Ive never met anyone that likes going to the dentist. I am at the top of the list but the team at American Dental make it so Ill actually go because of how good they are. Always engaging, fun, and respectful...I wish I could find a primary doctors office that runs the way they do.

Ive been going to this dental office for about three years now and I love it! They have flexible hours (saturdays early and weekdays evenings). They are on point with reminding you of your appointments and they really care about your dental health, they even have a care plan set up for you to help you keep your teeth and gums healthy. I highly recommend.

I came in with nerve pain, and exited with my problem tooth removed! Dr. Patel and staff were very friendly and professional, provided care and concern during my tooth extraction, and thoroughly discussed all aftercare. I had very minor swelling and pain afterwards (and my tooth was not an easy one to remove).The facility was spotless and has state-of-the-art imaging to accurately identify trouble areas.I cannot wait to use their services for Invisalign and whitening along with the successful installation of my implant.

I really couldnt say enough about Dr. Patel and the whole staff. And going by other reviews I read out of curiosity. its UNANIMOUS ! The office is conveniently located, the front staff are very thorough and professional. Every experience has been a good one and I actually look forward to my appointments because my care team. Sade, Margie, Magda and everybody there make it a very pleasant experience. I know I am in the best hands. I have had some complex Dental work needed and I really appreciate the State of the Art equipment and tools utilized along with the sheer expertise and knowledge demonstrated by everybody. Everybody is so nice. it feels great! Special mentions, also, on the warm Lavender wash cloths given after your procedure to cleanse, the amazing Air Filters throughout the office to keep us extra safe in these times!!! They invested a lot of money to ensure their patients safety and it is awesome and appreciated. Did I mention I loved this place? Best Dental office in Philly!

Been afraid of the dentist all my life until I started coming here. The dentist talks to you like you are friends and not just a patient. Which is awesome for someone like me who has severe anxiety with dental procedures. Love this place!

I went in for a cleaning, but they only cleaned the teeth on the right side of my mouth. I was told the insurance wouldn’t cover the full cleaning in one visit. I was offered a visit 4-5 weeks later for the second half of the cleaning. The best part of it all was the half cleaning was $68. To be followed by a bill for an additional $28 and finally a 3rd bill of $135 to check up on the cleaning.

Dr.Monica and her staff are very kind and extremely patient especially when answering my questions. Even though Dr. Monica and staff ( from checking in to exiting and setting up a future appointment) had to tell me more then a few times what the next steps will be they remained professional. Honestly, if you feel a little uneasy or embarrassed because of your situation or the distance between your last dentist appointment; the comfortableness that settles as soon as your greeted makes you wonder why did I take this long to see a dentist. Great job to everyone involved at the office - even the music selector...I was in and out . Ps. Next time I wont need to take an extra hour off work for the appoinment( bummer ;) Too effecient and on schedule with every employee living up to their role. Great people who care!Kev L

I had a horrible experience. i am disable and my husband was pushing my wheelchair. To our surprise there are no ramps. Then when we finally got in and called back we see more steps...i just canceled. i wont be going back.

I am scared to death to go to the dentist It is such a terrible fear so needless to say I dont go often. I went to Dr at 3428 Rhawn St. Dr Patel she was just wonderful made me feel so calm the staff is so kind and understanding they fit me in at the last minute ..The office is very very clean and safe. I just hope I cant over come my fear because I have to go a few time...I give them 10 stars. Thank You Dr Patel.

I’m normally terrified of dentists, here I felt more relaxed and at ease. Following the dental care instructions from the RDH Melissa I have seen better results. No more sensitivity to hot/cold foods or drinks, and my teeth are now as white as the tooth emoji. Also the young lady at the front desk Nicole is extremely helpful and informative.

This was my first time getting services on my teeth here and since I had a horrible experience with a different practice years back, I was terrified to have anything done. Terrified! But I have to say, it was a great experience! Dr.Patel, Dr. Pizzaro, Margie..and the little billing girl (didnt get her name) were all wonderful! They all made me feel comfortable. Dr. Patel was very patient with me and Margie made sure to explain every little detail of what was to happen. Im glad I picked this practice to go to. I would recommend this practice to everyone.

