Was going to stop in tonight and check this place out and see about scheduling an appointment. When I pulled in, the receptionist was sitting at the front desk with no mask on. There is a sign on the door that says “Masks required!” I watched someone go in and the receptionist, who just stood up, had to quickly grab her mask.The point in wearing masks is so you do not spread COVID if you have it. She was breathing all over the desk, keyboard, and anything else within 6 ft of her. I took a picture for the irony.Wouldn’t recommend this place and will probably call corporate tomorrow.

Went there last nite. Staff was friendly n professional. From bn greeted at door, eye exam, explaining an answering my questions, thanks to the Dr who took his time with me, an thanks to the gurl, who walked me thru picking out glasses, didnt even rush me.thanks Britt ..lil cutie.

Bad experience, bad attitude by manager Michelle at Cottman ave. In Philadelphia, two month wait then they gave away appointment becouse the 2 pm email was not answed for 4 pm appointment, no other emails in the two month waiting period, Also phone call says call back if not coming, manager didnt even know what the automated call says

Bad, very bad attitudes. I made two appointments but when I went in, they tell me only one appointment made. the other have no sign of making appointment. my daughters took few classes off to go to the appointment.the attitudes were also very bad.

I will never go to another place. Staff is always friendly and willing to answer any question. They breakdown price, with or without insurance. They helped me on 3 occasions.. They didnt charge me for a simple readjustment either. They are super friendly and strike up small talk with clients. I love that! It breaks the ice for a lot of people!

Staff was super friendly and helpful. I went to a few other places before vision works and nobody seemed to be able to help me. I wanted to get prescription lenses put in my ray bans. I wanted to get them in purple.The staff here was thrilled at the idea and did a bang up job. I would absolutely recommend them and I would absolutely do business here again in the future.

My first experience with Visionworks was when I was walking into the store. The glass was so clean that I walked into the door. A few hours later after receiving my glasses I walked into the door again. Had to have my glasses readjusted

Amazing staff and services!! Brittanie was so accommodating and helpful to my husband and me. She serviced both of our glasses and didnt charge us anything, although he hadnt bought his glasses from them. We will both definitely be using them for our next glasses!

Bad experience with customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. Staff at this location are not very helpful or friendly. Spend your money at a location that wants it and is willing to help you.

The employees up front were nice and professional, the doctor not so. Mr. Pius Jung was curt in addressing my questions. I was advised that there were significant changes to my vision and that I have cataracts in both eyes. Obviously, I was quite concerned and Mr. Jung seemed put off and at times, defensive when addressing my concerns. The exam itself did not take that long, yet he was anxious to get me out. He did not act in a professional manner.It was not a good experience and I HOPE THAT MY NEW GLASSES ARE CORRECT!

This place is completely and totally unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment for today over a month ago. I received a phone call this morning stating that the last appointment is at 6 pm even though my appointment was scheduled for 6:30 pm and that I would have to come in at 5:45 so that I could be seen. I rearranged my schedule so that I could come in and arrived there at 5:30 pm. I waited over half an hour in line to be checked in and had to wait another half an hour to begin my exam. When Helen went to start my exam the doctor told her that she was done and refused to even see me. So not only did I have to wait around for an hour but I was then refused service! I will never return to this place and I would not recommend it to anyone! Their customer service sucks and they make appointments for nothing. If they were running behind thats their issue not mine I was there early for my scheduled appointment. And further more if they are open until 8 pm why is the last appointment at 6 pm. This is how they treated not just a patient but a 6 month pregnant patient at that!

Visionworks at the Citibank plaza on Cottman Ave is great! The customer service that I’ve experienced has been exceptional. I received an exam once and then the next I went for a contact sizing. I will say that sometimes they’re booked, which can be frustrating, but the receptionists help as much as possible and don’t mind if you continuously callback and double check to see if an appointment has opened (if they do mind, I don’t hear it in their voices and they are SUPER PATIENT!)! The only “negative” is that their website scheduling has been down for awhile, but that’s a tech problem, not the people at this locations. Great job you guys! Keep it up!

We have an appointment in Visionworks , got a little late I called them I told them Im gonna be late when I get there man bad experience because they said, Ive been late so that they cannot put me in the schedule I had to reschedule or cancel appointment so I just cancel the appointment and go out. What do you think ! that is the way they treat their costumer. so Always Give The Reviews which we experience, when we are out on the market. Become as consumer we have the power, which is BUYING POWER that influence others which we are experience in that market. The place is absolutely awful!!! After having to wait 6 weeks for an appt for my daughter to learn to put her contacts in we get there to find out we have to come back again next week. To completely top it off they let her leave with a torn contact in her eye along with her other contact. I just spent an hour with her crying in pain as we tried to get the 1/2 of contact out. Now I will have to pay to go somewhere else since Im sure my insurance paid for these visits. Horrible!! This process should not take 2 months.

