I have been going to Dr. Lago’s office for over 5 years now and could not be happier so I knew my search was over. However, we moved out of state and I visited another dentist there for tooth sensitivity on the lower tooth. The dentist took xrays but wanted to put a crown on the upper tooth which I refused. I don’t want to bore you with the long story but the dentist finally placed a crown on the wrong lower tooth. Still the sensitivity was there and they kept filing my tooth down each time I went back in since problem was still there.I flew in to visit Dr. Lago and he took care of me. Dr. Lago went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable during the surgery. He took the time needed to explain my procedure in detail. I was very anxious about the procedure, but the experience was so much better than I could have imagined it would be. After the procedure, Dr. Lago called us at night just to follow up. I feel very optimistic about flying back for my implant soon. Yes, I am having to fly back and forth but having my mind at ease with my dental health is priceless! . Thanks to everyone for being so considerate and kind during my visit. Dr Lago and his staff are committed to great service, highly recommended.

A biologically compatible, do no harm dentist who cares?If you care about your health, I highly recommend Dr.Lago.I was tired of being treated like a number in a herd and being poisoned with estrogenic and toxic heavy metal fillings and cleanings with toxic fluoride treatments.And walking out with an over heated jaw from a high speed drill.And being scolded and intimidated because some of my teeth need care.Seeking a better and biologically friendly dental experience, I found Dr. Lago via the internet.He safely removed a toxic amalgam filling, re-filled an old cavity with non estrogenic filling, assisted with removing an improperly placed heavy metal titanium implant and replacing it with a zirconia implant and crown.He placed a zirconia crown over a previously heavily decayed tooth thus averting tooth extraction.He whitened my own teeth to the maximum (almost paper white) and performed non toxic cleanings.All work was done with OCD like attention to detail to my complete satisfaction and well-being.Dr. Lago even took the time to teach me to floss properly which to my delight stopped my gums from bleeding within a week.Brush, floss (each tooth) and brush again before bed, consistently, each and every day.My health and energy levels have improved with the help from dental care from Dr. Lago.I wish I didnt need to, however I no longer dread going to my dentist.

Dr. Lago is your dentists dentist. Hes more expensive than most, yet hes worth every penny. His patients are like family to him, so he takes such good care, with great attention to detail: from the little things that ensure your comfort to full cancer checks. I had a fairly serious dental problem that plagued me for years. During that period, several dentists fixed it, yet every time, I had to go back and get everything redone. Not so with Dr. Lago: his work lasts. If I had found him sooner, I would have saved myself a lot of money.

My husband and I became patients of Dr. Lagos several years ago after he was highly recommended to us by a friend. Dr. Lago is an excellent holistic dentist. He has done extensive work on both of us, including repairing shoddy work done by previous dentists. One of the things we most appreciate about him is his attention to detail; Dr. Lago is a perfectionist and will take the extra time necessary to do superior work and provide his patient with the best possible outcome. My first appointment was wonderful. The receptionist/office manager was so informative and knowledgeable. She walked me through the process and spent a lot of time with me. Dr. Lago took his time with me, answered all my questions and was meticulous with his work on my crown and non metal implant. He even did a great job making my front teeth look bright, beautiful and natural looking.

Dr. Lago has been my dentist for over 5 years, when I switched from my downtown Chicago dentist of decades. Using porcelain, zirconium and other non-metallic materials, he has carefully and thoroughly taken care of my teeth. When I cracked the tooth below the crown of my upper left lateral, he had to extract it and put a graft into the bone. He created a flipper replacement while that healed, then a non-metal implant and finally a crown that is indistinguishable from my natural teeth. In the process, he whitened my uppers, so that I have a smile I can be proud of again.

I found Dr. Lago to be readily available to answer any questions about my dental care. Very professional and consciencious of only what needed to be done. I have had extensive work done in the past and wish I had found him sooner. He is honest and very caring towards your dental needs. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Lago has helped me improve my periodontal health in holistic ways. He is passionate about his work and really cares about his clients. He always listens and takes time to answer my questions. My teeth feel cleaner than anywhere else I have gone, and my home care has improved with his guidance and carefully selected products. HIs assistant, Stephania, is a nutritionist and PhD and is specially trained, and is a wonderful support and resource. I am glad I have found Dr. Lago and value him as a partner in my dental health.

Terrible! I brought my daughter here after being told that he does see children yet he doesnt have the proper tools for a childs mouth and my daughters gums bleed for 10days after the visit. His wife works there as a nutritionist and they say they offer her advice as a part of the visit and that this is what sets them apart but this is also untrue. She provides no input what so ever and when I asked a basic question about the white on the tounge I was given the explanation that it was just the way some kids are. Thats obviously not true either and any nutritionist would know that was related to candida. This is just another dentist jumping on the wellness wagon to try and over charge and deceive Patients into thinking they are paying for a quality and holistic experience when it is neither. Dont be fooled

Dr. Lago saved me! On Jan. 1st I woke up with a horrible abscess, caused by infection on a bridge! I never want to have another bridge done anymore! It was a holiday so I didnt have much of a choice, but to go to a local dental office, as long as they will take me the same day! The doctor there prescribed me Amoxycilin and send me home with a $ 5500.00 estimate to have that tooth extracted and for a new bridge! That price almost gave me a heart attack! 2 days later the pain was still horrible, I was still swollen! I knew I had to check that tooth again, so I went to dr. Lagos office for a second opinion! It was my very first time there. He didnt just gave me a different antibiotic, but he also cleaned up around the bridge so well, that 20 min. later I felt such a relieve, I couldnt believe it! But I must say that for the first 20 min. I cried my eyes out, it was that painful! The infection started going away the same day. Eventually I had to have that tooth extracted, but thanks to dr. Lago and his proper diagnostic I didnt have to suffer anymore! Thats my personal experience and I will always be thankful for his work, because I believe he takes his profession very seriously and personally!
