You can tell a lot about how you experience is going to be by the way you are welcomed and treated at the reception desk which was very friendly, respectful and kind. The reception area is very welcoming as well as the whole layout of the office. You feel in are being taken care of by highly knowledgeable professionals in a very timely manner. What more can you ask for?

It’s going to be impossible to write a review for someone who helped change the trajectory of my son’s life for the better, but I’ll try. After an initial diagnosis we sought a second opinion. The second opinion offered only one practice she would recommend for vision therapy, the gold standard, and that was Dr. Press. We circled back and started the process. While overwhelmed with information to start each question I had was always answered. And our path was set. Easy to schedule appointments and flexible with our family schedule.The entire team from reception all the way up made us feel like we were at home when we were there. They truly cared about the success of my son as much as we did as a family. Always available to answer questions. It’s hard to count wins as parents. Dr. Press is without a doubt one of the biggest wins that we could have asked for in my son’s life! My son is now an avid reader—above grade level. He has confidence in sports that he hadn’t shown had before therapy. Great hours: I got 7:30 PM apt on Thursday. They also have eye mapping images, which is novelty, proving them very tech advanced.Everyone was super throughout and helpful. Professional. Nice, in the cute bubbly way.My eyes were checked on and discussed. All my concerns addressed and explained: short vision, small scar on one eye, I was promised eye drops for computer related dryness.It wasnt till I got to my car when I realized: I was never pointed to where to chose my frames. I wasnt given or even prescribed any drops. I wasnt provided with the prescription for glasses. I called immediately, but they were already closed for the day. I e-mailed, but they are closed Fridays.I needed the glasses in a week since the apt, I was unable to get them in time.Execution totally failed here. I was not taken care of as I should be.

Dr. Press definitely deserves 5 stars!We have been seeing Dr. Dan Press at North Suburban Vision Consultants for a few years and continue to be impressed by the professional team and expertise. Our appointments are on time and the eye exams are thorough and complete. Any concerns are always answered and we are confident in the recommendations made by Dr. Press. Today we had an appointment for our daughters kindergarten eye exam and the entire staff made her feel comfortable and at ease throughout the appointment. You wont find a better family optometrist than Dr. Press.

We take all 3 of our children to see Dr. Press and we couldnt be more pleased. We started going to the practice 3-4 years ago when my son had an eye injury. The attentive care we received at this practice kept us coming back! Our daughter also received eye therapy here for convergence insufficiency. After the therapy, she is symptom free, her grades are back up, and she is reading normally again! My husband and I would definitely recommend Dr. Press.

My twins had their Kindergarten eye exam with North Suburban. All staff members were well prepared for the little ones. They were engaged during the entire time, allowing for smooth visits for the kids. Thank you Dr Press and all staff members!

Its working. Thats all that really matters, right? The vision therapy sessions work as intended. But beyond that, Dr. Press is and staff are professional, pleasant and do a great job explaining a difficult to understand concept. In other words, they really do know their stuff.

My daughter went here two years ago for a rountine eye exam and found out she had convergence insuffiency disorder. After weeks of vision therapy she was no longer struggling in school and no longer had headaches. The staff was always very sweet.

My experience personally has been great, but what impressed me was that my son who has SPD and never has positive experiences with doctors or dentists, and Dr Press and his staff made his 1st appt a huge success. My son cooperated 100pct with Dr Press and i wont ever have to worry about an eye dr appt with him. Hey Dr Press any chance you are a dentist too??? Lol

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Vesna Simic for years. Dr. Simic and her staff are always very professional and a pleasure to work with. In addition to the office environment, Dr. Simic is beyond knowledgeable in her field and has been helping my daughter with her amblyopia. We have no complaints and continue to refer friends and family to the practice! North Suburban Vision deserves more than just 5 stars!
