Nobody is Southern California compares to Dr. Elam and his team! As soon as I came in for a rhinoplasty consultation I knew this clinic was right for me. The staff is professional, friendly, and so caring. Dr. Elam is an incredible, talented surgeon. Prior to the procedure I told Dr. Elam I was looking for a very natural, hump free nose. He did exactly that! My nose looks so natural that nobody noticed I got anything done. I am so happy and grateful for Dr. Elams work. The entire process was extremely positive on all fronts. I highly recommend going to this clinic if you are looking for a rhinoplasty.

I couldn’t have had a better experience! Dr. Elam and his staff are professional, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable. I was so nervous going into it and they completely eased my nerves and made the entire process stress free and enjoyable. My results are exactly what I have always hoped for and look just like what Dr. Elam showed me on the digital imaging before surgery! I have tried since September to schedule an appointment with Dr. Elam. First he was out of the office and despite their many attempts to send me to another doctor I finally got an appointment. Then a few day’s before the appointment in late October it got moved to November. The appointment in November was moved again, then no one called and the person they have scheduling appointment kept lying that they weren’t getting my emails and that the number they tried for me didn’t work. Long story short I don’t think a doctor should be in business that treats patients like this. Shame on you.

A truly amazing surgeon. Of course, when someone decides they want to undergo a surgical procedure, a huge decision in its own right, the next huge decision is who is going to be doing the procedure. I searched high and low and saw which surgeons aesthetic matched my own. I went to a consult with one (unnamed) Beverly Hills surgeon prior to Dr. Elam and was extremely disappointed with his morphing results. His work was approaching $20,000 and I swear, I couldnt tell a difference with the before and after morph, having to actually ask which was which. It was so awful lol. Despite that experience, I was still determined to search for a surgeon that I vibed with. I even watched YouTube videos and saw Savannah Glembins (weights n freedom on IG) journey of her own rhinoplasty with Dr. Elam and I was floored with her amazing results. The more I saw and read about him, I knew I wanted him as my surgeon. Scheduling with the office for a consult was a breeze, and meeting him and his staff in person was even better. They literally make you feel like family and from start to finish it has just been a great process. Samantha has been a sweet heart. I ended up going for Dr. Elam’s suggestion of buccal fat removal, sub mental lipo, along with the rhinoplasty for an overall well-balanced look/profile. I got a Cute goody bag on my pre-op day, with Shelley helping me out and giving me advice. I got a surgery appointment quickly and didnt bruise at ALL. It was so ridiculously seamless and now that I am about 3 months post op, I can see my long term results and I am over the moon. Amazingly well-run office with an amazing surgeon :)

I have to say that I am so happy with the results of my Rhinoplasty. Like most people I was nervous with what the results would be. Even though the staff is fantastic and Dr. Elam’s bedside manner is great (even though I was out most of the time) 😂. There was still that apprehensive feeling. SUCH a phenomenal physician! Both Dr. Elam and the anesthesiologist who works with him are two of the absolute best doctors Ive ever met. After an accident, which resulted in facial trauma, Dr. Elam and his staff saved the day! Its as if my face was never broken!!! Truly, I couldnt be more thankful for Dr. Elam and everyone at his practice who helped me. The entire staff is fabulous! I highly recommend Dr. Elam to everyone. After my accident, I did some extensive research to ensure that I found the best surgeon for the job, and I am proud to say its Dr. Elam!

Dr. Elam and his staff are incredible. I wanted some lipo done on my back, chest, belly, and legs to get rid of the dead fat that I cant get rid of by diet and exercise and the experience was amazing. Dr. Elam performed the surgery in the morning and I was resting in my hotel room by lunch time. His staff and himself have continuously followed up with me, even providing Dr. Elams personal cell. The recovery as expected takes a few months but the results were immediate. Going to see Dr. Elam has changed my life for the better by sculpting my body to what I have always envisioned it should look like and in doing so, giving me more self confidence. If you are thinking about any type of cosmetic surgery, I would highly recommend booking a consult appointment....it could change your life too! :-)

