I havent felt fully confident and with my smile EVER until now. Braces are hard as an adult, but I would do it a thousand times over. Dr. D and his team are truly outstanding, giving each patient their full time and attention. Dr. D pays great attention to detail and hears and addresses each of your concerns. He always answered all of my questions and was transparent about my treatment throughout the process. Adults, if you are on the fence, go for it. A smile lasts forever and braces are only temporary. Dr. DeMaio was absolutely phenomenal. Our son has some sensory issues but Dr. DeMaio was kind, patient, and thoroughly explained the whole process to him in a way that he understood what was happening during the entire process. Answered all our questions and our sons questions.Was a little rocky during the installation of the pallete expander due to sons sensitivity issues, but Dr. DeMaio was a ROCK STAR!!! Patience for days while being amazing with our sons issues during installation.

So if youre worried they will give you some fancy contraption for no reason, no need to keep worrying. I was about to get braces for the first time and I was terrified but by the time they finished I barely even know they started. I love going for my appointment now because the staff are gentle and they tell great stories from their day-to-day lives. My son had his two front teeth knocked out during a basketball game in January 2020. If it was for Dr. DeMaio, I don’t know what we would have done. He literally saved his teeth. His braces came off today and they look amazing! Couldn’t be more grateful or appreciative!

We are relatively new to the orthodontics game, and have been very happy with DeMaio Orthodontics thus far. Very easy scheduling, including very early appts for students. Appointments are quick without feeling rushed, and providers are attentive.

Incredibly honest…told us we should do a retainer for my son at first until he lost all baby teeth and then do braces…it would be less expensive. He and staff are wonderful and friendly!

I went to DeMaio Orthodontics in both the Amherst and Northampton locations during my childhood for braces. I was treated with so much respect and kindness by all the staff during every visit. I remember that my teeth were a very complicated case before the process started, and the team at DeMaio Orthodontics helped to make my teeth straight and aligned! It has been such a confidence boost in my life and the procedure has made my speech much easier to understand, which has been the most positive gift of all.

I met with 3 orthodontists and chose DeMaio Orthodontics for the convenience of the locations and overall value. Dr. DeMaio was also informed and open to experimenting with a procedure I wanted to try. Dr Demaio makes the journey personable and fun and the service of his staff is superb. I highly recommend.

My daughter tends to get very anxious about dentist/doctor visits. Dr. DeMaio and his staff are great. They made her so comfortable and relaxed during her initial consultation, that shes never stresses about her visits.

Dr D is amazing; charasmatic and great with teeth to boot! I had invisalign for a year before moving away. Dr Demaio was super understanding and more than fair when it came time to settle up.Even only a year in and my teeth look a million times better. Would strongly recommend Dr Demaio!

On a scale of 1 to 10, Dr. Demaio is an 11. I love Dr. D and his personality. Hes easy to talk to and makes me laugh from when I get into his office to when Im leaving. Ive had my braces for about a year and a half, and Im going to miss the regular visits to his office, but it was well worth having them. Plus, he likes the Percy Jackson series. Also, the staff is sooooooooooooooo nice!!! I wouldnt want to go anywhere else. (HM)I love Dr. Demaio and his staff. They are all super nice and friendly. Everyone in the office gives off a good vibe that always makes me smile. Braces are really hard to care for, but going to Dr. Demaio made the two years that I had my braces on enjoyable. I really looked forward to the riddles and contests throughout my time with and without braces. I was always guessing the answer to the riddle of the month and seeing the next month if I got it right. I will really miss my visits as I might only have a few more left. I had a lot of fun going to Dr. Demaios and I wouldnt change a thing! (KM)

I am new to the area, but I have had more than my fair share of visits to orthodontists, periodontists, general dentists, etc., in my lifetime. I was very impressed with Dr. DeMaio and his practice. It was great that he was able to take me on as a new patient within a few days of my call and that Dr. DeMaio was willing to repair my bonded lingual retainer even though I will not be needing braces. All the staff, including Dr. DeMaio, were very warm and welcoming. I was in and out of the office in well under 30 minutes, and Dr. DeMaio took care of the issue perfectly after taking time to consult with me about options. He definitely seems to know his stuff.
