My experience at Natty Salon was just as pleasant as it was the very first time I went years ago. I have a lot of hair that can be very hard for me to flat iron due to bursitis in my shoulders. Callie did a Beautiful job! My hair was bone straight and I am so pleased with the time and care she took to my hair. The ladies were all very pleasant. And I didn’t have to wait. I went on a Wednesday around 2pm. I definitely recommend Natty for many reasons. And will make more frequent visits to keep my hair nice and healthy .

I went on a Thursday after work. It was a kinda busy. But I stayed and Im always a pleased with my hair. Iv been coming here since. 2011

If I could give one star, I would. I got serviced at this salon twice. I loved my hair the first time. I got a wash and set with rollers and then they blew it out and flat ironed it and trimmed it. The second time I went a week later, I asked for the same service, however the owner went back and forth with about the rollers, saying that I shouldn’t get them and my hair would come out smoother without them. I finally agreed to just get it blown out after washing it and my hair was very much puffy even after the flat iron. It also seem thinner than it was the first time I went, a week prior. She didn’t even flat iron my edges and I had to tell her to go over them. When I decide to wash my hair at home the following week, my curl pattern was completely gone. My hair is extremely dead looking, thin, and I don’t even feel comfortable wearing it out natural anymore due to the amount of damage. If you do try this place out, MAKE SURE that you identify the owner and DO NOT get serviced by her. My hair is ruined.

They are a lot friendlier than other salons. I like that part. Even with the masks on. They sanitize and listen. I love my the way the colored my hair and they did not burn my scalp. I haven’t had a perm in 8 years.

Always on point. THEY DO NOT USE PERM/RELAXERS IN THEIR SHAMPOO. Ive been going to them for about 8 yrs. Unlike the Dominican shop on 52nd & spurce have your head burning 🤨 first picture is natty hair salon. 2nd picture is the other. I ask for a feather cut and not one curl in my hair. The girl in the first chair at natty ( the short one🤭) shes a doll🥰 did my feather cut the way I wanted it. I never been disappointed when I went there. All the ladies that work at nattys salon knows how to do hair.

My family and I love this place. Fast courteous service every visit. No over-dry. No excessive heat. Friendly staff. Reasonable rates for quality service. And Ive never witnessed a chair like in those photos.

This was my first time... Quick service... Shampoo girl did an amazing job. I recieved exactly what I asked for.

I went to the salon at 11 am and got my hair washed after washing I informed them I wanted a deep condition and a hot oil treatment instead of getting serviced I sat there for two hours while they ate lunch and did their friends hair .

Always enjoyable to get my hair cut and styled here. They work well with my hair which has no chemical processing. And they know to comb from ends to root. I always look amazing in the end and my styles last for two weeks.

The atmosphere was pleasant. They are also doing a great job with social distancing. They have done an excellent job with adjusting too the new norm!!

I have never been one to write reviews but this one must be done. While I cannot complain about the blow drying and the straightening, the dye job was absolutely horrible. They do not know how to tone. My hair was GREEN and they tried to tell me that it wasn’t. The green was the first thing that everyone noticed when they saw me after I got my hair dyed here. Please do yourself a favor and do not go to this place if you are trying to go blonde. After spending my money here, I went to another salon to properly tone my hair and they could not believe that someone had let me walk out of their salon looking like that!!

I go there every 2 weeks. My hair has grown tremendously long and healthy. The products they sale help so much with my daily up keep.My stylist Natty is the best. She dont mind that I run my hands through my hair at the end.

Im African-American and I love them 😍😍😍. I literally drive 5 miles just to get their exceptional service. The ladies are professionals and have their certificates on the wall clearly displayed. The property is clean and wait time is minimal. Always friendly faces and prices are reasonably displayed so there are no surprises. Ive been a customer for 2 years and never been disappointed.

Its been 9 years but worth going even if far away ur 💇 will feel like a million fingers massaging ur scalp curlers for sitting under the blow dryer helps cut time down pressing out ur 💇 ridiculous then finally the trim or cut and of course wrapping ur 💇 if u ask is perfect plus the bonus of going to Gigi across the street for food to corner stores and of course transportation

I love the way they straighten my hair but there is no set price if you dont have what they referred to as regular hair texture. I asked how much my visit would be if added a hair cut I was told $30 from the shampoo girl because the stylist didnt speak English . When I went to pay the stylist said $45 because my hair was kinky textured.

Ive been going there almost 15 years. Nati and her team are exceptional. They havent let me down yet! Ive moved out of the area but ANY time Im in Philly I take my step-daughter, my two girls (my baby is 5 and I even trust them doing HER hair!) And if my nieces are around I take them too!!! You cant beat the prices either.Never retire Nati!!! ♥

I would give this place zero stars if possible. Unethical business practices. When I spoke to the manager to address my concerns she was very rude and pretended like she didnt understand what I was saying. If you are natural or value the health of your hair stay far away. I have severe allergies and cannot use many mainstream products let alone a relaxer and they mixed it in Im assuming while washing my hair. I noticed the woman didnt use much product while drying my hair or straightening it which I thought was odd because I always need product to get my hair straight. When it rained a week later I noticed my hair was off and when I finally washed my hair there was a god awful chemical smell that just lingered and my hair has been breaking off and falling out in clumps. I typically do my own hair and this trip to the salon was a gift but now I remember why I stay far away from salons and will definitely be warning those to stay away from Dominican salons

I went there today after being recommended by my sister cause from what she told me and from what I saw every time she got her hair done I thought they be pretty good . Wrong theyre customer service is so horrible I walked in nobody greeted me, nor ask what I wanted nothing the lady just pointed me where to get my hair washed. Now I recently just took out a sew in and I know it was gonna be tangled from the glue and braids but Im not tendered headed the lady who washed my hair was so rough my scalp hurted so bad and wasnt considerate didnt ask did it hurt or was the water too cold she just did her own thing .I believe she was getting annoyed cause of how tangled it was but whatever. Now as for the blow dry and how the girl did my hair wasnt bad but overall they are the worst as for professionalism and communication with their customers I always had good communication wherever I go I wont be going back

The employees offer great customer service, they know what they do, they know their customers and treat us like family. I enjoy spending a few moments chatting with them during my visits to their beauty salon.

Been going here for 5 years. Easy to establish a relationship with an operator. They know you and your hair. Shampooing is the most relaxing thing Ive ever experienced!

I have 3c/ mostly 4a armpit length natural hair and I came here in during summer 17 to get it straightened. They straightened it nice, but IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CURLS AND THE HEALTH OF YOUR HAIR DO NOT GO HERE !! They damaged my hair so bad. They sneaked and put a relaxer/texturizer in my hair and didnt use ANY heat protectant. My curls are usually realllllyy defined, As soon as I washed my hair was damn near straight and it was gummy. I take so much pride in my hair, Ive been growing it for years and for them to mess it up has me pissed! If you dont know how to properly do afro textured hair,you dont need to be doing hair!

Natty can style some hair !! My stylist is magnifico, she puts a hurting on my head as the ol heads say! Try them !
