This place is nothing short of amazing. The moment I entered, Patricia and Jade at the front desk were very welcoming and professional. My dentist was Rosa, she was very efficient at cleaning my teeth and very importantly she was very friendly and she made me feel very comfortable during the process. Additionally the service that amaya dental offers is very economical hence you get great value for your money!

Came in for my regular 6 month check-up and cleaning, the service was amazing from the minute I walked in. I was seen by the hygienist Rosa. She was very informative about what she was doing and my teeth felt so clean afterwards. I highly recommend this office!

The staff is friendly and the office is warm and inviting. The doctor was clear about all of my treatments. They all work very hard to take care of their patients. My experience at Amaya Dental has been one of my most pleasurable dentist visits ever. All of the dental staff were amazing. I was greeted by two beautiful young ladies upon arrival and they were so professional and attentive to my questions/concerns. I had my routine cleaning and x-rays done by Jackie who was so sweet and so funny, she made it a fun filled experience. Though I wasn’t too thrilled that I needed to get a couple fillings done, Dr.Papir and her assistant Judy-Ann were so patient with me and spent a lot of time making sure I was comfortable during the procedure. It is definitely safe to get your teeth cleaned here. There is only one person in the waiting area at a time. Everyone is wearing masks. You don’t touch anything. The rinse is squirted around your teeth and suctioned out with the machine after you are done, so there is no rinsing and spitting out. Jackie does an excellent job cleaning your teeth. My mouth feels fresh and clean. The only negative is there is a different dentist every day. My dentist is only there on Tuesday’s.

Hi, so let me start off with saying that I am a dental hygienist but most importantly a very picky patient when it comes to my dental cleaning. I am very upfront with how I like it done, it can be annoying. I’m sensitive to the machine that shoots water, so I don’t like it used in my mouth. That means more work for the Hygienist. She had the right amount of time to get the job done without using the machine. I know many offices give less time with the patients, giving Hygienists no other option then to use machine and get patients out fast. I personally know how it is, so I make sure my patients are just as boisterous as myself so I can provide the best service with the most comfort. Today I had the pleasure of having my teeth cleaned by Veronica. She was absolutely amazing. I was pain free, and received a thorough cleaning. She catered to me and did an amazing job without taking my requests personal. Being a dental provider isn’t easy but being a patient isn’t either. I am grateful for the great service that I received from everyone In the office and will recommend them to anyone.

I saw Jackie the hygienist and she did a thorough cleaning and explained every procedure she was performing. The experience at this place is extremely awesome both from a customer service point of view and the actual dental service that amaya dental offers. I went for a routine cleaning and i was greeted in a very friendly and spritely manner by Christina and D at the front. Very refreshing energy! Jackie then examined and cleaned my teeth. She made it seem so easy to the point where i was wondering that cleaning your teeth cant be that easy and free flowing. During the process, she was so efficient and friendly. She told me that i needed a couple fillings and i agreed to have them done right away. I then proceeded to the office of doctor jamarillo where he and judy, his dental assistant did the two fillings. I must honestly say that both judy and dr. Jamarillo were extremely proficient at their job to the point where i literally didnt feel a tinge of discomfort. This is not exaggeration. And the beautiful thing is that their level of professionalism is equally matched by their warm and welcoming personalities. 10/10

I have been coming to the previous Dentist, so was a bit skeptical. So far my experience has been great. I gave 4 vs. 5 for the following reason. The light when they clean your teeth is way too hot. It’s 2019, use LED. I don’t like spitting in the mini sink, bring back the hand held vacuum for rinsing. Other way is messy. Also, old fashion scraping seems more through. Water jet seems like it does not get it all. Next time I go I’m going to ask for gold old scraping aside from those fe minor suggestions, all else has been great!Back again. Still know LED but I hear they are working on it. Always great service.

Took advantage of a Groupon offer to this dental office and LOVED it! First I must say that I was hesitant to go due to COVID but they made sure to follow all CDC guidelines by enforcing temperature checks, surveying all patients all while wearing the correct PPE. I was seen promptly at my schedule time. The girls at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Jackie, the hygienist who saw me was patient and understanding of my super sensitive teeth. I felt like I received a full cleaning and she wasn’t in a rush to get rid of me. Doctor Jaramillo made sincere and reasonable suggestions for my follow up care. I will definitely be returning.

I came to Amaya Dental with very high expectations. It is an understatement to say that they by far exceeded each and every one! From the second I walked in, I was greeted and helped. I highly recommend seeing Jacqueline. No hygienist has ever taken their time to explain everything to me and customize my cleaning that was best for me! After, I was seen by Dr. Sanchez, who was able to do my filling right then and there! Dr. Sanchez took her time and although it was a little longer, it was all very worth it because she was being very thorough and did a great job. Not only was I very happy with my filling, but she went above & beyond and even polished old fillings that had stains on them. I will definitely be recommending this office to friends and family!

First time visiting this office and I have no regrets. Due to the Covid Pandemic I was very concerned with visiting any Dental office. Even before entering Amaya Dental there was a nice bold sign stating Please do not enter if feeling sick. They will be more than happy to reschedule any appointments for a later date. They also had hand sanitizer available in every room beginning in the waiting area. The receptionist, Aylin was very well spoken, professional and welcoming (cant forget to mention that the appointments were spaced out perfectly). I was not left in the waiting area for long and only one other gentleman was waiting which gave me a sense of ease for social distancing and personal space. The Hygienist, Jaqueline was polite and attentive to my needs. She took my temperature before beginning, asked what my musical preference was and if there was anything else she could do to help ease my visit. I have ZERO pain tolerance and she made sure that I was comfortable every time shed begin another procedure on my teeth. She did a PHENOMENAL cleaning on my teeth and gave me great suggestions to keeping them clean and healthy. Dr. Jaramillo walked in to over see my procedure and spoke with me briefly regarding my x-ray. I felt comfortable with everyone in this office. Very homy feel. The goody bag as I left was unexpected and such a nice touch for me being a new patient! Overall I highly recommend this office :)

I have been a patient at Dr Mulkay and now Amaya Dental for more then 5 years. I also work there. I was a little concerned when Dr Mulkay left, but soon realized that the new doctors were just as good. It’s great to work side by side to Marylin, the other assistant that has been there for over 30 years. I enjoy being an employee/patient and working with everyone and seeing how they all treat the patients.

Was very happy when this office was ran by Dr. Mulkay. However, since changed to Amaya Dental, it became all about getting into your pocket. They upcharged me and my insurance for services that werent rendered. Charged for periodontal cleaning when a regular cleaning was done. When I contested, they tried to tell me that once you get a periodontal cleaning you can never get a regular cleaning any more. Total nonsense! Ive been getting my teeth cleaned 3 to 4 times per year, for over 15 years. Majority of the times I had regular cleanings and sometimes periodontal. Also extracted a back mollar from my wifes mouth that did not need to be extracted as per second and third opinions from other reputable dentists. As a result, she needed to fill the gap with bone graft because the hole was too close to her sinus. She will now need over $7,000 worth of work to be done in order to try to fix what they did. Its not only unethical, but also immoral and unprofessional! Be very careful and always double check what they charge you!
