Compassionate and cares not just about easing pain but in resolving the issue. Grateful for and would highly recommend Dr. Hapworth.

Staff is friendly and courteous. They always have a smile on their faces and really appear to be happy at work. Dr. Tucker is patient and thorough explaining procedures to me to ensure I understand what’s about to happen. I’ve been there three times for three separate procedures and every time I’ve been extremely pleased with the experience.

Dr. Hapworth took plenty of time explaining my epidural before, as well as during the procedure telling me step by step what to expect next. After the procedure, he explained what to expect in the days following. He was very pleasant and didn’t try to rush through our conversation.The rest of the staff were cheerful and helpful. It is their policy to call the day after to check on patient condition. I would not hesitate to return if another procedure is needed.

Wylie Arnett..........Dr. Hapworth was very helpful at first.Ive had multiple epidurals over the years zero issuesI had my second T level epidural at location - went home felt a little dizzy, eyes blurry, bad headache, and my ears were ringing really loud - called surgery center they told me to lay flat. Later was told by another Dr. possible spinal leak should have went to ER. When I had follow up appointment with Dr. Hapworth I was telling him what all happened- like I said this had never happened before so I was concerned- he acted upset - told me the second one was under xray exactly like the first one .......told me hydrocodone can cause ringing- changed meds cut them in half ......lol.....Guess that will teach me to keep my mouth shut .....anyway asked two pharmacists 30+ years, and two other doctors they said theyve never heard that before. I think he was really trying to help me- Im not mad, and maybe he was concerned about a lawsuit which I would never do with someone who is trying to help me .......anyway I wish him the best

I live In Alabama and Dr. Barfield has been doing treatment on me now Im coming to Mississippi to do the Rf ablation. He is a fine Dr that always explains what hes going to do before hand and is very informative of what he is doing while doing the procedure. Grateful to this man

I was at Alabama Orthopedics for 3 years until my doctor went into another field of medicine. I had an awful three months after that and decided to change doctors. You can read my review on AOC, it was horrible. Anyway, I like the facility of Pain and Rehabilitation. Nice facility, nice doctors, quick wait times, etc... After several appointments, I began to feel uneasy. I was being given expensive tests with no real help. I had been on pain medication at AOC and need it for my condition. Dr. Hapworth said I had to go be screened by a psychologist and would base my medication decision on his prognosis. I went and the psychologist was extremely nice. He said he had no problem with me getting my medication and made the recommendation. I went for an appointment yesterday and was told they would call me. They called today and said, despite the psychologists report, it was illegal and they can not prescribe. What they did not know was I had called the Alabama Board of Medicine and they said it was NOT illegal, but up to doctors discretion. I began to put two and two together. All they want is money. I was called three times prior to all 4 appointments to bring my co-pay. Before my injection in Pascagoula, I was called 5 times to remember my co-pay. So, here is what they want. They want to run a bunch of expensive tests on you but do not help. How about being shocked (hurt like hell) for 45 minutes? Maybe put a needle in you and run an electrical current (now this REALLY hurt)? Make you go to Mississippi for some injections that did nothing? Plus, they are LIARS! So, if you want a bunch of expensive tests, harassing calls about co-pays but no help, this is the place for you!!!! Do not waste your time, if you really want help, go find it elsewhere.

Dr. Hapworth is a definite asset to the medical community!! He actually sit down talked to me and explained everything he was gonna do in lamonz terms even though I didnt tell him I was A Physical Therapist and was more than understanding of what he was saying but he talked to me like A human being and we set up a game plan if the procedure I was having didnt work. Hope your lucky enough to get him if you go to the clinic. If I had to say something negative there was this nurse with long dirty blonde hair probably 50 just did not want to be there and it showed greatly, but the rest of the nurses and staff were awesome!
