Dr.Lane and staff are very professional. I had a broken front tooth. I had an extraction, bone graft and implant done. I brought an Essix retainer made with my broken crown. This was adjusted and placed in my mouth for 3 to 6 months, until I heal.. I am so grateful, and want to thank Dr. Lane and his assistant Shyla. I experienced no pain, and am healing up very fast. Thank you Shyla for referring Dr. Lane to me.

Ive no idea why the doctor insist re-doing exactly the same screening Ive done in another dental clinic who referred me here just several days ago. I assume that they knew my insurance only covers one screening every year. The staff there were nice, but I doubt if they were nice to the patients or the money in their pockets.

I recently brought my father to Dr. Coppins office for a difficult procedure. He has a phobia of dental offices from past experiences. The staff and Dr. Coppin were knowledgeable, kind, empathetic and just easy to work with from scheduling, to insurance billing and questions to customer service. I highly recommend them and commend them on their ability to bring the best even in difficult scenarios.

When our daughter had her braces removed she had a very straight, pretty smile but her teeth looked very short and she showed a lot of gums when she smiled. We talked with Dr Coppin about possibilities for improving the look of her smile and he felt that her teeth weren’t really that short and that she just had too much bone and gums that covered them up. We agreed to have him do surgery to remove the excess bone and gums. He provided a medication to help our daughter relax during the procedure. He was very meticulous about what he did and all of the assistants and front desk people were very very friendly and professional. The surgery went well and although our daughter had some pretty significant swelling for a few days she had almost no pain. Her gums are now almost fully healed and her smile looks amazing! Her teeth look much taller and her gums are much less noticeable and she loves the result and so do we. Thank you Dr Coppin and everyone at South Bay Periodontics for making our daughter’s smile so much more beautiful!!

I had to get a tooth removed and was very nervous about the cost and the procedure. I met with Carrie and she went over all the insurance and what my portion would be. Dr Coppin made me feel at ease. I didnt feel anything and was very thankful for the care I received. I will definitely be going back to Dr Coppin when Im ready for my dental implant.

As a senior citizen, I can personally attest to a varied array of dental procedures (on the receiving end) that Ive experienced in both military, as well as (several) civilian capacities. With the evolvement of dental procedures over the decades, and the technological advances that are presently available, It still remains a common-sense and best interest practice for potential clients, to do personal research of a meticulous and unbiased manner, when dealing with the many varied types of oral correction. I decided on South Bay Periodontics and Dr. B. Coppin, as well as his team of friendly, highly professional, and experienced staff. My procedures involved an array of several treatments, follow-ups, and time-saving consultations that took place between Dr. Coppin, and my regular dentist. This in, and of itself, saved me considerable time, and additional costs. Everything was meticulously detailed before, during, and after each procedure. Nothing was left to question, and there was no misunderstanding on my part.All areas at SBP are hygienically maintained for patient safety, and the staff are all well groomed and manicured. These are things that impress me, and added to my choice of seeking treatment there.Financially, when I had decided to precede with the surgeries, I found it wise to factor in the geographical location, time, expense of travel, scheduling, etc. of several periodontal specialists, as these add to the initial outlay of expenses in addition to the main costs. I found South Bay Periodontics very reasonable, and competitive with others. I would highly recommend that everyone with periodontal issues give them a call, and schedule a preliminary appointment. I was glad I did:-)My particular treatment(s) included laser surgery, some tooth extractions, bone regeneration, implant surgeries, and a couple follow-up consultations between my dentist, and Dr. Coppin. They worked out the best program for my particular case. X-Rays were taken every step of the way, (which is extremely important, as things can change in a 3-month period of time.) Im highly impressed with the surgeries, treatments, implants, and the fact that it was all meticulously overseen by Dr. Coppin and his professional staff., and virtually pain free!Like all great work, it takes time for the various healing stages to come together, and all aspects are scrutinized every step of the way. Very professional staff here helps me ease my fear of dental visits.

I paid $13000 for a surgery they convinced me I needed and I got ZERO coverage of gum grafts on the two teeth I was referred for. Dr Coppin did nothing to make this right. After surgery I went to a new dentist and they referred me for the same surgery on the same two teeth he claims he covered. He also threw a royal tantrum when I refused a fluoride treatment. These people are complete crooks and they ripped me off and didnt stand behind their work.
