Excellent appointment with Marym for teeth cleaning. She is incredibly skilled and extremely helpful in making specific suggestions for me to improve my own dental health. I actually look forward to seeing her! Dr Tuman is also a highly skilled and responsive dentist. The practice is superbly organized and always open to feedback and questions.

I have been going to this practice for over 10 years. The staff is outstanding and Dr. Tuman is the consummate professional.When I first went to the practice I needed a tremendous amount of dental work. Going to Dr. Tumans office is like a chance to visit with old friends. Dr. Tuman and Lori (the fabulous hygienist my family usually sees) always remember our family details, and the chance to chat with them (in-between dental procedures!) makes the time go by easily and quickly. A crown on one of my molars had fallen off and I needed it fixed. I was able to get an appointment promptly and it was repaired. What I appreciate about Dr. Tuman is that he does what it needed and explains it clearly. He does NOT promote work that doesnt need to be done. It is amazing to have a dentist I can trust and does excellent work.

If I had met a dentist, in my younger years, with Dr. Tumans skills, creativity, knowledge, and care of patient I would not be requiring all the current procedures I am experiencing. Fortunately I finally did.

The dentist is competent at what he does, and the dental techs know their business. Where this practice falls down is the admin staff. Theyre consistently surly and difficult to work with. I get treated with hostility just walking in the door.

They are taking every precaution with Covid. All steps are noted prior to arrival and upon arrival they are reiterated on the door to ensure our safety as well as theirs. I went in for an emergency visit this past summer. My care was thorough and comprehensive. So much so that I switched to this practice to get routine care. My teenager is also a new patient. She came out of the office with a better demeanor than when weve gone to her previous dentist.

The office is practicing safety measures as they relate to Covid 19. There wasnt a long wait (call when you arrive and remain in your car until they call you to come into the office). I received a thorough cleaning and check up. I guess my biggest concern is the lack of privacy people have when paying. I didnt need to know that a patience card was declined. I guess thats something they could work on however everyone there is pleasant.

Dr. Michael Tuman is a gem and is responsive to emergencies and attentive to routine care. He likes things to look just right and and does not settle for mediocrity. Hes an excellent and skilled dentist.

A filling was missing from a front tooth. He did an excellent job on fixing my tooth. He told me what he was going to do. It was a pleasurable experience. Dr. Tuman asks you how you are doing and listens as though you are the most important person in the world. His assistant was cheery and they have a wonderful releationship. My visit was very nice everyone treated me with respectalways cleaning up immediately after everything was done the technician that was helping the doctor with my mouth she was wonderful it was very helpful when the doctor was treating me he was also explaining what he was doing and it made it a lot nicer just I would refer a friend and family to the dentist office for their care.

As usual, the staff and both doctors are all very friendly. There were plenty of safety precautions before COVID, and now there are additional precautions to keep staff and patients safe, including asking questions, temperature check, safety glasses for patients, EVERYONE wearing masks when not in the dentists chair, and extra cleaning. (For example, a lead apron was placed on me for protection during x-rays, and when the apron was removed the dental hygienist wiped down both sides of the entire apron.)Ive been really struggling w/routines, and instead of scolding I received understanding and an explanation of what worried them, to help motivate me for better self-care. Lori and both of the doctors were very caring!One suggestion: A sign on the door asks patients not to come in, and to call on the telephone when we arrive. Nothing had been said about this when I scheduled the appointment. Please dont assume that all patients carry a cellphone. I tried to get someones attention waving from the window, and finally gave up and walked in. I suggest letting patients know the new routine when scheduling appointments, and asking whether its possible for patients to make a phone call. If not, set up a different plan. (This was only one small glitch figuring out a new system. It doesnt change my 5-star rating.)

I want everyone to know I’m scared of Needles & Pain . So I stopped going to the dentist scared of the needles and pain.Dr. Tuman along with the laughing Gas Did the best dentist work ever. So I started out getting a tooth repaired now I’m getting all my work done. I will recommend him to anyone as truly a master of his craft..

This is a new dental office for me. I retired 3 years ago and have no dental insurance. I paid to be part of their yearly plan _ a flat fee that covers checkup, xrays, 2 cleanings per year, and 25% off the standard fee for other dental work. I’ve already saved $ doing that. I’ve had my teeth cleaned ( Lori was an excellent hygienist) and Dr Tuman was thorough, gave me a treatment plan, and I am thrilled that I chose this practice. It is clean, I feel safe there, their a COVID precautions are vigilant, and I would definitely recommend This practice to anyone!

Drs. Tuman and all of their hygienist and office staff have always been very kind, gentle (particularly with children) and take their time to explain things. You get praised for good home care and gently reminded of how important oral hygiene is when your home care is sub-awesome. I have been a patient since I was a teen, now my own children see Dr. Ryan (Dr. Tumans son at the same practice); my entire family have been patients for well over 20 years. For those with any fear or anxiety of dentists (my first was AWFUL but was with another dentist) all of the staff are very understanding and do their best to abate those anxieties (the Laughing Gas is essential for me). Thank you Drs. Tuman for helping my children have an awesome experience with their dental care, it makes home care that much easier!

