Do not go here, especially if you are not white. I went to see Dr. Jennifer and she barely addressed any of the issues I came in for. She asked to see my face and said I was breaking out when I only have one pimple and did not come for face skin issues. She was very rude, barely said hello & even told me that you shouldnt use moisturizer which is so inaccurate and false. Most of my appointment was spent asking about my racial background and ethnicity, and she even made a comment saying I bet its nice to not be the people discriminated against right now, which was a disturbing comment to make, and shows their lack of cultural competency. I will not be returning.

The receptionist was very rude!!! Need better customer training. No wonder this place has all these horrible reviews. I will never support a place like this. I can only imagine seeing them face to face.

I’ve been going her for about 4/5 months and seen three times. The service is good, wait is not long. The doctor cares about her Patient and takes time if there are any questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend.

I have gotten good care and proper information from Dr. Parish. He is very professional and is usually timely. I recently had two major surgeries and he kindly inquired about both. He has a dry sense of humor which i like..kinda old school but props to him!

My son has been to the Torresdale Office. He is only 14 and he has Acne. Not terrible, however bothersome enough for him. DR. Parrish SR (man) counted my sons pimples on his face as well, however by the second visit, and having to purchase most medicine out of pocket, I ordered Proactive MD. It is working better than anything prescribed in only a few days. The DR. does have a tough rough exterior, however he is simply sure of himself, and confidence sometimes breeds quickness and curtness. Unintentional I am sure. As for the receptionist??? Yet to be seen. Did not take note.

I have been with Dr. Jennifer Parish for over 15 years and she is absolutely the best! She came highly recommended to me from two different people and Ive never gone to anyone else. She is to the point and honest about how you would look with specific cosmetic procedures. She really is terrific!

My mother went in for a procedure to remove a skin cancer from her nose. She has gotten progressively worse since the procedure. We call the office - no call back. Called again and were told doctors were out of country at conference. Does anyone cover? No. Are you kidding???????? We are now on our way to the ER - NOT at Aria...what a disgrace.

Dr Jennifer Parish was thorough and kind. She helped me with my itchy skin. I had been suffering for months without any relief. She spent the time to ask me questions to figure out my issues. It turned out to be Advil!

I’ve been going to this dermatologist for about 3 years now. He has given me everything from oral medication to topical solutions but nothing works. When I go to see him all he does is count my pimples and give me more of the things that were already not working. My skin is worse now than before I started going here. I’ve finally changed to a new MD. Not to mention the long waits and he’s very rude when he wants to be.

Dr. Lawrence Parish is by far the rudest doctor I have ever gone too. Did not ask me if I had an allergies and did not warn me when he starting freezing moles on my back. It was painful and his comment was No pain no gain. Very unprofessional and I will never go back to him. I will be calling my PCP and let them know not to recommend him anymore or his office.

I give zero stars. From the moment my husband, my son, and I walked into the office the staff (the woman behind the desk and Dr. Parish) were extremely RUDE! Actually they were rude from the phone call the day before. When I asked if they took our insurance the receptionist said adamantly NO and then said goodbye, I said wait wait do you take cash, so she said yes so then ok I would like to take the 10:00 appt for tomorrow that is on your website she angrily stated that someone else took that appointment and said if you want tomorrow you’re gonna have to take an earlier appointment. I said ok (I wanted my husband seen asap). As soon as we walk in three people walked by us (including Dr. Parish) looked us over NO ONE said hello and then the receptionist came out and sternly told my husband to get rid of his coffee. So then we find out from that same receptionist (on the phone the day before) that they in fact DO take his insurance and then asked for a referral (which I obviously did not have), so my husband called his doctor which they were about to electronically send it when the Dr., Dr. Parish came out and held her hand open like a lego guy and said to my husband (like he was a child) “I’ll take that” (coffee) and the receptionist said I already told him. We walked out. Wow. That office is like an energy trap and my chest was heavy for 20 minutes after. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I saw him yesterday for the first time!! And I will be not go back, first of all the girls in the front desk, is a stupid, when I get there I sing in and sit down, waiting for her to call me for the registration process, but she didnt call me, so when I see that she called before me I asked her why she call someone who arrive after me, she said because she didnt understand my name on the list 🙄Also the Dr. Was professionalism missing to me.

Receptionist is unbelievabley rude cannot believe she is working in healthcare. I was 15 min early for my 915 appointment - office said they left a voicemail that Md had backed up appointments until after 10, which they never did and I had proof with my cell phone that there were no calls from them. another patient showed up for same Dr. for an appointment at 10, so I asked when I would be seen. receptionist became overly defensive with her head bobbing back and forth with a death stare -says that we will all be seen at 10 when the dr. comes in (doesnt make sense) then proceeded to say patients will be seen first come first serve. then she tells the other pt that earlier appointments received a voicemail, as if to blame this all on me. I say there was no voicemail and she snaps back that the doctor isnt here so it doesnt matter either way does it. I wasnt even mad about having to wait, but absolutely appalled by the receptionists attitude.

My appointment was with Dr. Jennifer Parish, I felt that she did not take the time to give me a proper check up, The doctor did not give any explanation of what my skin marking were or what i should look for in the future. Very automated and anonymous exam. I canceled my follow up. i think doctors in private practice should be more than a automated treatment mill, Needless to say that i was not impressed and i would certainly not recommend them.

I rushed to Parish on my lunch break (jogging from University City) as a first time patient for a rash that I have seen several doctors for at Jefferson and Bryn Mawr Dermatology that could not pinpoint the cause or the best treatment. I filled out a few HIPPA forms and disclosures and afterwards was seen RIGHT away. After examining the area and discussing my lifestyle, job/pets/ etc for only a few minutes he was sure he had the proper diagnosis and explained why the ointments and creams that I was prescribed at Jefferson and BMD wouldnt help. He wrote me a quick prescription, scheduled me for a follow-up and I was on my way in less than 25 minutes which the majority of was spent on our conversation (not waiting like many other places I have been). As quick and painless as the appointment was, he was thorough and was sure to address any other questions that I had. Will definitely be going back! Thank you!

Super bizarre visit to Dr. Parrish. She was curt, rude, and I honestly felt treated me and my procedure with such an insane lack of care and gentleness. Ive never felt that way in a medical setting. I almost left before the procedure because I felt so uncomfortable and she had to numb me multiple times very painfully which has never been necessary for me before. Gross. Not to mention rude receptionist.
