Ive been coming to Rittenhouse Dental Group for a number of years now and cant say enough good things. Erin and Amy at the front desk are super organized, flexible, and kind. The hygienist, Lena, has been working with me for a few months now on a gum issue and Im seeing great results... she is highly skilled. And Ive found Dr. Huang to be an honest person who has my best interest at heart, and extremely competent in her work. Also a very nice person!Bottom line: Great people doing great work!

Dr. Huang is the best dentist I have ever had. She is so patient and make sure to answer all questions you have about a procedure in detail. I had been her patient for a year and unfortunately had to leave due to relocation. But I would recommend her to everyone who is looking for a professional and friendly dentist in the Philly downtown area.

Dr. Huang and her staff do a great job. Easy to schedule, pleasant office. When she finds a problem, she will take the time to explain the situation clearly and help talk you through all of the options. Ive had some dentists who just left the money part in the patients lap and didnt want to deal with it or talk about it, but not Dr. Huang. Shes compassionate about the struggles with insurance policies and understands the financial burden as well as the health needs. She truly cares about your situation. She is also thorough and precise with procedures. I have received multiple crowns from her that were done perfectly, removing pain I had suffered under for a long time.

Very Disappointed with this place., it is total disaster place, don go. Old doctor old equipment old technology. The doctor is old and don know the difference between fillings. She told me that i sleep biting my teeth a lot but it was actually a filing on my teeth. I don know if she can see well or not. First she told me that I need another 1 face filling on my other teeth and then after discussing about crown unsuccesfully, she told me that i have 3 face filling on the same tooth. Geez its not much of money but this place is cheating on customers. This place is not good for your mouth so don go if you don want to get disappointed like me. Lying about to charge more money and you cant ask questions. They sent me another bill a month after receiving cleaning and filling service from them. I cant ask questions. After telling me cost of have crowns for my front teeth and i said i will think about it, the doctor knew that i would not take their service cos (over price after insurance) said i asked too many questions.

I started going to Rittenhouse Dental Group as a new patient in 2020, the staff and reception are very friendly and accommodating when looking to book or change appointments. The office was very clean and took all Covid protocols necessary to make their patients feel safe. My initial appointment was for a scheduled teeth cleaning but ended up needing to return to get a crown put in. Dr. Jian Huang did my teeth cleaning and crown procedure and was very informative throughout the whole process and answered any and all questions I had. It was apparent she showed an interest in fixing my oral health and presented all options available for me to make informed decisions on how to move forward. The office also gave me detailed information on what my insurance would cover and what would be an out of pocket expense for me. I would strongly recommend anyone to make an appointment with Dr. Jian Huang and the Rittenhouse Dental Group for their dental needs.

I highly recommend this dentist! The staff is extremely friendly and the Dentist and dental assistants make you feel comfortable. Making appointments is also very convenient. They send you text reminders so you never forget your appointment and they are very flexible with their schedule.

COMPLETE FRAUD.This dentist filled 8 cavities that did NOT exist.The Hygienist said my teeth looked great and looked at my full x-rays. Then the Dentist came in and said there were a lot of issues.Today I went to a different dentist, they obtained all my dental records including x-rays from the last 8 years, 3 dentists (cause I asked for numerous opinions) said that there is no tooth decay indicated on the x-rays and after the examination could not believe this dentist filled 8 cavities.I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Unbelievable.

I definitely recommend Dr. Huang and her staff. After finding myself in need of some dental work, I did some research and found this practice based on the great reviews and the fact that they were in-network with my insurance. Dr. Huang and her staff were very kind, patient, and attentive. Unsure of what my insurance covered/didnt covered and to what extend, her staff took the time to explain the billing process and the risks/benefits of proceeding with the work before receiving prior authorization from the insurance. Dr. Huang was very thorough in her work and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. When I ran into an issue with my insurance not covering a service, the staff submitted multiple appeals to reverse the decision. I ended up having the work covered and was reimbursed for what I paid upfront in a timely manner. This was by far the best dental experience Ive ever had.

I’ve always had high anxiety going to the dentist. I also have a mouth full of fillings that are now having to be replaced with crowns. I’ve only had two dentists my whole life. Im a few years from the senior discounts. Due to insurance changes I had to go to a new dentist. I can’t say enough good about Dr. Pesis and his staff. Their personalities and mannerisms helped me relax and feel safe. The Netflix goggles took care of the rest. I actually got two crowns and a cavity filled in one month. Im amazed. That would normally take a whole year to get done due to me being so afraid. As far as I’m concerned they’re the best! A + across the board. Thank you!

