If you have insurance, DO NOT go to Singing River E.R. Sounds backwards, huh? That’s because it is. They’ll ensure that your insurance is being accepted and that you won’t owe anything, then should you switch your insurance or plan or anything that messes with your insurance, you’ll get a bill a week or two later for your WHOLE hospital bill. I had my insurance at the time of visit in November 2020, canceled my insurance in February 2021, guess when I got the hospital bill? February 2021. My mom is having the exact same problem. Contacted my insurance company and they informed me that since I did have coverage at the time of my visit I can show the hospital proof and get them to send my bills to my old insurance company. I was also told to not let them get away with telling me they can’t. Do what you will with that information (which hopefully be avoiding this hospital).

Been sitting in the lobby for two hours. Arrived with blood in my urine, FEVER and severe abdominal pain. Was told by the nurse that theyre short staffed. And that I looked fine....Update: 30 mins later...I am stilllll sitting here.Update... Another 30 mins:.What a damn JOKE!!!!!!!!!!

Went in for chemical injury to eye. Nurse asked about Covid-19 and I told her no I havent ever had any symptoms. She told me to wait in waiting room which was PACKED. I asked if I could wait outside for fear of being exposed to Covid-19. She said no, please have a seat in waiting room. I told her why wait in a room surrounded by sick people if you dont want covid spread. I could stand right outside where there is much less chance of exposure and she gave me a puzzled look.

My 2 year old grandson was in Saturday with a fever of 105 ° they didnt even look at his ears or throat , told my daughter it was a virus, now he has sores in his throat!! WHAT GOOD ARE THEY ???

Front desk was mocking patients shes should be fired watched her treat people like garbage several times tonight so far. Guy came in with stroke symptoms and is sitting in waiting room lady came in frantic her mother could not breathe the receptionist smirked. It was truly sad and several people called out her behavior she should be reported to the medical bord which I am doing

Came in hurting and trying tell the nurse about how many times I have fallen at least 12 in 2 months she didnt want to hear anything I had to say I am a waste of her time 😞 and I still have to ask for a wheelchair and the she wheels me back out to the waiting room says pick a chair then they calle up to check in theyll standing around talking could care less about anyone not in their click

From the front desk to the nurse and doctor, my experience here was greeted with pure disrespect. I will never set foot in this facility again. The professionalism of the crew on site in my opinion was questionable. I was given attitude for no reason at all.

Came in because of pain from a bad car accident was there for 3 hours never got to see a doctor rude nurse proof that these ers dont hire the cream if the crop finally left

Been here almost 2 hours and still no dr. Bring a guy in from Pascagoula jail claims they are beating him and tossing him around wanted pics of his feet

Been here for almost 3 hours with possible broken bones and chest pain and people come and go and their emergency is more inportant than mine. Nurses are rude and treat people unhumanlly, this is not the right place to spend your money at when you have an emergency!

Extremely busy. Wait so far is over 3 hours. Recommend going to other hospital.
