Have been going to Dr. Lossman for about 35 years. I believe he had just started his practice in Park Ridge?? He and his staff have always been very professional and efficient. I understand that things take time but I have never had to sit and wait for an uncomfortable amount of time to be seen. If there was ever a delay, someone would talk to you about what is happening. That does not happen in many Doctors Offices. I really appreciate this as my time is worth something also. I say Thank You to Dr. Lossman for the fine service all of these years.

It was easy to communicate with the doctor and get really honest answers for my questions. The staff was friendly and professional and gave me sincere input to help me make decisions. I had no problems making an appointment --I got one for the very next day with them. They also have a fairly nice collection of frames!!

Lossman Eye Care has been great for us over the years. I have 2 girls who are visually impaired and they have always gone above and beyond with having glasses repaired in an emergency to fitting my girls with contacts at a young age. We are so Thankful for all you have done to improve their vision to the best it can be!! Thanks!!

Dr. Balda is the best! Amazing and very thorough. The office staff was fantastic and took the time to look at my insurance and help me save as much money as possible. Great selection of frames. Cant say enough about them!

SERVICE IS BEYOND RIDICULOUS.I was given glasses with a case that the glasses dont even fit in. Unfortunately I didnt realize it until I came home. Spent $530 on my exam and glasses. When my daughter called Lossman eye care, she was told that since its a Mark Jacobs frame, they didnt have any more cases so they gave me any other case they had. I was told that I can come and pick up another case. After explaining that I live too far and its too hard to go back with my daughter who has to drag her 3kids along, we asked if it can be shipped instead, they said they could ship it but with a 10$ shipping fee. I asked why do I have to pay a fee even if its their own mistake. Now they say I can come back and pick up 2 more cases but they cannot ship me a case... (after spending $530, and already being inconvenienced because they gave a case that doesnt fit.) Unbelievable very unprofessional!!

Weve been going here for years. All of the doctors have been helpful and knowledgeable. It does take a little longer to get your glasses or contacts, but the customer service has always been so great, that its worth it.

Since Dr Lossman left the Practice in Park Ridge- and it is now “EYE DOC.com” the business has gone DOWN HILL!!!

Dissatisfied with my experience. I had an appointment for eye discomfort, and was treated at the time. The doctor told me to call her in a week if things were not resolved. After waiting 2 weeks for the issue to resolve I called back to say I was not feeling all better. I did not get a call back, after waiting a few more days I called again, and again. I was told each time that the doctor was not available and would call me back. She never did.

Im very disappointed. The worst customer service experience! I was waiting 3 days to get the eyedrops prescription. I have been calling many times with complains that eyedrops did not help me. Dr Jennifer never called me back. She doesnt care about her patients. It has been almost 2 weeks and my eyes burn and are even more red.

For 2 years, I have appreciated dealing with Dr. Lossman for my eye exams, and have felt the staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. This year, however, has been a disappointment. The exam itself was not done by Dr. Lossman, just seemed rushed.I have procured multiple frames from this location without issues in the past. This time I found a pair of frames I thought I liked to replace Maui Jims I lost on the beach in FLA. These were not in stock, but I was told only week to 10 days; and I would be called just as soon as they came in. That was 22 days ago.I have since called 3 times to check on status, and no one knows anything. Ive been told twice that I would be called back without anyone doing so! They need to learn bare fundamentals of professionalism!I just called third time, and at least the gentleman admitted they didnt have a clue what had been ordered for me. At least he was honest. So, now I must go back in to go through the selection process again. Im a busy professional, but oh well, I guess their time is more valuable than mine it seems!!!Follow up:I received a call directly from Dr. Lossman, who apologized. I thought well mistakes can happen.I went back in and selected frames and the lenses. The order was to take 7-10 days. Last Friday, 2/12/16, I called to check on status, and was told specifically it would be the next Friday, feb 22nd. I waited patiently and just called today 2/22/2016, to be told the glasses have been sitting there since last Friday the 12th, the day I called. The individual answering the phone tried to tell me the office called me last Friday the 12th. That was a falsehood. No one tried to call me, as I know every single call that comes through and no voicemail was left. She could have been referring to my call to them.In any event, that inept office staff has allowed me to wait on my glasses for well over a month, and they have been in their office for a week without so much as a telephone call. This is beyond bad service. This is abysmal. I am frankly amazed that with this terrible level of bad service that the office can stay in business. There are many competitors out there, and its hard to believe that they are still around!
