My doctor is the best! I have not had great past experiences with Pulmonary Specialists and I have to say this group is fantastic. His assistant is the best also. (I do not mind the hour wait - the doctor takes the time with you that is needed). The Front Desk staff at Altamonte is excellent. The Triage Nurse Group is excellent. Unfortunately the rest of the office departments seem to thrive on voice mail and dont always call back. From clinics to administrators they all hide behind voicemail. Very frustrating. So minus two stars for administration. They really need to work on better administrative practices Fix the problems because it isnt working well from a patients perspective. Five stars for medical.Given the complaints Ive read here it seems that fixing the administration/organization would probably help.

Good Doctor, however very disappointed that to get results of an exam I have to schedule an appointment because no one is available to speak to you over the phone and DR doesnt call to provide results.

The single worst medical experience Ive ever had. Doctors, nurses, and schedulers alike wore masks improperly or not at all, including in my exam room and in the confined room in which I had to remove my mask to take breathing tests. Dr. Haim couldnt find anything wrong on my chart and—despite not having asked about my physical activity levels (I run and do HIIT until I started experiencing complications)—took one look at me and said You need to get on a treadmill. Didnt answer my questions, was super disrespectful, and put me at risk of further infection... youll be treated better elsewhere.

I had a new patient appointment scheduled today and called this morning to confirm. I was told I needed to arrive at 1:30pm for a 2:00pm appointment. Upon arrival, I notice a group of five patients (most average 65 or above), looking confused and all waiting outside the front doors. Upon closer inspection there was a sign on the door instructing everyone to wait in there car and call one of the two numbers provided. It was immediately clear that everyone was unhappy as no-one was able to get through to either of the numbers given and there was no option to leave a message. After waiting for 15 minutes and watching everyones growing frustration, I tried the door, but it was locked. Seated just inside however were two people at the check-in desk. I knocked on the door and one came and cracked the door, telling me I needed to call the number, to which I replied that we ALL were trying to do so but no one was answering. She said that her and her associate were answering the phones and they were really busy, but to keep trying. She then went back inside, leaving a wheelchair restricted elderly guest with an Oxygen tank and six others waiting in the heat. At 1:45pm one guest got through to the number and asked if she could give the names for her and four other guests who needed to check in. She was told she could only check herself in and for the others to keep trying. At 2:00pm I could still not get through on either numbers and decided enough was enough. At 3:00pm I received a call to my cell phone asking if I was outside and telling me that they were ready for my appointment, to which I informed them I would not be a patient now or in the future. I understand the the need for COVID19 precautions and have witnessed those in effect at other medical offices. This was a poorly executed plan that actually put elderly guests in more risk by having them huddled outside in the heat instead of socially distanced in the waiting area. I hope someone from the practice will step outside for a few moments and see what it is like from their clients perspective.

Dr. Garcia mentioned a procedure that couldnt be scheduled and I was charged for two appointments and a ct scan without resolution. The service is terrible even from the first call. Had to talk to 3 different receptionists to get an appointment scheduled. Had an appointment with R Garcia, I dont suggest going to him because he will give you a run around just to keep scheduling appointments and leave out crucial information. The first appointment I went in with pain and left with no resolution. It was a complete waste of time and money.Cindy the clinical manager did absolutely nothing after 3 appointments with no resolution and defended Garcia without listening to me as well as kept talking over me. I find it hard to believe that Dr. Garcia tried to request the procedure he mentioned as Cindy stated. Cindy also seemed to contradict herself by saying he had decided it wasnt urgent enough to reach out. I have woken up in pain everyday for the past 1.5 years how is this not urgent?Melissa who is the billing manager said services were rendered because I got results. The antibiotics I received in the second appointment I couldve gotten from my primary care doctor and I am frustrated I had to pay for a specialist. Garcia wasnt even able to treat for pain at all which wasnt mentioned when the follow up appointment was set up. I would not have even gotten the antibiotics until the 10th if I hadnt moved up the appointment; leaving me without treatment for 2 weeks. Even after a CT scan Garcia couldnt tell me what was wrong. I do not recommend this place at all!