To say Dr. Gamba has the gentlest hands of any dentist who has touched my mouth is an understatement! He is the best dentist I have ever been to. I am from California so it wasnt easy for me when I wanted to find a good dentist at Philadelphia. I searched online and found Dr. Jian Huang at Rittenhouse Dental Group. I read some good reviews about her so I decided to give it a try. I was there for a regular cleaning and a teeth whitening. Dr. Huang was patient and friendly during the whole process. Her staff was also patiently explaining every procedure about teeth whitening. One hour later, I couldnt believe my yellow teeth for the past 60 years turned shinny white! Although insurance didnt cover teeth whitening, but it is so worthy of it!! Now I can smile like a movie star! I am so happy about the service and I highly recommend Dr. Huang!

The office administrators, clinicians and certainly Dr. Modesto were very professional and accommodating.I initially phoned Rittenhouse Dental Group with a semi dental emergency. They took me in right away and within 30 minutes I was finished and on my way back to work. Dr. Modesto recommended a proactive dental plan that was both practical and affordable. Ive subsequently been back for cleanings, whitenings and cosmetic adjustments. He goes through each tooth with you in detail and explains action plan (including procedure required if any). Even though extremely busy, he pays close attention to detail. I came in for a cleaning, and then had to get cavities filled. This could have been a horrible experience, but Dr. Modesto and her staff were wonderful. The fillings were painless. I highly recommend this practice!

I began seeing Dr. Hwang four years ago, having no history of dental problems. I visited only for cleanings, and was satisfied with the service I received.However, at my latest cleaning two weeks ago, it turned out I had cracked two bottom molars. One was not cracked seriously, but the other was. I am traveling, and will be away abroad, starting May 1.Under the circumstances, Dr. Hwang outlined my options: 1. eat on the other side of my mouth until I was back in Philadelphia again; or, 2. put in a crown on the most badly cracked tooth. Dr. Hwang did not in any way press me to choose having the crown put in immediately, which would have been the most immediately lucrative choice for her. In light of my heavy upcoming travel schedule, I chose to have a crown put in. Yet there was limited time to measure for it, as well as to have the manufacturer produce one timely. Dr. Hwang could not put the temporary crown in the day I came in for the cleaning, but gave me an appointment as soon as possible to measure for the permanent crown.When I was at the office for that purpose, Dr. Hwang put the temporary crown on quickly, then ordered the permanent crown. The time was not the normal turnaround time, but she let the manufacturers representative know time was of the essence. She also called the manufacturer twice to be sure that the crown would be ready in time to be fitted properly.As her schedule at the time my temporary crown was put in only allowed for me to come in the day before I depart, there was not a lot of time for me to go to her office to have any adjustments that needed to be made done before my departure. However, her office had a cancellation two days before my departure, so called me to see if I could take it so I would have a day and a half to test out the new crown and make any adjustment as soon as possible. I took the appointment, which was today.Dr. Hwang took great pains to fit the crown, so that I would be comfortable with it, taking all the time necessary. I was there for almost 90 minutes, but Dr. Hwang was (correctly) more concerned with my feeling no discomfort from the crown than getting me out of the office. And if I need to have an adjustment done, she will make time for me before I depart in two days.Dr. Hwang was very concerned that I feel completely comfortable with the crown, which is a new experience for me. In light of her assiduousness in all respects and her genuine attention to my comfort level with the new crown, I would say Dr. Hwang is an excellent dentist, backed up by a highly competent staff.

I highly reccomend these folks. Moved back to Philly a year ago and needed a 4 unit bridge implant. Took my 3d X-rays of my teeth to 5 dental offices. (Im retired so do have the time to see a number of dentists and try to find a quality solution within a reasonable budget.) Found it with Rittenhouse Dental group.Also had a cleaning and a filling done by the new Dr. Mehta and was very pleased with his demeanor and his work. Very thorough and detailed in his examinations and explanations and keeps me appraised of what he is dong as we go through the work.In addition to excellent care, they have a nice facility and I applaud them on there scheduling ability in that I never waited more than 5 minutes in the 8 visits i have had over the past year plus. (Implants take a lot of work and time to complete)

Dr. Gamba is a great dentist... office is nice and clean, and Gamba is with you from start to finish. The staff is helpful, my appointment usually takes about 20 minutes from the moment I walk in until I walk back out, and I highly recommend to anyone!

For all the years that I have been going to the dentist in and out in less than 20 minutes and worst of all the dentist was late getting there. I guess they figured a quick cleaning and onto the next patient to makeup some time.

Only concerned about money, not concerned about proper treatment of patients.
