Everyone that we have been in contact with from the nurse at the primary care, the hearing center, the lab, scheduling have all been very efficient and attentive to our needs.

I have called twice, been immediately put on hold (which is fine), then after approximately five minutes someone hangs up the phone and I have to call again. Is there a problem with the system? Or do they not answer the phone?

Have tried scheduling an appointment online for over 6-months, and have yet to get seen or even receive a call back from anyone. I get a message to my e-mail stating an appointment has been made and then nothing shows up for a scheduled appointment. I understand that there are precautions being taken for COVID, but people still have medical issues that need attention!!

Why is the AUDIO Ctr still closed in Panama City....and please do not blame it on Covid 19.............There is NO Reason proper precautions cannot be exercised here...like everywhere else in the USA. If it is lack of personnel other real issues it should be stated as this.....Take Care of your VETS please.

12/24/2020, Went in to see about services only to be told I had to fill out a transfer form. They said it would take about a day or 2 and they would send me an email. Its been nearly 10 days and no word from them at all. Typical response from the VA. A worthless group of incompetent morons!update 4/17/2021: I never heard from them. I guess theyre busy lining their pockets with our tax dollars instead of helping veterans! Typical!

This particular VA clinic is one of the worst from which I have had to received services. Unfortunately, I do not have a choice and am mandated to use them. I have had consistent issues obtaining appointments for dental cleaning. I called and the lady literally told me that the ONE PERSON who can take appointments was out that day and that I should call the Pensacola location and they would schedule me for the PC location. Didnt seem to be an efficient management of appointments if only one person can do it, but I called Pensacola. I was then placed on immediate hold for over 16 minutes, at which point I had to cut my losses and get back to work. When trying to get refills on prescriptions, this is not like a typical pharmacy where you can obtain it the same day (or next at the latest). Multiple times I have had to wait 4-5 days for a prescription refill as they were extremely short staffed. I am not sure if this is due to the hurricane 8 months ago or not. But, be aware prior to going in or calling. Have a LOT of patience prepared.

PC has been my VA care since 2012, and since 2012 I have had nothing but issues. The past two years I havent been able to be seen and been going to a private doctor until I lost insurance. In Sept I called and asked for any Monday appointment, she scheduled....I got the confirmation letter in the mail that it was for the day after she told me on a Tuesday.I called to rescheduled and told I had to be pushed out to November then.I have drove to the clinic twice for an appointment they have told me about and it was scheduled wrong This morning I was informed I had an appt at 9:30...I get there and was told it was Thursday at 9:30, then called and told it was Thursday at 930 in Pensacola instead.I even called the patient advocate and program director..... with no return calls. I asked for an ENT referral in 2013, and was told they didnt have one local only in MS, and I asked everything I go in....and still havent been sent. They can spend all the money and time on new buildings to improve care.... and it still didnt make a change. They need to use the money to replace their staff with individuals with proper training or education.

Phone system requested you pick a number to direct your call. I picked several different numbers and system failed to connect me to anything. I called back, finally picked a number, got mental health clinic and they forwarded my call to the front desk which NEVER answered. Very disappointing and sad that my husband who has such tremendous health issues due to his service to this country, can not get this clinic to even as much as answer the phone.

Pharmacy and dr. is inside the same building, making visit quicker and easier. Really like new building and not having to go on base.

Call ahead before you fight that tourist traffic to make it in there before they close; they make their own hours and don’t update the va.gov website. FYI, they close at 1600.

The lady and gentlemen working at the front desk for the primary care provider constantly make derogatory remarks about veterans. How we are incompetent. How we need to be charged out of pocket for making their jobs harder.
