 years we have settled on Philadelphia Pet Hotel and its good to have a place we can count on. You can choose different types and durations of activity time for each day you board your dog, the place always looks clean, and the staff are friendly and excited to see your dog come in. Our dog has come home from other boarders with a lost voice from barking for days on end, and once with battle wounds from a tussle with another dog, but nothing like that from here after many visits.

I felt comfortable leaving our dog, Duke, with them. Seemed very clean and organized. The only one issue I have is that they never seem to answer the phone. They rather let it go to voicemail.

The staff makes sure my dog is attended to. They make it a point to ensure my guy is well cared for. I trust them fully, and having my vet attached lets me rest easy just in case anything occurs.

Friendly staff great location plenty of parking and most importantly my pet was well taking care of !

I give them full rating for everything but their phone service and lack of an online scheduling system. They are excellent at grooming and their facility is great and their prices are phenomenal. BUT theyre bad at answering the phone and they book up so fast; if they had an online scheduling system this wouldnt be a problem, but when they dont answer their phones most often its hard to book anything in time. Please hire more people to answer phones or create a scheduling system so I dont have to get frustrated trying to talk to someone!
