Is there ever anyone that answers their phone or return calls after someone leaves a message.

I’ve seen Dr Kakkar for 7 years now after I was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. He has been fantastic. Admittedly as w most Drs offices, they can be difficult to navigate. But, Dr Kakkar knows what he is doing, talks with me about my medical issues and gives me options and listens.Highly recommended!!!!!

Deserves ZERO star review for his incompetent office staff. Dr. Kakkar has two office locations, 311 W. Oak St. Kissimmee, FL 34741 & 9430 Turkey Lake Rd Ste#214 Orlando, FL 32819. I had the displeasure of dealing with his clueless office staff recently. They cancelled my follow-up appointment and never bothered to contact me about the cancellation. I drove to the Turkey Lake Rd office to find the door locked and the office deserted.I notified my WC case manager and she called Kakkar’s office to be told that someone called my cell a day prior and left a message about the cancellation. That is a LIE. There was no call to my cell nor my home to notify me of the cancellation. I called Kakkar’s office yesterday afternoon and had to leave a message requesting them to call me back. I did not receive a call back. I had to call them again today and was jockeyed back and forth between office staff, all of whom had no clue of how to handle my situation.My WC case manager advised me to ask for the Office Manager when I call Kakkar’s office. As I knew, it’s like asking to speak to the doctor himself. Of course I was never on the phone with this “office manager”. Apparently too busy doing nothing. I was never called and apologized to about the sudden cancellation of my appointment or asked to reschedule. I had to call THEM and handle it.This review is intended to inform anyone else that has a decision to make regarding a Cardiologist and deal with their office staff. Of course these days it’s a struggle ANYWHERE to have things done correctly the first time, but this office takes the cake! Do yourself a huge favor and find another Cardiologist office that cares and is knowledgeable about their jobs.As a side note, during one of my visits for a procedure, Dr. Kakkar never even acknowledged me. He was nearby monitoring the procedure as his nurses worked and he never bothered to say hello, or even nod his head to me. Real caring doctor. 🙄