Terrible staff.. Doctor seems like a just graduated kid.. General manager Michelle is so rude.. She talks down to you like she is doing you some favor when you are paying her to do her job.. Each time me and my husband visited them we had a bad experience and had to return his glasses.. She was so rude throughout the whole process.. Never going back there..

Vision works (cottman ave.) is the first place where I got my eye glasses, unfortunately here is my commentemployee - they just point to you the choices (frames) and the price, they dont even help you to find the perfect frame that fits to you.Scheduling - it sucks, you have to go through those numbers, and it doesnt even ring to the store that you want to contact.

The front end was awesome! They greeted me at what seemed like as soon as you got out of your car which was awesome and VERY WELCOMING. Even when there were a lot of ppl calling and in the store they were very nice and helpful. My only issue would be that the doctor wasnt as helpful. He was nice once I finally got to see him, nevertheless he was slow and not attentive to the ppl in the store. The front end constantly apologized for the wait and then helped me entertain my 2 year old. Awesome group of girls.

This place is awesome. They have every pair of eyewear that you can imagine. The staff is very knowledgeable and took the time to fit me with the correct pair of glasses. The parking is easy and the store is very accessible. Attached to the store is their Optometrist Dr. Zawilinski. I highly recommend getting your eye exam from her.

Every time I go there, the special doesnt apply. Why? They say it is because I have insurance. I always pay twice as much as expected, WITH INSURANCE buying the most inexpensive products there! RIP! I find the personnel rude and agitated. I also find that they are not knowledgeable and they give conflicting information from one clerk to another. They actually give false information. My husband also has had bad experiences with them and will never come back. This is the first time I have ever wrote a negative review about anyone or any company.

These people are AWESOME. Every single person Ive worked with there is AWESOME. And Dr. Z. (attached to their store) is also AWESOME. You may be leery to go to a chain-eyeware store. I had a strange vision problem connected to a medical issue, and before I found the source of the problem, Dr. Z. and Visionworks were respectful, helpful, and believed me when I said what I needed. I spent HALF the amount of money for 3 pairs of glasses here, than I spent for one pair with an independent doctor that is highly recognized. And I got them in a few days as opposed to a month and a half. I had a mixup with the color of my sunglasses and they fixed it IMMEDIATELY and cheerfully. Once I found out there was a medical problem causing issues, my eyesight began to improve rapidly, and they also helped me replacing all these glasses again and again, they were awesome. There is a synergy and cheerful cooperation between all the employees here that is truly refreshing. Thank you so much - Jennie.

This is by far the worst Vision Works Ive went to. Save your time and skip this so called eye care center on Cottman. The staffs are rude and do not treat the customers with respect. Especially while you are asking for eye care questions, they become irritated. CHANGE YOUR STAFFS!!!! As for the eye care service by the doctor, its better.

Very irresponsible... went in on July 13th to purchase contacts and it’s been a month so when I called for a following up the women says the have no record of the payment at all and I payed over $70 for a pair of Contacts. That’s the problems with these companies they don’t care about you they just want to trick they’re way into more money.

Horrible service ALL THE TIME. IVe been coming here for years and there is always an inconvience no matter what the case may be. It takes 2 weeks for contacts to come in and trials are NEVER available. The young girl in there always has an attitude with me and talks to me in a rude, assertive way as if she’s annoyed with me. They even say not to call asking when my contacts are in as if it’s annoying... NEVER AGAIN AM I GOING HERE. I recommend you don’t either because they lost my file about 3 times and I had to pay extra money. I recommend eye options, way better service and it’s across the street.

Worst experience, ever! While looking at frames, sales wmn came over & interrupted, actually anmonished me for not choosing Michael Kors &picking Chelsea Morgan (since im covered for any frame) saying who is she, anyway? Get these.... MK dosent have my style. I told her that & she could not grasp the concept of wanting a look, with the right shape for your face, rather than a name. She also had no product knowledge. When I asked one of my questions she pointed @ something for me to read instead of answering me. While I was reading it, she kept saying these are the best lenses, thats the lenses for you etc...but when I noticed all the other add-ons were included if I got those & told her to remove them, she said, you dont need those lenses, theyre not for you. When I questioned it, she got mad,called a mgr, and started lieing to her, acting like I was trying to get stuff for free. I noticed what happened, she gave me bad info from the beginning. I asked what high density lenses are, she showed me a card on high deff. Instead of admitting that she gave me bad info (&that was why I didnt need them). She was changing her story multiple times. She didnt want to bother helping me get the glasses &add-ons that were right for me, she just wanted to place an order &include as much as she could I should have known from jump, when I just wanted direction where to look & she insisted on putting me in the computer. She lost the sale, all due to her own ignorance. I took my Rx & going to South Philly store. I already know what Im getting so, that person is going to get an easy sale:-)

Terrible experience. I scheduled my appointment a month ago only to get there and double booked at the same time. None of my information were saved in the system. Apparently thats my fault and had to wait over a hour to get called in while the person that was booked with me was checked out right after we checked in. Rude staff, doesnt want to communicate with you at all. well never come back to this place.