Being a doctor myself, and having attended to patients in need for nearly 22 years, I can, without a doubt, say that Dr. Elam is the absolute best surgeon, and most importantly a caring and compassionate human being! My 9 year old son was in an accident at camp and my wife and I contacted Dr. Elams office as an emergency at the end of the day on a Monday. The staff and Dr. Elam spoke to us on the phone and graciously stayed late to help my son. My patient coordinator Kendel went through the process of my rhinoplasty very well and helped me feel very comfortable with the whole process (considering it was my first time) and the anesthesia did not leave me nauseous or droopy at all! We will see how my nose looks once the swelling goes down

First time ever receiving cosmetic surgery, so my mother and I were fairly nervous at the start. She found Dr. Elam after a week of research and was very optimistic about his reviews.. and HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT and far exceeded our expectations. The entire process (pre-op through post-op) has been incredibly smooth and all of the staff from day one were so kind and helpful. Kendel was alongside Dr. Elam for our consultation and was very knowledgeable and answered any of our questions. We decided the same day to set an appointment for surgery as we were so excited and felt at ease to be in Dr. Elam’s hands. I had a rhinoplasty done for my hooked nose and let me tell you, the results were phenomenal! My greatest fear was that it would look too prosthetic or obviously altered but Dr. Elam provides such natural results that most people didn’t realize I had surgery and thought I was born with it! I had very little bruising post-op (a little yellow around the eyes) and minimal swelling. My nose looks so good now I can’t wait to see what it looks like after it’s completely healed! My mom and I are extremely happy that we chose this office and if we decide to have any future operations, we definitely know now where to go. With such a great amount of experience and skill, it’s no wonder Dr. Elam works wonders ❤️(As a plus, the office is located right next to Fashion Island, a nice area to shop and eat after post-op visits!) 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Dr Elam is the best!! I had a septorhinoplasty a few months ago. After researching and consulting with several surgeons I knew that he was the one for me! I showed him pictures of the nose I wanted (very natural & not overdone) and he did EXACTLY what I asked for!! The recovery was fairly easy and almost painless. His office staff were very sincere and accommodating and answered all of my questions with patience, poise and grace. Some even shared their personal experiences with me. Thank you Dr. Elam you are a true artist!!!!

While traveling in California, I went to Dr. Elam to take care of some scarring on my forehead from treatments I had as a teenager. Everyone in the office was incredibly helpful and informative. I was expecting this to be a VERY expensive surgery but Dr. Elam explained that some simple Botox would clean everything up. I was in and out of there in an hour and my forehead looks amazing. I only wished I would have seen him years ago. Highly recommended.

Dr. Elam and his wonderful staff helped me out tremendously after I had an accident where I cut my head and was left with 7 staples in my head. The ER did a haphazard job of fixing me up (they even left asphalt in my stapled up wound), without Dr. Elam I would have had major scarring and hair loss. Today, three months later and the scar would have to be pointed out to you. The Doctor and his staff have amazing bedside manner and I would recommend them to anyone. I am extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to use his services.

A very good friend recommended him, and all her good words were proven right! I was always insecure & self conscience of my bumpy big nose, until my good friend recommended Dr. Elam for a nose job, prior to her amazing experience with him, she admitted to me that day, of my non stop complaints, that her nose was done. I couldnt believe her nose looks SO NATURAL and PERFECT! So i went for it! My consultation went great, Dr. Elam was sooo nice and warm, he made me feel so comfortable. The office was house warming and welcoming. The whole office team is great, they treat you like family! After the procedure, my nose looked FABULOUS! I was obsessed! The Before & After pictures were too good to be true! I am so much happier with myself because of him, and send him a million thank yous!

