This would have been my ideal and regular dentist but both time I went, Ive had negative experience. Dr. Costello is very condescending and immature if he is asked questions. He left me in the chair abruptly because I was asking too many questions and didnt even tell me he was done. I waited there for 10 min+ and he was just ignoring the situation. Such childish behavior.There are other folks i know in the area says they make you do procedures when its not absolutely necessary. Ive decided to take my business elsewhere. If you cant respect your patients and treat them with value, then you should not be in this field.Dentist here has too much ego. Ill comeback here when he no longer works here.. but I guess they own the practice?

I don’t even know where to begin. Everyone here was so lovely. From the front office staff to the Hygienist to Dr. Costello and Dr. Ngo. I’ve never had a tooth extracted before and was so absolutely scared to death about getting 2 wisdom teeth pulled but everyone here made it feel a lot less scary. Everyone made sure I was comfortable and explained to me that my comfort was the most important part of everything. I’m still recovering now but wanted to make sure I stopped by here to thank everyone again. I could go on and on about how great u all are but I’m gonna get back to resting. Thank u all again! :)

A great all around experience. Both Drs. Costello and Ngo were both very welcoming and professional, making the experience that much better. Would recommend anyone living in the Philadelphia area in need of great dental office, to set up an appointment ASAP.

These are best dentists I have ever been to. Super friendly staff as well and the most painless cavities I’ve ever had filled. They make you feel like you’re part of the family there. If I could give six stars, I would.

Being my first time at Dentists on Washington and my first time back to any dentist since before the pandemic, I didnt know what to expect. I paid out of pocket, but they provided great specials. I was able to have two of my fillings replaced and they feel ten times better than my original ones! All in all, I am very happy with my experience!

True opinion must read! Very regretful for both time I went in. Very not recommended because when they done wrong things to your teeth, it is really hard to correct.This dental place hires only young and inexperience doctors to work on your teeth because they want to make so much money. Before a Korean woman doctor who worked on my crown chose wrong teeth color and she didn even know how to take temporary teeth out. She broke my own teeth and filled it back and she said that happens sometimes. Today I went in I met a Chinese woman doctor and her name is Wennie. This young doctor seems like she eagerly to earn money for her boss. I went in for cleaning. She was cleaning my teeth and sometimes she looked away from my mouth but her hands still in my mouth and worked on my teeth. She touched my gums at different places a few times and it was hurt. One more thing, before I went in my front teeth have no holes but after cleaning there were holes and the Chinese doctor said there were holes on my front teeth because she created them. I feel these doctors and this place didn have good intentions they only created problems to earn more money for their boss.This dental place is not very recommended. I told the boss that last time I got crown done but the color didn match and she ignored it. Very unresponsive for their own actions.If you don want to get your teeth ruin by these kind of unethical doctors that work to only make money and don care about patients, don go to this place. Also admin stuffs were not friendly for both time i was there.

Have you ever seen a place rated 5 stars for every review? No.I love this office, EVERYONE is friendly and professional. From the time you come and leave. Don’t have to worry about the awkwardness that comes with visiting the dentist. Gwen (spellcheck) is amazing, she is helpful, consistent and works with you! She is able to answer all your questions.

The best dentist experience Ive had in 5+ years. I moved to Point Breeze last month and decided to find a new dentist closer to me (plus Ive only been in Philly for a year). The entire team here is amazing. The ladies behind the desk were very professional and sweet, setting up and appointment was easy, and they made filing insurance a breeze as well. I came here for a 6 month check up and cleaning, and ended up needing two of my fillings replaced. Dr. Costello did a great job making me feel comfortable with everything going on and was happy to answer questions/have a conversation with me. He also did a great job on my fillings, Im normally very sensitive to getting numbing shots but I barely felt it when he did it. It was all very quick, and they even set up an Ipad so I could watch Netflix while waiting/having my teeth worked on. I would highly recommend coming here!A brief mention of money, solely because I know it can be a big concern of new patients. I thought this place might be a little more expensive than my dentist in Arkansas, due to location and their office/facility is top of the line. Plus, another experience I had in Philly I had to pay $1,600+ for three fillings... so I was wary. However, Dentists on Washington are reasonably priced and I would recommend them from a financial stand point as well. I do not think Dr. Costello would ever recommend something that doesnt need to be done, or try to push services on someone.