I went to American Dental Associates to get my regular teeth cleaning. Melissa the hygienist was so nice and friendly! She made me feel so safe and made the whole experience enjoyable, and I usually hate the dentist. Dr.Patel was very professional and personable. Got a tooth extraction done by Dr Priyanka Patel was terrified that I would feel the pain the entire time. She did the procedure and I didn’t feel a thing and I’m happy about that. She was quick efficient and made sure I wasn’t in pain the entire time. I recommend coming here for any dental procedures.

I called for an emergency appointment last week after I woke up with a swollen face from a broken tooth, and they told me to come in within 15 minutes! The staff and Dentist were WONDERFUL! The office is clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. I have severe anxiety when it comes to dental work and they made me feel comfortable. The following day I still had issues with swelling and the dentist called me from her cell phone to discuss and then called me back hours later to remind me to take my new antibiotics and see how I was feeling. I highly recommend this office! The only negative is they don’t accept my insurance, so I can’t continue to be a patient there :(

My experience at American dental was excellent not only they make sure u get seen on the time of your appointment they are very friendly and make sure u feel comfortable at all time . If you are looking for dental office in Philadelphia then I highly consider coming here. They are very professional, make you feel very comfortable and do a great job. The massage chair in the lobby is a huge plus! 😜 They are very flexible and will work with you financially. Nothing is impossible financially here. Doesn’t matter if you’re making minimum wage or well off; they work with you like you’re family.

American Dental has treated my husband, two sons, and myself very well over the six years we’ve been going here. About a week ago, I had extreme pain in one tooth and could not sleep. I called American Dental and they squeezed me in for emergency visit the next day. In the meantime, they prescribed me for pain and antibiotics. What really WOW’d me was that Dr. Priyanka Patel followed up with me to see where my comfort level was. Her concern for me was GENUINE! The day of surgery went flawlessly and Dr. Patel along with Margie Ely took really good care of me.

If your teeth have stains, the hygienists wont scold or lecture you about your brushing and flossing. Dr. Patel patiently answers your questions and explains everything in detail. I am a first time patient and my experience was more than excellent! I am actually one of those random people who likes the dentist. I was in to get routine maintenance and looking to change dentists. So I found this one close to my house. The google ratings were pretty decent so I made an appointment. The staff was very accommodating and offered me to come in an hour before my scheduled appointment. definitely a win, win. I am very satisfied with the X-rays and cleaning I received. My problems were addressed and I was set up with the needed information to correct the issues. I appreciate the knowledge and the warm personalities I encountered during my visit! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, personable dentist office! Also they have a great referral opportunity AND a massage chair...so jump on it!

So i dont rite reviews often. And i can see this place has great reviews. But unfortunately my first encounter with this place was not plesent at all. Cracked my tooth 2 months back. Wasnt able to go anywhere because of the coronavirus(everyone was saying emergencys only). Lost my job and didnt have the money for it until now and the tooth has gotten worse and effecting my day to day life. They check me out. All good. Explained everything..All good..Then when it came time to pay. The lady took my card. And came back 10 min later saying my card got declined. So i call my bank(all while i had somones head peaking in behind my back, in the room, Listening in on the conversation with me and my bank) and they said she swiped my card 5 times. First one went threw then the next 4 declined(low balance). WHY CHARGE MY CARD 5 TIMES WITHOUT TELLING ME IT GOT DECLINED!!!. That only shows there was some type of mistake that happend.. You dont try to charge somones card 5 times!!!.. Threw out all types of red flags, locked out my back account, and the merchant put a hold on the funds for Suspicious activity. Now my 939$ is stuck in limbo(on hold) while i sit here with no choice, but to suffer with my tooth. Cant go elsewhere. Because now im broke until the 7th business day. And they couldnt even do any of the things i needed. I honestly felt like they thought i was trying to get away with not paying them. Then they told me they cant do anything for me. When they themselves, caused this problem. The moneys out my account already and gave you guys the transaction #. And yet, you cant even do half of what i needed done. Especially the bad tooth. Most unconformable iv ever felt in an establishment in my whole life. And its a dentist at that. That didnt make my fear against dentists any better. If youre a new customer be weary, because i told these ppl how much this was affecting me and was taking a tool on my life and i still left untreated,disrespected, like i did somthing wronge all while felling Like a victim, anxiety was threw the roof, phone died while on the phone with my bank figuring everything out because the dentist office ppl keep saying everything was declined and diddnt get to the point of opening my account back up. Got there by uber, so i had to walk home and had a minor anxiety episode. Now im scared to go anywhere for this tooth. A truly sickining experience for me.
