Nottingham Health and Rehab went above and beyond to care for my dad! He might of been the most difficult resident/patient they have ever had and he truly received 5 star care! The peace of mind I had that he was treated with respect and dignity was a much needed blessing for me at that time. I am forever grateful and appreciative to the dedicated staff that I personally feel are angels on earth!!!

My mothers time at this facility was brief, but we still had some bad moments. Im willing to give them grace because things were crazy during covid. She was transferred back to a hospital after a week. This review is about the time after. They called me after my mother was transferred and offered to hold her belongings in case she was transferred back. 2 weeks later she had passed and I called about her possessions. The first time I called, the employees hung up on me. The second time, I was able to leave a message. The third, I successfully talked to the social worker. Chelsea is great and offered to gather my mothers things and have me pick them up. The fourth, fifth, and sixth times I called were pointless.I know shes only had a couple of things at the home, but I wanted to have them back. Its a disappointing experience to be sure.

I wanted to pass along the experience we recently had with Nottingham especially given the current situations where you cant personally get in to validate care given. My parent recently spent a week in the facility and came out with nothing but good things to say about the staff. Early on they engaged us in the plan they had for her care and had conference calls when requested. When the parent was sick over night a staff member stayed with her to make sure she was ok. So thank you to everyone from the chef who helped with the phones :) to the care workers who personally attended to our parent.

My husband has been a resident of Nottingham for a short-term stay for 3 weeks. Everyone here is very friendly and caring. The nursing staff has been very good and extremely accommodating. It is a very clean environment. I feel safe leaving him at night knowing he is in good hands. He barely ever hits his call light but the nursing staff comes in before he even has to and ask if theres anything he needs and they deliver it quickly. Its very impressive. Charmain, the Activities Director, is marvelous. But the nursing staff overall goes above and beyond every day. Housekeeping stays on top of everything. The CNAs that care for my husband are very friendly and professional.

I could not be more pleased with this Facility. It may not be the most highest rated on Google for some reason, but I cant say enough positive things about it. My Mother stayed here for a couple of weeks for rehab and the staff was nothing short of amazing. The intake was effortless the staff and director, Rose and Abigael are stellar. Every single person that came in contact with my mother was loving and kind and compassionate. She has been in other facilities and was very disappointed so she was frightened to try a new one. This place met our expectations and beyond. The therapists, especially Kathleen, were amazing and patient. The nurses, especially Grace and Lucy, were all very kind, understanding and loving. The kitchen staff and cooks were also exceptional. They allowed me to stay as a guest with my mother in her Room for 95% of the time so I witnessed every interaction with the staff and I was so very pleased! As much as my mother was happy to go home to be in her own house, she was actually sad about leaving the people here. If you truly care about your loved one who has to go to a facility, this is the place. We are very grateful to this company and to all of the people who work there.

I have been in 5 different rehabs and Nottingham is the best, everyone seems to take care of things around here very well and everyone here takes good care of the patients. It doesnt bother any employees to help and its the little things that matter the most, I couldnt ask for anything better. The therapist are so amazing!

I am not questioning the care my mom got. I do take issue with the Business Manager - I think his name is Brian. My mom was placed here for rehab after a fall at another facility. She would need to move next to a place that was a nursing home with rehab services. Nottingham does offer this so we met with Brian to discuss options. He was a direct person, which I appreciate. However, he crossed a line into being condescending and impatient. He should not be meeting with families. I work in business and understand direct conversation very well. In these circumstances, sensitivity and patience is a requirement. If he cant muster some skills in this area, he had best not meet with families. We would never consider giving Nottingham any more money than we have already for this reason. There are too many other options to put up with his attitude.

My dad was there less than a week for wound care and to get stronger so he could go home. And he went from bad to worse quickly. He was found sitting in his chair slouched down needing bathroom assistance last night. Then tonight he was found sitting in his own urine .. With bed sores and dehydrated and transfered back to hospital for kidney failure and congestive heart failure.

Stay away as far as possible! Especially if your loved one has dementia. The staff are untrained and dont know how to handle this very special problem. Therefore the staff become uncompassionate, neglectful and abusive. The upper staff and directors may say theyre working on it everyday but you will be discharged before any positive changes will ever be made. The lower staff argue amongst themselves that its not their joband are unhappy. If youre hospital recommends you go here or its the only place with a bed, there is a reason. Nottingham is in business only because it gets Medicare funds.Wait for a better, recommended option. We learned the hard way after 30 days not getting better and finally just left. They didnt care since Medicare was done paying.

Being here in Nottingham has truly helped me, I first came here unable to do anything for myself and didnt think I was going to be able to walk again and my therapist really supported me and went the extra mile to make sure I could walk again. All of the staff is wonderful here.

My step father went here after a hip replacement. He ended up with a bed sore and after sometime he ended up back in the hospital. The bed sore was bone deep and had an antibiotic resistant ecoli infection. He also had a knot on his leg that the facility ignored. And it is an aneurism that is bleeding and can no longer be repaired. He is now in hospice and does not expect to live much longer. This place is obviously either under staffed or incompetent.

Social worker was of no help. When my fathers insurance ran out, she simply wanted him to leave with no recommendations for alternative care at home or that we could file an insurance appeal. To make matters worse, it took them 2 weeks to realize that my dad s swollen arm was due to a blood clot. Not one person bothered to report this to the doctor until I called the doctor myself.

He also had knot on his leg that they ignored just like the bed sore. The knot on his leg is an aneurysm and it is now bleeding and can not be fixed. He is in hospice now and not expected to live do to the aneurysm that was not looked at. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!!

For days I tried to get in touch with the Business Office Manager, Jessica, but she never returned my emails or phone calls. Very unprofessional. Seems like she needs additional customer service training.