Dr. Ngo, Dr. Costello and their team are great and they really care about their patients. They had went above and beyond for me during my teeth extraction visit. Seeing that during my procedure, there may be a risk of an unsupported tooth, they provided a complementary bone graph to help. I feel really taken care of and will continue to go back for future visits.

These are terrific, experienced, compassionate and effective professionals. He offered to see me after hours and was full, clear and complete. It seemed like an emergency to me and he checked out all aspects of the issue thoroughly. Their patient rooms and equipment are beautiful, modern and extremely clean. You couldn’t do better as a new patient or continuing one. Friendly, calm, professional and thorough.

Fantastic dentists! These docs are friendly, professional, and keep a beautiful facility. I go here for cleanings and recently got my wisdom teeth out. Dr. Costello took great care of me and left me with info on taking care of myself post surgery. I travel all the way from Fishtown to see Dentists on Washington - theyre just that great!

Dr. Costello and Dr. Ngo are compassionate, honest dentists, with a beautiful, well run office. The staff - from the front desk, to hygienists, to the dentists themselves - are all incredibly warm and welcoming. The services they provide in every visit are comprehensive and thorough, but done with great care and an awareness of how anxiety inducing the dentist can be for patients of all ages. I have been a patient of theirs since they first opened and unlike previous dental practices I’ve been to, at no point have a I felt that I was being “sold” services just to increase the final bill. I highly recommend Dentists on Washington to anyone new to the area or looking for a new dentist. I’m sure you would find them as caring, honest, knowledgeable and courteous as my family and I have.

I have had a stellar experience with the dentists and staff at Dentists On Washington. Ive gone to decent and good dentists, but these guys are great. Theyre incredibly friendly, they listen, and they explain procedures. Its weird to be at a dentist office and hear so much laughter, but its wonderful. Highly recommend them.

Great dentists in a convenient, new, modern office on Washington Ave near 6th Street. The practice is run by a pair of dentists who also happen to be husband and wife. They are both great to interact with. Highly recommended!

These are the most elite level dentists I have ever known. They are down to earth, have awesome prices and kind energy. I drive an hour or more at times because they really care, and it shows. We need more medical proffesionals like Dr. Ngo and Dr. Costello. Great people.

So in all honesty most of us dont love going to the dentist. However, this office is very warm and friendly. Heres how this office (husband and wife team) excel in customer service:-They have iPads on dental chairs so you can watch something while dental work is being performed.-they offer you water bottles and have free Chapstick in the waiting room as your lips are often chapped after dental procedures.-they remember you and ask how things are going in your life specifically. I can honestly say that every staff member at this office knows my wife and I by name and face.-staff: they answer the phone! No robots. They answer questions. They follow up with insurance. They help you strategize how to make the most cost effective decisions. They offer a CARE plan if you need to finance dental work. They are helpful. Particularly, Karina who works at the front desk, is particularly knowledgeable about insurance.-they maintain a clean shop. Seriously, we have looked for dust and during our many visits and we still havent found any.-theres parking-they have Saturday hours and go above and beyond to fit into their customers schedulesWe love our dentists and everyone at this office. We will not go any place else.

I dont have a regular dentist or insurance. I feel very lucky to have found this office. Dentists on Washington gave me a flat price that was close to all the other offices I called starting prices.Dr. Costello and Dr. Ngo both worked on my tooth extraction and they both have magical hands. I did not feel an ounce of pain.I had a tooth extracted before at another dentist out pf the area a few years back and it was not a pleasent experience!So what a great find for me so close to home finding Dr.Costello and Dr Ngo.Also this office has a staff thats wonderful the front desk staff (Tiffany)was so helpful and supportive and the dental.assistant (Nancy)is a breath of fresh air and was so nice and supportive as well.Im a neighborhood guy who has roots here( I know a lot of people here in this area) an will definitely be recommending this office in my circle of family and friends.If you dont have a regular dentist and are searching for one for keeps this is the place to go. You will def be in good hands and have a postive outcome at this dentist.

Incredible! I visited Drs. Ngo and Costello on a Saturday afternoon with a dental emergency - a problem that my other dentist had repeatedly misdiagnosed and been unable to resolve. Drs. Ngo and Costello immediately saw what the actual problem with my tooth was, and stayed at their office well past closing to help me. They are both clearly very skilled at what they do but also genuinely care about their patients (and I had *just* become their patient). Their office is lovely, clean, and new - and it is the only eco-friendly dental office in Philadelphia.I recommend their services to everyone I know. You cant go wrong with them.