My experience has been consistently positive. Yes, its a super busy practice, but I have always been taken back within a reasonable wait. Once called, the treatment has been very efficient - both diagnostic testing and Dr.s visits. Dr Go has been very patient and always takes the time to work with me ongoing to dial in the proper med combination for my allergies and asthma. Its a process, but I will say I am doing much better after being under her care for the last 6-8 months.

I went the first time and it was ok. The second time the ct scan tech and the dr wasn’t in the same page. The third and last was today when I waited for over one hour and no one check on me. I opened the room door and ask one of the nurses if they could tell me how much longer, she said there were three patients ahead of me witch means another hour. Seriously, courtesy go a long way and there is none.

They just want your money and do not care about you at all. They charged me over $500 for a visit and a breathing test. Mind you the breathing test took all of 10 minutes to do but they say it is separated into three different “tests” so you end up paying for three different things that were essentially one test?? So it cost me $300 to breathe into a tube for 10 minutes....

2 stars is being generous. Every time I have come to this place I have had to cancel meetings and clear my afternoon. One time I sat in a room (after having my vitals taken) for 2 hours. Today, I was sitting, waiting to be seen. I was the Doctors 2nd appointment after lunch (at 1:15pm). At 2:30pm I hadnt even been assigned to a room yet (so I can wait some more!) so I simply left the place. Sorry, I understand the need to triple book to maximize profit, but your customers have lives/jobs.Another time, I must share that a Doctor called me at 9:15pm AT NIGHT after a CT scan. It scared the daylights out of me. Why would your doctor be calling you this late after a CT scan? The reason: Can you confirm the spelling of your last name. Unprofessional to say the least.I am currently looking for a different place to go.

Plan on waiting at least 1 hour past your scheduled doctor appointment to be seen by your doctor. Staff are empathetic about patient situation but have no control over the overbooking situation. Doctors and staff are concerned about patient care. Unfortunately overbooking is a common occurrence at most doctor offices today but seems with all the modern technology the patients could be better informed of delays via text etc so they could plan better and not rush to a appointment only to wait much longer than expected.

Doctor & front office staff were nice, now the people that perform the breaking tests, treat patients like they are in elementary school, screaming & yelling at the patients, like their kids. When i had my test, the guy just gave up, after i couldnt perform the test. I could barely breath! yet alone wear a nose clip & breath normal to take the test, kept telling the guy i couldnt breath. And he just saying, your holding your breath. I was telling myself, keep calm, your new~ he was getting on my last nerve! Then he has the nerve to write, patient refused to follow instructions in the doctors notes. I was like seriously? The other thing i didnt like was they, try to get you to enter your credit card info, so they can just bill you for co-payments, without swapping your card after every appointment. I was like not in this life time! so you can bill me what ever you want.. Ill pay at time of appointment, so i can see whats being charged.

I made an appointment which was rescheduled due to availability of the physician. Staff is rude and it is nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone. I called an the automated attendant said your call will be answered in SEVEN MINUTES. I waited and was sent to voicemail which promptly told me that the mailbox was full. I dont know if the doctors are good or not, but the practice management is terrible.

Horrible! Dr Mobin has no bed side manner at all and no respect for your time. Waited 45 minutes to find out a CT scan I had done 3 weeks ago was never looked at. When I questioned him about that and my condition he just kept saying the same thing over and over. When I suggested that he and I wasn’t going to be a match he said to me and I quote “there is no doctor I would match or get along with”Nice thing to saySo I left not knowing anything more than I did going in?

