I hired this service last minute to take care of my grandmother on the weekends. Over the past 4 weekends they have only come 4 days. The first aid they sent us was always late, required assistance to change my grandmother, stared at her and made her uncomfortable, and embarrassed her by talking about her bowels loudly in front of her and while there was family in the house within ear shot. When requesting a new aid, the owner assumed we didn’t want the service anymore and didn’t have anyone come the following Saturday. I had to contact her and clarify but it was too late for the same day so she stated someone would be there Sunday. After that was clarified, I assumed we would be set going forward but the following weekend nobody showed up. When approached, her excuse was that the person she thought would be there had a different schedule and wasn’t actually available. She didn’t reach out to me, I had to call her again to even get this answer. She said nobody was coming this weekend and that she was sorry. We decided to give her another shot so the following week I touched base on Thursday regarding the upcoming weekends coverage. She didn’t respond until Friday and only stated she was checking the schedule and was waiting to hear back from one person. On top of this she pointed out she had staff that tested positive for covid and there were protocols she had to follow. In the end she said she didn’t hear back from that one person so she didn’t think she was available and left it at that. Nobody came for a second weekend in a row. When I hired her, I explained we needed someone reliable and then I reiterated communication between us was essential. Neither of these points were met as she felt it was okay to have her staff not show up and have me chase her down for clarification instead of contacting me ahead of time. I do not recommend this service for anyone looking for someone reliable.
