Its pricey but you get what you pay for. Love the atmosphere and the level of expertise I get from my hair dresser.

I cannot recommend this salon enough! I recently went to get my first full set of extensions (ever) in the middle of my painful attempt to grow out my pixie cut. Jason spent an entire day applying a full head of bonded extensions to my hair - almost 8 packs - and only stopped working when I needed a break. He was very accommodating and let me get on Zoom calls and do work while he was applying the extensions, and was simply pleasant and enjoyable to spend an entire day with. I absolutely love my hair and will certainly be going back in the future!

Super clean salon, they took every COVID precaution. Brittany did a great job on my grown out quarantine highlights. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone!

I followed my stylist Anthony to this hair salon from his previous salon and its a great place. Plenty of room to wait, refreshments, and a relaxing atmosphere. But I wouldnt be going here if it werent for Anthony. Hes a great stylist, professional, and passionate about hair. He takes the time to understand your type of hair, the growth, and how you want it cut. He cuts, washes, conditions, and styles with products specifically chosen for what works with your hair. Ive tried other stylists at different locations and hes simply better than the rest. I highly recommend Anthony Paris!

Amazing salon! I just moved back to philly and I am so happy to have gone here for my hair cut! I am super particular about my bangs and Judy cut them perfectly and did an amazing blowout. Overall a wonderful experience.

I found jason Matthew Salon through their makeup artist/skin expert Julie Rubenstein. After deciding on Julie for makeup for my wedding day and seeing the salon, I decided to do my hair here as well! Fantastic staff all around, and we were able to figure out the perfect combo of hair type/style to hair stylist for each member of our party (4 total). Everyone came out looking amazing in both hair and makeup and my hair style stood up to some light rain on the wedding day.

LOVE this salon. Hairstylists are so talented and Michelles brow skills are SO ON POINT. Every time I walk out of this place I really feel *gorgeous*

Brandi did an INCREDIBLE job on my hair! It is amazing I cannot stop looking in the mirror. I have had such a hard time finding a great stylist who listens to what I want, but Brandi SAVED my hair. I had previously had a color and cut disaster elsewhere but youd never know it now. I first came in for a trim with her and I have Never had a better haircut. She took just enough off to get rid of the dead ends and shaped it so beautifully. Next I came in for a complete color re-haul and extensions. She took my from a terribly toned dead drab blonde to an amazing rich brunette with perfectly placed highlights. I have worn extensions for years, but this is the best placement and overall application I have ever received. Worth every penny and more! It is so long, thick, and full. I cant say enough fabulous things about her work. I finally found my stylist!! I feel like a model. Thanks Brandi

I went there twice and I had a nice hair cut.This last time I tried the color and I was shocked after 2h and 30min no one blow dry my hair. $245 and no blow dry?! They also put some gloss on my hair without asking permission..That’s crazy. Also no one showed me my hair and I wasn’t able to see my color.This was for sure my last time there!

Love this Salon. Parking can be tough but there are some parking lots very close. People are very friendly and accommodating. Love how much natural light there is and the place is always kept very clean. Jenn is the best stylist.

I went in for a OUIDAD cut and unfortunately am very disappointed. For $110 I dont think I got what I deserved or at least what I paid for. I have struggled for a long time with my curly hair and really thought that this would be the end of my struggle. I expressed to the technician my problem areas in hopes that hed be able to help and cut my hair to address those areas, however, that did not happen. Only and inch of my bottom layer was cut and I still have an abundance of dead hair. Overall, the salon is beautiful and the staff was very friendly.

Jason Matthew came highly recommended by friends of mine that work in the industry, for an arm & leg wax. Michele did not disappoint! Not only does she make you feel very comfortable, but she is funny and easy to talk to - which is a nice distraction and makes the time fly by. The process was quicker than I thought it would be and not as painful as I had expected. Also, the wax & products they use are top notch. I have had KP (dry skin thats tiny red bumps) on the backs of my arms my whole life. The body exfoliation kit they carry and recommended I use prior to the service almost COMPLETELY got rid of it in just 3 days of use! And I have tried every product under the sun! I will definitely be going here for all of my waxes in the future

After dealing with a bad cut job at my previous salon, I was nervous about trying Jason Matthew but my experience couldnt have been more positive! The staff was very friendly and welcoming when I came in. I got a layered cut and blow out from Jessica and was super happy with the results. She listened to exactly what I wanted and always checked in with me before trying something different. She also came off as very friendly and warm, and gave me some great tips on how to make my blowout last. My last two cuts have now been done by her and I dont plan on going to anyone else!