If Dr. Masood and CFPG was the pulmonologist on earth, I still wouldnt go. I would be dead before they assisted in treatment anyways. I waited seven weeks from when my first appointment was and nothing got accomplised. I had to pay out of pocket for an in-home sleep study because my insurance would not approve it... After contacting my insurance, CFPG never even contacted my insurance provider to see if I could get approved. Which I did not need approval for! I had a second appointment with Doctor Masood, I showed up and they couldnt explain why I was there. I called them out for the lack on interest in assisting, Dr. Masood was not happy I questioned the operation. I found a doctor that cares, is attentive and isnt to busy for patients (Dr. Navin Verma), I went on a Thursday afternoon, by the following Tuesday he had already done an in-home study and prescribed a machine for me to assist with my apnea, all of which was covered under two co-pays/visits and 4 business days.

Been going there almost 20 years. They have expanded so much, service is not as great and personable as it used to be when they were small. Now its serving volume to generate more business, but I know how they work like the back of my hand. TIPS, get to know the Doctors nurse and build a relationship with her, get her number and deal with her directly to leave messages to doctor or for paperwork needed. I bypass talking to the triage nurse who is not as nice or caring like Louise who is now retired. Save money by making an appointment with the nurse practitioner and to be seen sooner rather than waiting long time for appointment with doctor. Lung function capacity tests are very expensive and not needed unless you are very sick or concerned, same with xrays. These are routine exams that generate them big $$$.You have the right to turn them down, use comon sense! You get better service and your doctor wont be in a rush if you visit him at his main office and not the one where he is only there once a week!

They moved fast with the parts of the appointment. Staff were all friendly. Doctor was helpful and easy to talk to.My only problem, as a health care professional in imaging with different modalities, hospitals and facilities, the chest xrays are very poorly done. Poor positioning, no desire for good images without artifacts obstructing anatomy. That work is unacceptable in practice and radiologists dont like sloppy work, theyre responsible to ultimately diagnose all anatomy in that image. The pulmonologist is okay with it though which is odd. Maybe the techs are BMOs and not RTs.

Dr Vu is a great Doctor and Im there cause of him, Regarding the staff I never had a issue with, in fact they even look out for me, the phone system they use to answer and try to contact is a piece of crap. Its like if they dont want anyone to call and speak to a human being. I call and call and call and call, it always goes in to a voice mail belonging to Daniel Jones. I struggle with the though of finding another place but unfortunately, Im afraid of experimenting in finding another Doctor like Dr Vu. CFPG should take under strict consideration in adopting/investing a better phone system that can make it accessible for patients to be able to communicate with the office.

About two years ago, I went to CFPG because I needed an updated sleep study performed. The doctor was nice and attentive but the follow-up after the sleep study was nonexistent. Every time I would call to follow-up with their respiratory department regarding the status of my test results and my new prescription my call would go to voicemail where the message states you will receive a call back in 24-48 hours; the problem is they would never return my call. It took me countless attempts over several months to finally get a copy of my new prescription. My insurance company is now requesting an updated copy of my prescription before they will pay for a new cpap machine. It seems that nothing has improved in their process over the past year and a half as I am experiencing the exact same difficulties; no one answers the phone and I leave a voicemail and no one calls me back. This is absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced and I would not recommend this practice under any circumstances. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place like the plague.

I liked the practice and although I did experience a little wait, it was not excessive. I went in to see Dr. Layish who was very courteous and professional. The staff was also the same. Dr. Layish was very thorough. I liked that he gave me a copy of the notes taken during my visit with him. He ruled out some things but more importantly let me know he suspected I had sleep apena which turned out to be true. I was promptly scheduled for the necessary sleep studies and now have a CPAP machine which has improved my sleep and health greatly. I would recommend the practice to others.

I have never heard of reception that has failed countless times to answer a call or call back. Edit 2 years later after my first review and it has only gotten worse. Receptionist does not answer 80% of the time, never relays messages, forgets to schedual appointments. Layish never checks lab work till you show up even if it was taken weeks before. Dont care about your symptoms, just throws you on whatever meds youve taken before, before finding out the problem. Always on vacation, can never get a hold of anyone in office and also seems like if you dont want the vertex drugs then you just dont matter.
