The technician was great;however it cost way more than I was quoted on the phone. Be careful how you ask the owner about price details. We traveled to be a bit disappointed.

Ive brought my kiddo in twice to them and each time they have gotten me right in and taken care of my daughter. Their service is guaranteed, and each time shes been good to go. They give a free check up within two weeks as well. Theyve also explained that I dont have to do as much in my house as previously thought, which has made my life a ton easier when dealing with lice. Worth the money to have a service like this by far!! Plus the staff has been great. Im usually freaking out and they are as calm as can be, which makes me feel better.

WONDERFUL experience!!! The childcare center I work for had an outbreak and we went here. They gave everyone from our center a discount on the already amazing low price .The employees were SUPER friendly and helpful. This was our familys first experience in dealing with lice, and Im so happy a friend recommended Heartland Healthy Heads! The ladies there were so nice and really did a thorough job. We chose their service that included use of the hot air AireAlle device along with combing and oil. It took about an hour, and I was easily able to get same day appointments for us (I highly recommend getting the whole family checked because parents can get lice, too!). Although I hope we wont have another lice issue, I will definitely be returning to Heartland Healthy Heads if we do!

I wasnt aware of the $10 charge per person and I didnt feel like the Lady did a thorough job when checking my head. She spent more time on my son then she did me. She checked the left side and the top and the back but not the right side and thats where Ive been itching at. Then when I bought ponytails that repel lice I put one in my hair and it snapped so I had to drive back and take it back. For the price I paid I could have gotten 2 over-the-counter lice treatments and done it myself. I will say Susan was very compassionate and did all she could do and did try to make things right I just wish things were done more thoroughly and that the pricing was understood before I went to the back.

I was treating my daughter for love for 3 weeks in the process of moving to a new house with absolutely no luck at all. It was traumatic for her and me and never ending. Lice is an unfortunate part life that some have to deal with. I called healthy heads last night in a panic after discovering my 10 year old had lice. They got her in first thing in the morning. After an hour and a half, she walked out lice free. The lady (I can’t remember her name) was professional, nice, and very fast and good at removing all the lice and eggs. She explained everything to us and told us what to do when we got home. If only they had a place like this when I was little and had lice. It was much more pleasant than the 3 days of my mother combing through my hair on the regular. I can’t recommend this place enough. Hopefully no one will need it, but if they do, this is where they should go!! Thank you so much!

The staff at Heartland are wonderful. They are very friendly and understand how to get rid of lice! They have several options to help you get rid of the little critters on any budget. From do-it-yourself at home products along with instructions to additional tools (heat dryer) to dehydrate the eggs and lice. I highly recommend them!

We had SUCH a great experience here! They were incredibly knowledgeable about lice and proper treatment, and were able to tailor a treatment to our needs, instead of just trying to convince us to use their most expensive treatment. They were also able to educate us about how to prevent lice from returning. They are incredibly friendly and genuine. It truly made an ugly, stressful situation of recurring lice so much more tolerable. We honestly enjoyed our time there. In addition to treating my 10-year-olds mild case, they did a head check on my one-year-old and they were wonderful with him; he loved them! We have used other lice treatment centers in KC, and left unsatisfied. They are absolutely the best center around!

I cannot recommend this place enough!We had been fighting lice for 2 months, and spent hundreds of dollars on home remedies, electric comb, over the counter, and finally even the prescription stuff. When my 6 year old woke up one morning with bugs after 2 weeks without.....I was in tears!!!I went to the clinic and after explaining that we were on a tight budget, and having 3 daughters plus myself to treat, they found a way to get me all the oil treatments I needed, plus a comb for less than what I spent on doctor and prescription treatment the last time!They were so kind and encouraging and helped me deal with my anxiety over lice. They really are the best.Save your time and money and go to them first

Ive been treated twice by Heartland Healthy Heads (the Olathe, KS branch), and I was checked again today for lice. As a nanny, it can be unavoidable sometimes to garner a sickness/lice/etc. from the children. Even though having lice can be scary and feel gross, these ladies are amazing at what they do. They had answers to all of my questions, and there treatment WORKS. I never had to come back again because my head was still itching, only because I had gotten lice again from nannying. The women who work here are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and they always put me at ease. I recommend Heartland Healthy Heads to all of friends/families/employers because its always an all-around great experience.

Just when you thought youve been through it all, your niece or nephew visits! Then the dreaded call from mom. LICE!!! I had no idea how things have changed! Heartland healthy heads is a great place, they know what theyre doing, and Id recommend it!! Luckily, I didnt have it!!

When I received the call that I needed to pick my daughter up from school because she had head lice I was mortified and then terrified it would take over our house and our lives for the next month! Everyone was recommending the place in Overland Park, but I knew I would have to go back a couple of times, and living in the Northland, that is a jaunt. I didnt want to have to take my children out of school a bunch either. So, I quickly hopped online to find a place that could help and found Heartland Healthy Heads.I opted for the Airelle treatment because it was guaranteed and I didnt want to have to go back. Well, its been three weeks since our first kiddo had treatment and two since the second (she clearly got it from her sister), and still no lice! Our youngest never got it. I have recommended this service several times since! It is expensive, but it was worth not having to leave work and take the kids out of school to do multiple head checks.

I was so panicked when my daughter came home with lice. I had no idea what to do, so the school nurse recommended Heartland Healthy Heads. Im so glad she did! It is expensive but i was able to use my HSA card, which was nice. The lice were gone after the first treatment. Im so glad we went to them, and hopefully well never have this problem again but if we do, I know who to call!
