Well What can I say !? Just that my Good Karma took a human form. Thanks to this Man Im doing well now. His surgical skills ensured that my surgery remained a laparoscopic procedure rather than the highly morbid open Sternotomy. He indeed has the Heart of a Lion; Eyes of an Eagle and the Handskills and Dexterity (akin the ladies in our homes). At this outset I should also express my Heartfelt appreciation to the Whole team - primarily Debbie and Sam who fixed my appointment and the Anesthetic team who took excellent care of me as also Kristine/Akpeke/Conrado as also the entire Staff at the Advent Health Post-operative ward who took care of my stormy post-opreative time with a steady hand, firm grip and warm smiles to lead me to shores of safety.

Excellent surgeon who communicates very well, the entire staff is efficient and easy to work with.

It was 10 years ago that Dr. Boyer saved my life. He is without a doubt the best and he has surrounded himself with the best. Greatest office staff ever. I wish I had room to share all the things I have experienced the last 10 years but a few are ...I have seen 4 grandchildren graduate high school, one grandchild graduate law school, 2 sons and my daughter received their masters degrees...I could go on and on but none of this would have been possible without Dr. Boyer and his staff. His education has served me well. If you choose him as your surgeon you will never regret it.

Incredibly professional, but kind, caring and compassionate. Takes time to make sure you understand your options. His team follow you through recovery. Was a hard surgery, but could not have been in more capable hands.

This will be 2 years since I visited Dr. Boyer, I have been living with an anomaly in my heart ❤ since birth, after an episode in the emergency room that put me at Dr. Boyer Office.The team was wonderful from the beginning, they informed me in detail about all the steps and all the necessary information to prepare for surgery, the surgery was successful and the beauty of it all is that I new what to expect from all the necessary information provided by Dr. Boyer and his team. Dr. Boyer is by far the greatest cardio thoracic surgeon I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Dr. Boyer bedside manner is awesome makes you feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Boyer staff is helpful and professional .His APRNs are out of this world. Thank you again for saving my life Doc.

4/26/2019Review of Dr Boyer and Dr HarrisDuring September 2018 I was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer and was at that time directed to speak with Dr Boyer who would become the lead surgeon on the removal of the tumor in January 2019. I had one meeting with Dr Boyer prior to seeing him again for a brief moment once admitted to the hospital January 7th 2019 for the surgery and then once after the surgery. It was very interesting that Dr Boyer was pretty much not involved as he had Dr Harris communicate things back and forth to me during my stay in the hospital and 3 weeks after for my follow up. These 2 may very well be great surgeons but their skills of supporting patients after the fact needs a lot of work, as I stressed my concern about not gaining weight and continued episodes of diarrhea 24/7 with out any real support from them and finally about 6 weeks into my constant phone calls that things were not getting any better Dr Harris received approval from Dr Boyer to prescribe me ATROPINE which might have slowed things down but I did not see it and again after another 4-5 weeks of an update that nothing has changed they scheduled a CT Scan and when asked why it would not include the lower area were I was having tightness and the diarrhea but Dr Harris stated this was only to give a be look at the chest and then he also stated I should probably see a GI Doctor which I quickly scheduled and meet with on 4-22-19 as you can see this has been a long time having the issues that I have been having. After meeting with the GI doctor he ordered a stool sample and a new CT Scan confused as to why my other doctors did not request that I have the lower area done as well during the most recent CT Scan again did not make sense, after the stool samples came back and I was notified by the GI doctor that I had CDI Clostridium Difficile InfectionThis has probably been going on sense I had left the hospital according to my GI doctor and with this length of time probably a good reason why I have not seen any weight gain either as the nutrients would just move through my system. This is almost 4 months that has past I a feel like because the lack of attention to detail after the surgery by Dr Boyer and Dr Harris has cost me months of heeling time and I feel like I am starting over with the GI doctor to get things back on track.The purpose of this information is to make sure that anyone that feels that they are not being treated right after surgery keep pushing because the Doctors will not reach out and offer you any input unless you keep pushing.

It has been one year now since Dr.Boyer had to remove a couple of lobes in on the right side of my chest, I was so scared but I tried to hide it all inside,Dr Boyer and his team did a wonderful jobDid I say a very wonderful Job !! Everyone was so open and honest and explained everything they were going to do ,I Healed so nicely ,And living my life with my wonderful Husband and my 3 daughters ,my son and all the grandchildren..Thanks to God And Dr Boyer and all his team works so well with you...God Bless Them All

Dr Boyer and his PA are awesome Doctors. They listen to you and dont give you the brush off and listen with concerns for your needs and what is the right thing to do to take care of your medial issue, the one thing most doctors dont have they top the list on and that is they have wonderful bedside manners.
