Just came in from pouring rain along with another family. The staff could care less about the patients or their families. They dont answer the phone and when they do after multiple calls you get the wrong information.

We could not be MORE thankful for the love, medical care, and knowledge Dr. Lee provided our son and family. He was incredibly thorough, walked us through our options, never rushed us, and offered us compassion during a very difficult time. Our son was six months old when Dr. Lee came into our life. He is now almost 8 years old and Dr. Lee not only remembers us, but is genuinely happy to see how well our child has thrived! And when another family member needed Dr. Lee’s expertise, he was quick to respond and accommodate his medical care. What an amazing doctor and human being we found in Dr. Lee. We will be forever thankful for him!

I had thought this team of proffesionals was going to be a blessing after a Neuro in our hometown basically said he didnt know what else to do ...we were admitted to the EMU for 5 days two times with NO idea still of the origion of her seizures..along with the fact I was the only parent and could not leave the room i felt trapped...The worst thing was last visit i was late and frusterated that day due to traffic and my PTSD...i was late amd completely flustered but went upstairs to mame an appearance and rescedule...when i left the social worker and front desk lady called CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES om me making accusations i had left my child in a car my makeup was runny and I was jittery...Well I hooe no one else has any personal issues upon visiting them or they will assume you are bad...Anyhow I was investigated amd my entire life impeded upon drug tested i mean i was put thru hell.Last week I received a letter stating I am CLEAR of any accusations of medical neglect...I am disgusted to the core of these woman who done this and I hope they get better staffing next time around...seems like they could have just asked if i was ok and who was downstairs with my child ..or even looked out the Windows lol they would have seen her and my mother out front

When our family first decided to meet with Dr. Lee, our son had already been through 6 neurologist. We were extremely frustrated and had very little answers to improve our sons quality of life. Right away, my husband and I knew we were making the right choice with Dr. Lee. Along with Dr. Lee’s compassion and professionalism, his office was super nice and pleasant. His office was helpful in getting all my sobs previous records — from multiple locations that my son had been. Our son ended up undergoing emergency brain surgery and Dr. Lee’s entire team was amazing. We couldn’t have chosen a better Neurologist and team. Our only regret is we didn’t find him sooner. So grateful for all they have done to help us get the best care for our son. I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a great neurologist group. A special thank you to Andrea for always going above and beyond in helping us with all the road blocks we face. Your care and professionalism is outstanding!

Our son was a patient of Dr. Lees for 4 months. Seen him twice in the hospital after big seizures, never in office. Diagnosed our son with Dravets Syndrome and said see you in 6 months after misdiagnosing for 4 months. This is a rare and catastrophic form of epilepsy with a high fatality rate. They would never respond to our calls, 5-10 weekly, and then said they would be investigating them after inviting me to his office. He said we dont need a second opinion and to stop going to the ER because we are overreacting. We only went to the ER after 20-30 minute seizures and our son turned blue and quit breathing. They never see us, call to see how he is doing or any interaction whatsoever. He called us today and said he is not seeing us anymore because we cursed at his nurse on the phone and called her the n-word and hung up on my wife. He also said we want him to have seizures because we question why he tries certain drugs and need to be better parents. We did no such thing and recorded the conversation. I recorded all of them to prove they were not giving him our messages, as he stated over a month ago after the visit in his office. His nurse is a liar and racist. I will be filing a formal complaint to the hospital and medical board. You should not have a license and you dont care about your patients. You arent hurting us, but our son and I pray you and your family never have to deal with something like this. I already reached out to the Dravets Syndrome Foundation and they are disgusted. I documented everything. We lost his older brother 4 years ago and dont curse at home, or in general. Investigate your nurse and listen to the recording you have of the phone call before you make judgements.

Dr. Seo is awesome. She really cares about her patients and listens to all concerns you are having. She is the 3rd Neuro we have seen. We finally have right treatment and my child has been seizure free for almost a year. The staff have been great even having a billing issue it was taken care of right away! Im so happy to have found this office. #trisomy13friendly

I give Dr.Skinner 5 stars and the front desk 0 stars.What a shame.VERY RUDE AND LIER!

My son is seen here by Dr. Seo, she is amazing. Very thorough, caring, organized and has wonderful bedside manner. She is the 5th Neuro we have been to and the only one to go above and beyond for my child. We LOVE her!! Would definitely recommend.

After being with a Nuerolgist who just wanted to do repeat EEGs and push more drugs, I found this team. Dr. Seo wanted to try everything natural first for my daughter and find out what to do and why this is happening. We went through extensive tests for a week in the hospital. Thanks for thier thorough research and operation that my daughter had, as of now, she is seizure free. Please do your research first and dont go by ratings of admin staff, the doctors really care and have listened and calmed our every worry and concern. Of course no one is perfect, but I cannot argue with thier results. My two year old daughter has a much grater chance at a normal life without siesures thanks to this team!

I agree with previous posts. Doctor Skinner is pleasant but doesnt follow up with patients and leaves it for the front desk to do for them. Then they add their own opinions to things they dont know about. Still didnt get answer to what I needed followed up on. I suggest take your tests they perform to some other place like Shands/UF Hospital.

So my sons Nurolgist came in who is who is the best and said that the EEG shows a lot of flickering on the left temporal lobe. Which he doesnt do that surgery the Doctor who dismissed My son from his practice in October does he was dismissed because I didnt want him to go home the same day he had 6 seizures in a row.. But I Thought I would go over there and talk to him about taking my son back. I get to the receptionist and ask if I Can Speak to Dr.lee she asked my sons name date of birth she said you know he was discharged I said yes but I would like to speak to him about taking My son back he is getting worse he had 13 seizures in 2 days she said hold on she comes back and said Dr. Lee is busy with patients I said if you dont mind I will wait in the waiting room until he is free I dont mind.. So Im sitting there on my phone waiting for Dr Lee to come out so we can talk about My son when 8 security guards come to escort me out for no reason. These Doctors are supposed to take a hypocritical oath to take care of patients. My son is 13 and has been through hell and back..

Checked in at 1:55 pm and waited over an hour without ever seeing Dr.Lee. I had to leave because I had another arrangement. When I made the appointment they told me the appointment would only take an hour. Took off time from work and drove 30 minutes to their office. Never got to see the doctor or received my test results. Informed me that the doctor can call me with the results but wasnt sure how long that would take. Itll probably be two weeks before I receive anything. I would not recommend and extremely upset about my time being wasted. Staff was friendly.

The office staff is below average at best. On several different occasions they have proven to be unresponsive. Once I had to call several times to get the results of my then infants EEG. One can imagine the anguish of a family waiting on such results of their most little precious gift. In two other separate incidents I had to call multiple times to get a form and letters for my daughters school and swimming lessons. Even after arriving to the office in person, the staff insisted I return or wait another 3 days, rather than ensure I left with what I needed, regardless of the fact they were the reason that so much time had passed. It is a shame they dont view parents as an extension of the children they serve and attempt to partner with them in the care of these warriors by simply alleviating unnecessary stressors of what is already a challenging circumstance. Even more disheartening is they dont view themselves and their roles as an extension of the providers who I believe do a good job. Unfortunately, in order to continue to seek treatment here I would be doing so IN SPITE of the office staff.