I went to see Dr. Elam after being referred to him in 2017. I went there after loosing over 100 pounds and wanted a tummy tuck. He convinced me that I should have full body lipo because his method of lipo would tighten my skin and fix the area of concern. I expressed with my concerns many times after the surgery and his said oh we couldnt of given you a tummy tuck without doing lipo even though I was happy at my current weight after loosing all that weight. He also talked me into getting buccal fat removal at the same time. Needles to say I was unhappy with my results of the lipo and he said dont worry I will give you a great deal on a tummy tuck. I discuss with him exactly what I wanted during multiple consults before I finally said ok lets do it. Day of surgery I get there early and another Doctor marked up my body and I went in for the surgery. After the surgery a few days later when bandages were removed I discovered that my surgery wasnt perform as we had spoke about. Dr. Elam did a partial tummy tuck and left my love handles behind after discussing that they would be removed and had paid for this to be done and I contract MRSA at his office. So after expressing this concern to him for almost 4 months he kept telling me he would correct that problem. During my last visit he tried to put me off another month and I got upset about it and he finally said oh I am not fixing it you should take this up with the Doctor who assisted me on your surgery. I said no I am taking this up with you because I paid your office and you hired an outside doctor you should make this right. Needless to say they asked me to leave the office and are refusing to make things right. I am now working with another doctor to correct the surgery. I thought he was a stand up guy and good person but all he did was get me to do other surgeries I didnt need to make more money off me and after spending over $23,000 with him on my surgeries my body still isnt the way I was told it would be when I placed my body & life in his hands to correct my imperfections on my body. Very disappointed with this practice. By the way he has changed the name of his practice so beware. He also didnt put the scar on my body where he said it would be. I was told it would be below my waistline and guess what it isnt. You can see it over my pants when I am dressed. I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH MY RESULTS.

RUN!!! DO NOT WALK AWAY!!! Dr. Elam basically ruined my life as I knew it. I had replacement breast augmentation 6 years ago. Dr. Elam made my replacements uneven, TOO large and apparently severed and stretched a nerve because he cut sooooo deep. My SEVERE PAIN began within days and Dr. Elam was NO HELP except to try to get rid of me and refer me to a pain specialist. My implants were removed by a plastic surgeon (Elam is a cosmetic surgeon) who stated that the implants were placed UPSIDE DOWN - BACKWARDS!!! My whole life turned upside down! My chronic pain was so unbearable I couldnt wear a bra for over three years even with pain medcine. I couldnt work or function as a normal person and in 2010 I went on Permanent Disability. This is NO JOKE! Please read about Dr. Elam loosing his license and trying to receive disability payout for his mental problems. I wouldnt wish this on anyone!

Do not go here. Im trying to save your life with this review. He operated on my nasal turbinates back in 2017 without my consent now i live in Hell. Look up what nasal turbinates are and make sure nobody ever touches yours. Do not go here. He does extra stuff on you that you did not ask for!! This guy is gonna meet his maker one day thats all i can say. Terrible surgeon. Terrible person

After doing extensive research and comparing multiple procedure photos on RealSelf, I finally decided to commit to Dr. Elam to preform my septorhinoplasty surgery . Even though his facility was 2 hours away from my Iocation I thought it would be worth the drive..Well, I WAS RIGHT!Instantly after contacting their facility I was arranged with an appointment date for a consultation. The staff was beyond friendly and professional over the phone. . Upon arrival to my consultation I was greeted by, Jody. She was so friendly it put me at ease (for I do not do well in any DRs office). They reviewed what would happen the day of the surgery and prepped me with a care bag full of items that I would have never thought of packing but would have needed!Before being put to sleep, Dr. Elam made sure to ask my what my least favorite features of my nose was so he could focus on that. I thought it was thoughtful of him to care about a patients option instead of just doing what he thought was best.After everything was done and I was sent home they proceeded to call me every so often just to follow up and see how I was doing. I would definitely recommend Dr. Elam and his staff to anyone wanting rhinoplasty or septoplasty surgery. You will not be disappointed!!

The best choice Ive ever made was to trust Dr. Elam with one of my biggest insecurities. I will never trust anyone else in this world!

I was extremely disappointed in the results I got. Not only did Dr. Elam leave my body lopsided, when I went back to him and he saw what he had done he told me it was because I was built that way. I was not born that way. His work is shoddy and he does not stand behind his work. I would never recommend Dr. Elam.

If you want to became ugly go to this doctor . I think he is plumber , he doesnt have experience at all . Ill not recommend this doctor.

Why is this man still in business. He is no good plastic surgeon. Do your research, hes had his license taken away.
