Dr. DeAza is an amazing doctor. She takes her time to listen and works together with you to come up with a health plan. I highly recommend her.

My father and mother are patients of Dr. De Aza and they are currently in the process of finding a new PCP given - shocker Dr. De Aza is no longer part of the practice.She is extremely dismissive and does not care to have any kind of one-on-one relationship with patients. My father was recently diagnosed with Diabetes, suffers high blood pressure and chronic heart disease. His annual lab results came back with concerning numbers and no one communicated with him. I was able to get him on his online portal to review his results and send the doctor questions regarding his results.When asked why no one contacted him regarding his lab results, he was referred to look at the online portal where everything is posted. Where is the human element? Not everyone is digitally inclined.Furthermore when he goes in for visits the doctor refuses to spend more than 10-15 with the patient and only addresses one concern. She states that if he needs to address any other question to make another appointment. He expressed his discontent and she very blatantly said “well this is a conveyer belt and we can only spend so much time with you.”While we understand there are external things at play here and that Dr. De Aza is likely overworked and overbooked - this should not come at the expense of at par patient care. This is the health and well-being of individuals.Needless to say, both my parents are transferring out of her care and this practice ASAP.

Dr. Aza was attentive, but held me accountable for following up. She takes excellent notes and refers to them during each appointment.

Was desperate for a sick visit and called/messaged for 2 days to be told to make an appt. However, there were no appts until September and asked for a lab to identify an infection but I was referred to be told to Lake NonaAdventhealth urgent care. I drove 10 miles passed my PCP to Adventhealth urgent care where I waited 1.5 hr after my scheduled time.

Dr. De Aza is very professional but her office/team is difficult to contact and never calls back. I had questions regarding annual visit lab test results and no one cared to address my questions or concerns.

Very kind and compassionate Dr! She takes her time with you and makes sure your concerns are addressed.

We totally agree with the last review. She talks down to you like you are a nobody and you know nothing but she doesnt even take the time to explain either. She was my mothers pcp for 3 years and saw her face to face 3 times. Her assistant always saw her. She doesnt take time to know her patients. When my mother got very sick she dismissed us and told us that we didnt know what we were saying. And it was actually her that was wrong. We then were told that she wouldnt see her anymore because we called her out on what she was doing wrong. We are actually happy to have another doctor that cares and actually has time to be with her patients and actually know their issues. Maybe she needs to get back to what a doctor really is...a care giver...not someone that has too many patients and only cares about $$$. Sad to see.

Dr De Aza is extremely professional and well as above and beyond genuine caring about her patient. She takes the time to really talk to you, addressing each of your problems with genuine empathy and support and referrals.I am extremely pleased and would be happy to refer family and friends to her care.

Dr. De Aza likes to lecture and make you feel less than as a person. I believe she has anger and serious issues as a person and it comes out how she treats you as a patient. I would not recommend her for any sort of care.

One of the best doctors I have ever been to! Dr. De Aza has been my primary care doctor for the past 2 years and she has been wonderful. I have referred my spouse and my sister to her, and both have agreed she is very compassionate and understanding. I plan to have her as my primary care for years to come.

Dr. Akilah de Aza has been my primary care doctor for the past two years. She has been caring, patient and extremely helpful with my many medical conditions. I would highly recommend her as she has been the best primary care doctor I have ever had. The staff at this office are very kind as well.
