I’ve worked with two providers here so far for psychiatric medication for anxiety. The first seemed to be more interested in finishing the visits as quickly as possible while forgetting details about my life (she stated I had children, and I do not, nor do I ever want to have children) and gaslighting me regarding my complaints about side effects to a medication (claimed I was “maybe grinding my teeth in my sleep” to cause jaw tightness I was reporting). I was unhappy with the services and switched to another provider here. The second was nice enough but spent over 5 minutes scrolling his phone in silence to “check the side effect” I previously mentioned and started joking and laughing about the side effects listed. I had to verbally ask him what the purpose of him doing this was and if we could please move on because it was awkward and he was wasting my time. Then at the end of the evaluation with him he cut me off when discussing medication because “we were running out of time”. But he sure had the time to sit on his phone laughing about “ingrown toe nails” being a side effect to a medication I’m not even on anymore? I’m going to continue to attending because I need medication but these providers are not great and could sure use a training in professionalism.

I SPOKE SEVERAL TIMES WITH A RECEPTIONIST SHE MADE AN APPOINTMENT TOOK MY INFORMATION, SENT ME A EMAIL WITH PERTINENT INFORMATION . I TRAVELED TO CENTER CITY ARRIVED AT MY DESTINATION AND THEY TOLD ME TO GO HOME. MY INSURANCE WAS NOT EXCEPTED. I AM SURE THIS COULD HAVE BEEN HANDLED DIFFERENTLY BUT MAYBE i GOT LUCKY, NOT HAVING TO FIND OUT LATER OF THE INCOMPETENCE AND LACK OF EMPATHY

Scott was very professional and caring. He took a very thorough history and discussed issues in depth. I felt very comfortable talking with him and I answered all of my questions.

This company is horrible. They never return your calls. I called 3 months ago . I just got a call today talking about I have a co-pay when I dont my insurance covers it all. I spoke to my insurance company and lifestance has been getting paid the whole time. Scammers
