I don’t know about Rabies. But I know there are a LOT of issues stemming from the office staff. Advent health needs to address this issue immediately. If you have any medical issues, you need to contact someone else who will prioritize seeing you. The doctor is great, the staff is absolutely horrible.

Since they wanted to be unprofessional and keep deleting my Facebook comments about my issues, I’m leaving this review here. I want to start by saying that Dr. Holloway is an amazing doctor, this is not in relation to him. However, there are major issues with front office staff. I’m not sure if it’s a training, management, or employee selection issue, but something needs to be looked into and done. My gyn surgeon sent my information to them upon being referred, and this office was supposed to contact me within two business days. After a week went by without hearing anything, I started calling and could not get an answer. I left messages for days without a call back. After a couple of weeks of trying, I contacted my referring surgeons office. The medical assistant could not get through to them, and had to get the office manager involved. The office manager had to threaten to stop referring to this office in order for me to get a call. Funny how I got a call back within minutes of them making that “threat”. I had my appointment a few days later, and loved Dr. Holloway. However about a month later, I started having bleeding between periods which is concerning given my history. I wanted to see dr. Holloway as he is supposed to be the one handling anything related to my tumor. Again, I called the office for weeks, leaving messages and not getting a call back. I gave up and told my surgeon what was going on, and he ordered me an ultrasound immediately even though he’s really not the one who’s supposed to be managing this case. Now the unprofessional staff are deleting my comments on Facebook as they don’t want anyone to see. However, I know for a fact I’m not the only one with these issues. The root cause of these issues needs to be determined and addressed before they kill someone. This is an ONCOLOGY office, we’re not here for an annual physical or a cold.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kendrick’s since I was diagnosed with OC in April 2018 shortly after giving birth to my only daughter. He performed a complete hysterectomy on me just a few weeks after my c-section and I can honestly say that he is one of the best doctors I’ve ever encountered. He treats me like a patient, not a number, takes his time during our appointments, and has always been confident and reassuring in my treatment plan. You need to be realistic but remain positive in this type of situation and he does just that. His genuine compassion and expertise are a rare combination, so I am beyond thankful that he is my Oncologist. He’s done other procedures for me since the beginning of my treatment and has been my attending physician during my multiple hospital stays. His office nurses are equally as amazing. They respond quickly to my phone calls, get me in to see him ASAP if anything comes up, and they always greet me with a smile. I went to MD Anderson in Houston for a second opinion and they agreed wholeheartedly with Dr. Kendrick’s treatment plan for me and they are considered one the best cancer treatment centers in the US. I cannot speak to the other doctors in the practice as I’ve had limited interactions with them, but Dr. Kendrick is nothing short of fantastic. I won’t trust anyone else to be my GYN Onc.
