Been going to this dentist for about 5 years. Made an appointment for a check up and cleaning for myself and my two sons. Reception called the day before to confirm the appointment. Got to the office today and the receptionist shoved a $75 bill from 2016 in my face and told me if I didnt pay it my son would not be seen by the dentist. The statute of limitation of medical debt collection in PA is 4 years. And the receptionist could have told me about this 5 year old bill when she called to confirm. I will not be returning to this dentist or anyone under the management of this company. They are rude, extremely aggressive, debt vultures. Long time clients should not be treated as such. Now they lost an entire family.

As someone who HATES going to the dentist, I actually am looking forward to the visit. Dr. George was so kind and very gentle. The sound of the instruments is what usually sets me off but not this time. Receptionist was warm and welcoming, Dental Assistant was as well. Everything was well explained in detail from all parties. The bonuses, the chair has a great view while you’re getting your work done. Highly recommend this practice.

My mother saw the doctor, he was nice and pleasant. I am giving a score of 1 because she was billed for a procedure after the hygienist and staff convinced her that the fees would be fully covered by her insurance. They are not honest and very vague in dealing with their patients. We will not go back to A Dental Group at Washington Square.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Of the dozen or so issues I have had with this place, I will just list off a few of the more egregious ones here.1. Drilled my first cavity I have ever had too deep, leading to the filling they put in to fall out shortly after.2. Upon arriving to get a new filling for the one that fell out, was informed that the doctor decided to not put in the replacement filling and would only put in a crown. Zero notification or warning about this until I was at the appointment for the filling.3. Receive a treatment plan for the crown for $200. Arrive to get crown put in at new appointment and told its actually $750.4. On top of the extra $550 they were trying to squeeze out of me, they claimed that I owed several hundred dollars from previous visits that my insurance did not pay. Upon contacting my insurance company, they promptly dispelled that narrative, and provided proof of payment while hinting at a scam. They could not believe that the office was trying to charge a member for unpaid balances from the insurance company, and that they did not bring up the unpaid balances to Aetna right away back in 2019. I also quickly pulled up my credit card statements from 2019 and showed all the payments accounted for. The clueless office manager or whatever his role is gave me some lady named Betsys number to call, who of course did not answer.5. After all this, I still have a massive gap in my teeth due to their incompetence in dentistry. I will also most likely be dealing with their general incompetence and attempted financial scamming and up-charging for a while to come.DO NOT RECOMMEND. I am now suspicious that I even had a cavity in the first place after all the shady stuff they have tried to pull.

I reached out via email to request an cleaning weeks ago. When I hadn’t heard anything I called to schedule an appointment. The operator at the outsourced call center was so rude that I hung up! You just lost 2 new patients!

The routine cleaning went smoothly until I received the bill and realized that I was billed (invoice no : #16450) for procedures that did not take place. I asked the clinic to send me the procedure results so far I’ve not heard anything but kept receiving the same invoice. I think I will call my insurance to initiate an investigation. If anyone has similar experience, please post !

Great dentist! Very clean office, follows all the Covid guidelines given by the ADA, so I felt very safe. Dr Hassler is so thorough. He takes his time to explain everything and he is so gentle. He is never trying to push unnecessary treatments. I’ve only ever seen him at this office, so can’t comment on the other dentist here. So glad I found this office!

Very disorganized office and not helpful with customer service. For months now I have been dealing with their mistake in submitting a claim to my insurance. Save yourself the headache and waste of time and go to another dentist.

Dr. Hassler JR is the absolute best. He is so good, my 14 year old reminds me to take him to get his teeth cleaned every six months. The staff is super friendly.