Kelly is the best. She has me looking forward to my 6-month cleaning appointments every year. Who would have thought someone could look forward to visiting his or her dental office? I was way overdue for a cleaning/ check up but I was able to make an appointment with ease. When I arrived I did not notice the sign instructing patients to call before entering ( it was raining and I was distracted) but the receptionist did not overreact; she just calmly explained the protocols in place, took my temperature, and had me follow her to the other waiting room. Then the Hygienist was professional and did a good cleaning.Dr. Tuman did his check up and I was done. Pre and Post Corona Pandemic Dr. Tuman and all his staff are always professional and personable. I would like to try this practice but I tried twice to get an appointment as a new patient and have not been able to get one. The first time they canceled on me because the doctor went to a conference; the next time they canceled on me be because I did not have my dental insurance information handy. Will the third time be a charm? I’m not even sure I want to try.

I have experienced some good and bad experiences with this office, My last visit was a nightmare. I do believe that the office has taken on too many clients and cannot adequately meet the needs of their clients. The care for your teeth is good but your time and value as a person is terrible.

The Doctor and all of his staff are extremely proficient, efficient and thorough in every process that they performThanks to a thorough exam by my hygienist, Lori, a cancerous lesion was identified on my tongue . The lesion was surgically removed before it could spread. There should be no doubt about the importance of regular checkups and a trained dedicated staff .

Excellent care at every level

Was in heavy molar pain and went there, based on good reviews. There was a big cavity so they gave me two options: extraction or root canal. I chose root canal because I wanted to keep my tooth. They told me root canal was covered by my insurance. After performed they were set on selling me a crown which I told them I couldnt afford at the time. Asked them if they could fill up the hole temporarily to give me time to save up and think about it. They agreed to do so but, since they needed to charge me for crown build-up ($130 and not covered by my insurance) they BUTCHERED my molars good parts, turning it into a pre-molar looking plateau. I speak in plural because Tuman works with a horrible and perverse woman and Im not sure who actually mutilated me. When the job was done, she told me to schedule an appointment for a crown as if the previous conversation didnt happen. The receptionist then charged me the 130 in a extremely rude manner. Hate this place, money-making robots with no human sense at all.

Great experience! The office was in a nice location, it was clean and updated. The staff was professional and kind. Dr. Tuman (Sr) made me feel very comfortable, he was thorough and I didnt feel rushed at all. I will definitely be back :)

I was setting up an appointment with the receptionist. Everything was great until she asked for my insurance information . I didnt have an id number for my insurance . She said that the id number must be my social security number . And I told her that I cant release that information over the phone . She told me she couldnt book me that appointment until I gave her my social security. I told her that I would give my information in person vs over the phone. She said she still couldnt book my appointment over the phone . She couldve found other ways to set me up an appointment other than retrieving my social security number. Its just risky giving my social security information over the phone especially with the frequency of hacking and stealing of social security number. I hope that they can set up an appointment in the future without asking for social security numbers over the phone .

I have been a patient for quite a long time now. While my first experience wasnt the best(the hygienist was very rough ), I made a comment to the manager and it was immediately corrected. Have never had any pain or complaints since then! Dr. Tuman always explains the procedures if it is not routine and I am never hit with obtrusive fees. My suggestion to all patients is to know how your coverage works before you make an appointment. Often people dont understand the difference between co-pay and co-insurance payment(usually a percentage outside of preventive care). I will be going back shortly!

Just got home a little while ago from an emergency visit with Dr. Tuman. I lost an eye tooth/cap and was already told by other dentists that there was nothing they could put in to temporarily improve my smile (unless I wanted to pay over $500!).Before I even came in, Dr. Tumans receptionist assured me that I would go home with a temporary that would look great while I wait for the permanent replacement. She also looked up the cost of the work I would likely get done so I could make a decision.The friendly care and thorough exam and work while I was in the chair was amazing. As a new patient who went in for an emergency appointment in an incredible amount of pain...I left so overwhelmed with grattitude. Dr. Tuman and his staff were truly compassionate from the moment I called in tears over the phone (from pain and frustration as Id been turned away from half a dozen local dentists offices for not having an appointment on a Friday.) The receptionist put me on hold for less than 30 seconds before telling me to get there as soon as I could. When I got there, they made sure I was as cofortable as I could be under the circumstances and within the hour I left with the prescriptions and clear directions for treatment. The truly shocking part was that Dr. Tuman even had one of the receptionists call me the next day to make sure everything was healing properly. THEY CALLED ME!? Seriously the best experience Ive had in any medical environment in the last decade.
