Why do i have to give them 1 star?If I had not gone to another Doctor for my chest pains I would be dead right now!!! The doctor here told me to take Tums! the doctor I had gone too... (in a theme park!) told me to stay seated and she was going to call an ambulance for me to go to the hospital!I WOULD BE DEAD!!!!! IF I DID NOT GO TO THE MICKEY MOUSE DOCTOR!!!I was not even a patient at Disney! Disney Doctor even called the hospital to talk to me 2 days later!if you want pills... like Tums for chest pain! WOW!!!Normally youd think Id call a Mickey Mouse Doctor a bad one! Im alive now because of the Wellness Center at Walt Disney World!If I was still a patient pinero preventive medical care I WOULD BE DEAD!I was having chest pains at home! I drove all the way to Disney, not up the street to pinero preventive medical.After that I called them and told them Im not going to them again!... and they billed me! What a mess!!!Now! I go to the Disney Doctor! when Im done... I go in EPCOT! Disney has me in programs for Heart Disease and Diabetes! This doctor never done that!

Great office and fantastic staff. They’ve been quick to see me when I arrive, friendly, and informative. The providers are good listeners. The care you hope to find in a practice.

The office staff are very helpful and the nurses are extremely friendly and welcoming. Dr. Velez is absolutely amazing and you can tell he really cares about his patients, he is hands down one of the best doctor I’ve ever had. I don’t mind driving 35 minutes away just to go to him.

They always treat me with respect, consideration and are very informative. I trust them and have confidence in their opinions.

First visit to his office today, felt very comfortable and glad I made the switch.

Staff is rude, tried to charge me twice for a paid office visit. Had to email the receipt and bank account that proved I paid. Wonder how many patients they conn this way?Dr. Pinero is polite but brief, like he doesnt care to be there.

Be very careful when you go to these guys..... they tried to charge me 25 dollars for a no show charge when i had called and rescheduled before my schedule day... i am a diabetic and they were charging my insurance 20 dollars to check my blood sugar level....when my insurance company said no they had me pay 20 dollars X 2 so 40 dollars because they checked my blood sugar twice.... and didnt decide to tell me after the first time that my insurance wasnt going to pay for it... for 40 dollars, i can get 2 months worth of supply and check it twice daily.... i am going to switch doctors because even after i tried to say that i was not told that i would be charged for that.... i was told you have to.... DO NOT go there not unless you dont care for your money!

Very good but I had to switch doctors when he no longer took my insurance. He gets 5 stars.

I love Dr.Pinero! He is professional, caring, thorough and really cares about patients health. I am proud to call him my doctor.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Pinero and his staff. Ive seen him for years and cant imagine going somewhere else.

Not very many doctors call the hospital to see how you are doing.

My husband used Dr. Pinero previously but had to switch due to the mismanaged and unprofessional office staff. He recently decided to give the office a second chance and once again was disappointed. He was not helped and treated with disrespect. It is unfortunate because Dr. Pinero seems to be a good doctor but ineffective in the mismanaged environment.

Maybe a good doctor but who does not care for his patients.40 days ago I went to his office to get his clearance as my general physician for over 2 years for a major, 4th back surgery - fusion of 6 vertebrates. I get to the office, he walks in and says - I told you I need your cardiologist clearance to give mine. I answered I just handled it to your assistance. 45m late his assistance says he was running very late and asked me to see one of his staff doctors. They took me to this nice lady, who asked for additional blood work downstairs and said the office would send clearance to my surgeon. After 10 days my surgeon never got his clearance but since they had the cardiologist they went ahead with surgery.On my visit with Dr. Pinero Assistant and other doctor they schedule me a return visit within 30 days of my surgery (before my return home to Brazil) which I went today.For a couple of days I thought about what had happened to me at Dr Pineros office and I made a review - with 3 stars about the subject. I did say that in spite of being very well treated by the Doctor that I saw - as a patient who lives in Brazil, who was coming as he well knew to Orlando for this major surgery.... I knew he was at the office because he had walked in to ask for the Cardiologist clearance and then disappeared. When I was about to leave this clinic that day he showed up again to say he was sorry for the confusion....So today I went back to his office for the follow up appointment (scheduled by his staff doctors) .... Dr Pinero walks in to say... I was not expecting to see you here ..... I say I had a follow up appointment before returning home tomorrow.... he says I am not used to see here patients who made a bad report on me because it affects even my insurance.... I say... I can leave then.... he asked me if I wanted to see another doctor of his staff... I said no.... when about to leave he started saying I should have talked to him and I said do you understand why I place a 3 starts review on you... he said yes but I should have talked to him.... I said good bye and left.Returning to Brazil tomorrow, I am brazilian/american with medical insurance in the US.... have no time to schedule a new general physicial between today and tomorrow... so what to say.... Good Bye and Never ever want to see or hear from you again.From 3 starts you were down to 1 because system could not allow me zero.Again a pity because a good doctor but his office is not professional.Hate to place a review like this but that is the felling left on my heart and throat for going with difficulties to his office, after 28 days of a fusion of 6 vertebrates, huge vest, walking with a cane, uber as I cannot drive and I get there to be received with stones because I had place a true review of services in his officeSo sorry.... Have never in my entire life had any situation with a single doctor or any health services provider.All the best.

Excellent patient care and follow up. Doctors usually are on schedule and long waits are not required. Professional and caring staff of support personal.

As for above message Im sorry that you feel that way. I have a hard time understanding this message specially when you continue to be a patient at PPMC. The medical staff is good. As for cost, from my experience you get charged for the service not the supplies. if you do not want to pay for accu check maybe you should try keeping up with it at home. Im Just Saying. Sounds like the most complient people are usually the ones to complain. Thats just my humble oppinion

I was for a year attending this medical office, my experience was pleasant thanks to Yadira, who assisted me at the front in the counter that helped me many times, more than the employees in their corresponding areas. My experience with Dr. Velez was very pleasant. I recently moved from Orlando and therefore changing medical office. On 2 occasions the new office has requested my medical file and they have not been successful, we have called several times and they do not answer. It is unfortunate that because I am not patient anymore, do not take me into consideration