I went in for a complete change up. I was leaving a brown balayge for jet black and red.I also had just purchased some new Bellami extensions and needed them blended to match. I wanted someone who could bring the drama and she did just that!Jennifer is the best for color!! I did a consultation on Fri and was in by Sat morning. She executed the look I was going for almost flawlessly. It was worth every penny.

And my hair - even though years of roots and highlights is in great shape. They use excellent quality products. and Jill is wonderful and accommodating and professional. Jason is the best!!! The receptionists are terrific. This is NOT a snobby salon. They are really exceptional stylists and staff is great.

Without a doubt the best salon in Philadelphia. Every stylist is extremely talented but even more, they are all so nice and so friendly and really make your time at the salon comfortable and welcoming. I will never got anywhere else!

This complaint has nothing to do with skills. I purchased a giftcard for my sister for Christmas and was promised that the sum purchased would be put on her account under her name. My sister went and had her hair cut and colored and ended up waiting an additional 45 minutes. I had to scour my credit card statement for proof of said gift and they still could not manage to find it. Eventually the girl at the front desk called a manager and the issue was resolved. This is a very embarrassing experience. I send clients here constantly and will definitely be reconsidering recommending this salon from now on.

Anthony worked magic on my hair! It was a blend of seriously about 500 shades of blonde and brown when I came in. He was able to get out the brassy shades of my hair, while bringing back my natural brown hair color and tastefully adding back in blonde highlights all at once. Imagine going from tie dye hair to a clean slate of natural hair with subtle balayage highlights.The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and willing to help in my hair coloring process. Anthony took his time and was conscientious of what I wanted/needed done to my hair to create the look I was going for. I especially appreciated how he explained why he was doing each thing he was in not only the highlighting but cutting process! Im so glad I went to him at Jason Matthew Salon and for all his thoughtfulness, professionalism and time!!!

I absolutely love Jason & his entire team! I found the salon after moving to Philly from Toronto and Jason is absolutely one of nicest/caring people I have ever met. True story. Such a caring individual who has spent days where he stayed hours after closing just to accommodate us and ensure we were completely happy. Every time we have discussed a certain look/idea, he has nailed it each time and has never left me feeling even the slightest unsatisfied. You can tell that he truly is passionate about what he does and truly cares about his clients. I actually moved away from Philly and down to Boca Raton FL. After trying to find a new salon for several months and not being happy with the few I tried... I realized that there really wasnt anyone else who made me happier than Jason and makes me feel so good about myself every time I leave his salon. I now fly back every several weeks solely to see Jason and have him do my hair... hes that worth it and hes that good, that hes worth the flight ;) Even his staff are truly talented and he has built an amazing group of talented folks. I am a pretty picky person and have not so easy to meet standards at times...lol... I can say that this salon meets them all. Thank you so much for coming into my life!

Nice salon - Chris Sotos did a great job on a mens cut. I moved on from the oddly expensive trendy barbers in the city and invested in a quality salon cut.

They are a great place with friendly and helpful staff. I was so happy with my cut and style I will be coming back for every cut in the future.

I went to this salon after going 8 months without a haircut. I have extremely curly, fine hair, that always frizzes up right after a haircut. I had Meg Smith as my hairstylist, and she cut my hair using the Ouidad style. Needless to say, I left the salon feeling like I had new hair. This was by far the best haircut I have ever gotten, and Meg was a knowledgeable, wonderful stylist. I will definitely go back to Jason Matthew Salon. And to every woman who has curly hair: do yourself a favor at get Meg Smith to do a Ouidad haircut on you. You will feel like a new person.
